Chapter 1

In neverland, the lost boys slept and dreamed of many things in their beds, tucked away on this cool night. Beating up the pirates, playing with one another, and much more. Peter Pan, however, felt uneasy.

"I don't know why, but I can't sleep..." He thought with a sigh. He looked at the ceiling, his cap in his hand that hung lazily over the right side. He then decided to go and talk to the chieftain of the Indian tribe, which he and the lost boys called the "never tribe" since it fit. Peter put on his cap then flew to the never tribe's camp and spoke with the chieftain.

"Hello Peter." The well built man stated while raising his right hand.

"Hiya Chief." Peter smiled while raising his right hand in respect.

"What brings you here at this hour? You should be asleep." The Chief asked. Peter sighed.

"I don't know. I have a bad feeling... Like, really bad." Peter looked down slightly.

"You too?" The Chief asked plainly. Peter looked at the chief and nodded.

"Yeah. I just can't help but feel like neverland is in trouble..." Peter gulped at the thought. The Chief invited Peter into his tent to sit down. He then light a fire then threw some gold and brown sand colored powder in the middle. Smoke flew up from the fire with a FWOOSH and then crackled lightly until silence. Pictures formed in the fire. The Chief widened his eyes in shock. "What's the matter Chief?" Peter asked.

"Our hunches were correct. Neverland is in terrible danger. We are unable to stop it." The Chief looked down slightly in defeat, until another picture popped up. "What is this?" He whispered to himself as he narrowed his eyes to try and get a good reading. "What are these images trying to--" The fire grew as if angry with the situation, startling the two slightly.

"Whoa!!" Peter exclaimed as he backed away so he would not get burned. The Chief peered into the flames, but all he could see was the symbol of a silver waning crescent moon. The image changed to a silhouette of a human body, front and back, with the symbol on the forehead, tops and bottoms of the feet, tops and palms of the hands, back, and torso.

"Peter, you must find a child with these symbols." The Chief stated quickly after a long silence, realising the message he had just received.

""Right! Wait, why?"

"Because I believe the island is telling us that we need this child here if we are to save it. Go now. And take Tinkerbell with you."

"Right, I'm on it." Peter quickly flew to his tree and woke up Tinkerbell then went off to find the child that was seen in the images.

But, little did they know that they were being spied on.

"I-I better go tell the cap'n!" He stammered then ran quickly back to the ship he came from.

----------

"C-Cap'n hook, sir!" The pirate stuttered as he knocked on the captains chamber.

"What is it Smee?" A voice huffed angrily from the other side of the door.

"Cap'n hook, I think I have a plan to stop Peter Pan once and for all!" Smee called out happily. The door creaked open.

"Well? TELL ME!!!"

"Well, Peter Pan just left to get a child to help save neverland from some evil. If we get the child first, we could use it as bait!" Hook hummed as he thought it over. "Then we could use it to get whatever we want!"

"Good work smee. Do we know what the child looks like?" Hook asked.

"N-not exactly cap'n--" Hook growled. "Bu-bu-but I do know that it has silver waning crescent moon symbols on the top and bottom of both feet, top and palms of both hands, forehead, torso, and back of its body." Hook smiled and ruffled Smee's red cap.

"Boy's, set sail! We have bait to fetch!" The pirate crew immediately hoisted the anchor and flew off once Peter Pan was well out of sight so they would not cause a ruckus.

----------

It was a usual cool night in London. Everyone slept soundly in their beds, and dreamed happy dreams of cake, dinosaurs, knights, dragons, and so much more. At the local orphanage one child was still awake. A young girl, around the age of twelve yet about the height of a nine year old. She was not even dressed for bed. She bounced on her twin sized mattress with her bare feet that had silver crescent moon symbols on the top and bottom of both.

"I'm not tired so I'm not going to bed!!" She laughed.

"Kari," (Kar-ri) called a woman with blond hair and emerald green eyes. "At least keep it down so the others don't wake up." She pleaded. "I'll tell you a story if you settle down." She smiled. Kari looked at the woman with her blood red cat like eyes that shimmered like rubies.

"Really?!" She asked happily, floating up to the support beam in the center of her room. The woman chuckled. "What story miss Opal?" Kari tilted her head, causing her pure white hair to sway slightly to the right. Her hair was pulled up into a ponytail that spiked out in different directions with two smaller groups in the front tied together with silver ribbon.

"Well, what kind of story do you want?" Miss Opal asked kindly. "And get down here, no powers inside until you can control them! What would the others think if they saw you flying around or burst into flame or whatever else you can do?!"

"Oops, sorry about that." Kari giggled and hopped off of the support beam and landed like a snowflake on the floor. "How about a story with action and adventure!" Kari called, throwing her arms up diagonally, her silver crescent moon symbol on her forehead shimmered with glee, as well as the ones on her feet, palms and tops of her hands, and back and torso. The two symbols on her right hand shimmered through white bandages that were wrapped from her fingertips to her shoulder blade while the symbols on her torso and back shimmered through her clothes.

"Sure, go change and crawl into bed and I'll tell you a story." Miss Opal smiled and Kari huffed.

"But Miss Opal--"

"Oh alright. Stay in your day time cloths for now." Miss Opal chuckled and Kari smiled as she unzipped her black hoodie to show her midday blue t shirt with a silver crescent moon on the front. She then climbed into bed, making sure not to pull off her silver ninja scarf with her knees. "You Comfortable?" Miss Opal asked happily. Kari nodded with a giggle.

"Yeah." She smiled. "Oh, just a sec." Kari hopped up and walked over to the window and opened it slightly to let a breeze in. The cool breeze messed with Kari's scarf and blue jean shorts that were loose fitting and were slightly below her knees. It also messed with her army green cap and silver rimmed goggles with slightly tinted lenses that were hung up next to her silver backpack by the door. "Sorry, I was hot."

"No worries Kari. Now come here so I can tell you a story." Kari walked back to her bed and sat down happily. "Now, once upon a time, there was a young girl with gorgeous silver hair. Her hair touched up to her shoulders and her eyes shimmered like the stars and were an amazing gold color. Not only was she beautiful, but she was an elite ninja. Everyday she would go and train with her older siblings in the training hall. One day her father came and said. 'My children, today we were called upon for a challenging job.' The kids nodded. 'Father what is the job?' Asked the eldest son. The father explained to his children that they must find a sacred lantern that was stolen from their client about a month ago. But, the person who stole it was very tricky and knew that the original owner would want it back. The four siblings nodded and got ready for their search the next day after training. ---" Miss Opal kept telling the story until finally it was over. Kari was hooked the whole way through and clapped at the ending.

"Wow!!" She sighed happily.

"Now, is there a reason why you aren't dressed and ready for bed?" Miss Opal asked, raising an eyebrow with a smirk. Kari gulped.

"Well, uh, y-you see Miss Opal. I-I wanted to go for a rooftop run for a while before bed." Kari strutted. Miss Opal laughed.

"Is that all? You should have asked sooner! Go on have fun. Don't be out too long and be careful. Oh, and no--"

"And no powers, I got it. Bye." Kari grabbed her cap and goggles as well as her black slip on shoes, white socks, put them on and snatched her silver backpack that she took everywhere with her then she hopped out the window and on the neighboring rooftop with ease.

"Be careful Kari!!" Miss Opal called out as Kari turned to wave her good bye.

"I will!" Kari smiled and ran off. She hummed happily and jumped from roof top to roof top.

----------

A while later she stopped at the park not too far from the orphanage she called home. Kari smiled and played around in the light of the full moon. She giggled and took her cap and goggles off and let the breeze mess with her hair, showing her silver crescent moon. "Ah, this is an amazing night." She hummed, closing her eyes.

Suddenly, the moon light above her vanished. Kari bolted open her eyes only to see pirates sliding down ropes towards her quickly. Kari gulped, put her cap and goggles back on and flipped up the hood of her hoodie and then started to make a run for it, but by the time she snapped out of it to run she was already surrounded, grabbed by the mouth, tied up, muffled, and stuffed in a bag with her things on her back. Kari kicked and huffed and growled as the pirates brought her aboard.

"Good work men!" Hook laughed. "Now, set sail back to neverland! Hoist anchor!" Pretty soon they were flying through the air once again to the second star on the right and went straight on till morning. Kari was a little frightened as she struggled, trying to get free.

"P-please miss, don't fuss. We won't do much harm to ya if you behave." Smee stammered. But Kari refused to listen. Hook smirked evilly and went to the bag, kicked it and Kari to the side and put his foot on Kari's side.

"Now listen here child, the more you fuss the more likely you will be shark bait. And the more joy I'll get out of it!" Hook snapped. Kari froze and gulped. From then on she did not squirm or fuss. "And that, Smee, is how you make bait stop fussing."

"Good work cap'n, amazing work sir." Kari growled and huffed.

"Bait, humph. I'll show them who-- wait, bait for what?" Kari thought. "I don't like this, not one bit." Kari gulped and waited until whatever happened, happened.
