After what happened on Saturday night, I couldn't sleep properly, from the last two days. I was damn scared that he will again come in the middle of that night. Yesterday was Sunday and it was mine and Tashu's turn to go for grocery shopping but my whole mood was spoiled due to that scene.

Everyone in the house is asking me that is something wrong with me?? Anything troubling me?? But how can I tell them or anyone when I myself don't know that who is that shadow? And what does he want from me? All I know is that he's a male...

I'm surely going mad and my head is hurting me alot and I'm also seeing things. Something is definitely wrong with me, so I decided that today I'll go to the doctor for my checkup. So that at least I'll be sure that is there something wrong with me or not!!

And to go to the doctor, I'll be late for work and I've to tell my Sir and also take his permission. So before thinking anything else, I dialed his number. I waited for a good five to six ring and after that he picked up the call.

"Hello" he said in his deep husky voice as if he was sleeping. I quickly checked the time and slapped my forehead, my clock shows six a.m.

"Helloooo??" He now shouted.

"Umm..yeahh, I mean Good Morning Sir." I said quickly.

"Miss.Ahmed, Everything's fine?" He asked in serious tone and did I mention that I heard slight worry in his voice?

"Aahh..yes, No, yeah..I mean No.." I blabbered...slapping my cheeks this time. Why can't I talk straight?

"Miss.Ahmed, are you drunk?" He asked and I wanted to kick him for his stupid question.

"Drinking is haram" I said in a stern voice.

"Then why the hell did you call me this early in the morning??" He raised his voice and then and there I knew that he was now angry. I quickly did a mental note to not to call him early in the morning.
And the next thing I heard was the beep tone. He cut my call!! How dare he??

I again called him and this time before he could speak, I spoke all in one breath. "I'mgoingtothedoctortodaysoI'llbelateforworkandforthatIneededyourpermissionthat'swhyIcalledyouearlyinthemorning." I said and then inhaled and exhaled. Whoop!! It was a very long sentence.

"You're surely high on something. Look, I don't have time to listen to your blabbering" he said.

"Okay okay, I'm sorry but don't hang up, I'm tell you. Actually, I'm going to the doctor today so I'll be late for work and for that I needed your permission that's why I called you early in the morning." I said each and every clearly.

He took a deep breath "fine, but be back before lunch time ends!!" He finally said in his velvety smooth voice. Hoori get a grip on yourself, he's your boss!! My conscience scold me.

I was about to thank him but I forgot that with whom I was talking cause the person on the other side has again hang up!! I sighed and again plopped down on my bed and easily sleep took over me.

I woke up around eight and then quickly freshened up, went down, ate my breakfast then left. It's one hour journey from where I live to the hospital and I've taken the appointment of ten a.m., right now it's already eight thirty. I was lucky that I didn't had to wait for the bus that long.

I went inside the hospital and waited in the waiting area for my name to be called. Soon my name was called and I went inside.

"Good morning" I greeted.

"Very good morning" doctor greeted me.

"Doc, I think that I'm hallucinating alot" I said.

"Okay...and from when did all this started??" She asked.

"A month back"

"What exactly are you seeing?"

"Shadow"

"Details please..."

"Umm..yeah. I'm seeing a shadow, but it's always far from me so I'm not able to make out whether it's a male or female. It just stands there and stare at me, or that's what I feel. But this Saturday night something really weird happened." I said.

"What happened?"

"I was sleeping and suddenly I felt that someone was on top of me. And the next thing, I felt that he has put his hands over my eyes and mouth so that I couldn't see or shout."

"How do you know that he was "he"?"

"Because he spoke. Yes, he spoke, he said "Just remember one thing, you're mine and only mine". And the next thing I felt was a gust of cold wind"

"Hmm..I see. So Miss.Hoorain what I feel is all these things that you're seeing is just because of stress. Nothing to worry about. All you need is a good sleep and rest. But still we'll do a blood test to be sure." She said and I nodded.

She prescribed me some medicines and then I was escorted where they'll take my blood. After everything got over, I walked to my next destination.

I quickly went inside the office and immediately went up to my room but I bumped into him.
I shrieked and gasped at the same time. His eyes were wide and was looking at me with a strange expression.

"Follow me" he said and started walking. I followed him as he went inside his cabin. He sat on his chair and was looking through some files when his gaze suddenly felt to my wrist and his eyes went wide.

"What happened?" He hissed and if I'm not wrong he was also somewhat shaking in anger. Anger?? Why??
"I asked something." He bellowed and I jumped.

"I went for a blood test, but they couldn't find a vein so they tool it from here." I said softly. He closed his eyes, clenched and unclenched his fist as if trying to regain control.

"Give me those files" he said motioning towards the table that was near the window. I quickly walked towards the table and took the files in my hand when suddenly my gaze went outside the window and immediately I gasped!! That freaking shadow was standing right outside the office. I was shaking so badly.

"Miss.Ahmed are you okay??" Sir asked coming towards me. I looked at him and then again looked at the shadow, he was still there staring back at me. My lips were trembling, I wasn't able to breathe. My hands were sweating.

"Miss.Ahmed, Look at me. There's nothing over there." He kept on saying but my eyes were glued over there. May be he can't see that but I can clearly see it. And just like that night he wasn't there making me again gasp.

I quickly ran to the corner and sat on the ground, bringing my legs close to my chest and now I was rocking back and forth. My breath were coming in pants, all I could feel and see is that shadow, staring back at me. I closed my eyes but couldn't find peace.
I was continuously rocking back and forth while fidgeting with my trousers.

"Miss.Ahmed, calm down. What happened? Why are you behaving like this?" He asked again leaning down and I screamed. "Miss.Ahmed" he was now jerking me. And the next thing I knew, I buried my face in his chest as tears poured down. He became stiff.

I continued crying and he was all stiff. I felt safe in his arm and all my worried disappeared. I felt his soft skin and the gentle squeeze on my own. I bathed in his warmth and the smell of freshly laundered clothes. But soon I realized what I was doing and immediately I pulled back.

He was still shock and wide eyed from my behavior. I quickly got up and so did he. "I'm sorry" I said and quickly ran out of his cabin.
