I closed the door and sunk to my hooves. Athena was on the ground looking up at me, her head tilted. I was still pretty shaken from what happened, going out into Ponyville, again. And actually socializing with a pony. She wasn't that bad, although I would prefer to socialize with Spike.

I looked down at Athena and softly smiled. She was here, and I was here. We were both in the present and that is what matters. I then once more realized, my work was abandoned. And at this time, it was sunset. I wouldn't abandon it this time for sleep. Although I may love sleep, and dreams, and even fusions, I can work in the night.

I got up, and opened the door, I walked out onto the porch and looked back at Athena who had already fallen asleep. She had her wings spread fully out on the floor while her little head lay on the wood.

"Heh." I say quietly, closing the door. I look at the sunset, now turning into night. I step out into the wilderness of the Everfree forest from the inside. The cool night air breeze hit my flowing mane, and before I knew it, Luna had raised the moon.

I walked over to my work, my hooves hitting the blades of grass on the way. I looked down at my wood piece that I created. Untouched from the last time I was working on it. This log was huge, and could be used for a seating area for my main room of the cabin. I just had to find some fabrics. But I couldn't risk being seen in Ponyville yet again. I would find a solution tomorrow.

I picked up the log, placed it on my back, and trotted to my door. I quietly opened the door making sure not to wake Athena. The creak of the door would surely wake her, but no, she still lay there sound asleep. I hope Luna was giving her good dreams. I then shut the door blocking the breeze, and trot over to the Berlix side table and place the log next to it.

I wouldn't let this beautiful night pass by, and so once I placed the log, I decided to go star gazing.
