"I can't wait!" Winter said, flying forward to join me, past the tree that I face planted in.

As soon as it was revealed to Winter, she gasped. I saw a glitter in her eye, that I had never seen in her. Like some sort of other life had been brought back to her, and reconnected. I could see her beak, form with her new grin. The sun shone brightly on the view of my home, nature, and now, Winter's home.

"It's perfect! This is so cool! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thanks.. For giving me another chance, Shadow. I will pay off my debt I have to you.." Winter said, now looking over to me.

I shook my head as in a 'no', "No debt shall be payed, I am simply doing what I love.. Helping animals." I said smiling hopefully. I let my poofy, flowing, purple hair flow in the wind, though the right side of my hair, stayed the same. Always draped over my right eye. I suppose it did come in handy with other ponies.. 

"Are you sure, Shadow?" Winter asked, cocking her head. Her eyes loomed for my answer. In turn, I nodded.

My ears twitched, someone, or something was coming. I wasn't worried though, I knew whomever it could be, they wouldn't be bothersome. For, I loved every creature in this forest. Even if I hadn't met them.

"Shadow! You've returned! And you brought a friend, how nice!" Astra said, with her cheery voice. I could feel her illuminating flames heat onto my coat of midnight fur.

"Shadow! You never told me there were other birds here!" Winter's voice was filled with excitement and joy. Even the light of Astra's flame hit Winter's face.

"Welp, surprise!" I say quietly laughing. The flame of Astra lit up the small area of where we all were. But, the flame didn't dare touch the tree, blocking the sights of Sterope and Astra's tree or my cabin.

"You are a snowy owl, yes?" Astra asked Winter.

"Yep! Well, actually, the last snowy owl.." Winter now said, returning with sadness.

Astra and I gasped at the same time. "WHAT!?" Astra and I also said at the same time.
