9/11 memorial drawing
I drew this to express the horrors people faced while witnessing this event
Also here's a way better speech I did on Instagram
September 11th, a day that will forever haunt the lives of Americans. On this day 18 years ago the two World Trade Centers and the Pentagon were struck by commercial airlines that were hijacked by terrorists. Another plane crashed in the fields of Pennsylvania by the passengers and crew on board to prevent the plane from striking either the Capital building or the White House. Thousands of people lost their lives that day. Innocent people that didn't deserve to die such agonizing deaths. Some jumped from the highest floors due to the intensity of the heat caused by the ignited jet fuel. Some were crushed when parts of the building fell, others died instantly as soon as the planes hit. First responders and firefighters died trying to save the people trapped in the building. Survivors are dying due to the toxic chemicals inhaled from the collapse. Flight attendants and pilots died or lost friends and loved ones to this disaster. Never forget these people, the flight crews, the first responders, the innocent people, the 30 children who died in dat care that day in the basement. The men and women who would never get to see their family and friends ever again. Children, like me, born in 2001 are the last year that were alive during this attack. Many children are not told about the extent of this tragedy and people do not shine enough light on how this event changed The United States as we know it. This tragedy will forever haunt those who lived through it and it shows us true human nature at its worst. Cruelty lives in this world, threatening lives of millions of innocent people and the world needs to do something more about it. Murdering thousands is not a victory, taking innocent lives shouldn't be shrugged if a shoulder, death should not be taken as lightly as it is. People joke and make conspiracy theories about this day, turning a blind eye to the actually impact it causes. What matters is that people died this day eighteen years ago and we are still at war today to try and stop terrorism. As my principal says every morning, if you see something, say something.
