I woke up to the sound of shuffling but I stayed still " Jon you havent brought anyone over in a while" I heard Blues voice and judging by the way the bed is shifted someone sitting on it but I didn't want to move.

She sighed heavily " I know you've been through a lot, have you even told him your name yet" she asked and I felt the bed shift I'm still not sure who it was " No" I heard a soft male voice say and I tried not to smile at the sound of his sweet voice I didn't expect that out of him.

" Well maybe you should from what I've seen he's not a bad kid hell you know we were up all night talking... you don't do that your hardly here anymore" she said and I felt my chest grow heavy so Jon is her friend or well who exactly is he and why does he live here.

There was a knock heard from downstairs " Tyler is here getting him clothes he can stay in my room tonight me and Luke can sleep on the hammock like we used to do I don't mind" she said and the weight was taken off the bed so I figured it was Blue.

" No hes fine here... he got hit pretty hard" Jon said and it made me smile a little I know this wasn't much but he went from a kid I was curious about to looking over me I don't know how long it wil last but I won't forget this time.

" Ok well um do you want to go into my room or are you ok with Tyler coming in here" she asked as I heard the bedroom door open " I'm fine in here they don't bother me" Jon said and that was a relief but I knew his mind might change in a moment.

After a few minutes I think I heard the door open then heavy weight on me making me groan out " Tyler I swear to god" I warned opening my eyes, he sat up on my stomach giving me playful eyes and a smirk " Do you like your head being on your shoulders" I said with a raised brow.

He leaned forward placing a hand on my face and looking around " Oh yeah you got a nice bruise but hey the other kid is worse what did you do" Tyler asked getting off me and sitting next to me, I leaned forward hanging my legs off the side of the bed and stretching.

I looked over meeting Jons eyes, I scratched the back of my neck " Uh I didn't touch the kid... he did" I said looking back at Jon and Tylers eyes grew wide " Damn dude you have a hit on you the kids jaw is broken" Tyler said and Jon gave a small nod before looking at the computer again.

" Not much of a talker that's ok that you for defending my brother" Tyler said placing his elbow on my shoulder " I have to pee" I said standing up but I felt dizzy " Ev..." Was all I heard before the room went black.

I blinked and looked to see Tyler holding me up and Jon giving a worried look " I'm ok just stood up to fast" I said rubbing my arm and walking out of the room " I'll be waiting oh and um hey im Tyler, Blue said dinner is ready if you want to eat" Tyler said looking at Jon.

I walked into the bathroom and noticed my sunglasses were still on I sighed in relief but took them off and stared at my eyes, the left side of my face was purple were my temple was and luckily I didn't have a black eye or I hope, at least that explains the headache I had.

I turned the water on I didn't have to pee or anything and I don't really know why I came in here but I did " What's wrong" Tyler asked leaning against the door frame staring at me " Im not sure Ty I just... earlier I freaked out on Cody and I feel bad but I feel worse strangers defended me" I said feeling tears threatening my eyes.

" Evan Cody if fine and I don't mind I was just mad earlier" I heard a voice say and I saw Tyler turn his head, I caught a quick glimpse of her walking into Jons room closing the door " Well does that make you feel better" Tyler asked looking at me.

" I'm not sure" I said staring at the mirror " Evan you don't have to feel bad and hey look at my eyes you don't need to always hid yours but I get it you told me why you do" he paused pulling me into a hug " But just know nothings wrong with you so don't ever think that way" he said rubbing my back.

" When you two are done can I talk to Evan" I heard Mana ask and Tyler let go of me, I reached over turning the water off and putting my sunglasses back on before walking past him and she motioned for me to follow.

We walked down stairs I saw Jon talking with Luke and Blue was giving me a small smile as Tyler walked over to them, we went outside and she stood on the steps while I sat down I was tired of standing already.

" Listen I got snappy earlier but that's because I hate that kid he's bullied me, Jon used to be that quiet popular kid till I came along, he stood up for me and well lost everything I know his problems and he's my best friend so I don't like seeing him get hurt" she said staring at me with a facial expression I couldn't read.

" I'm sorry I wasn't expecting it I was going to fight him on my own" I said truefully " Yeah well as you felt the guy can hit hard, Cody is not mad about you yelling he understands you were upset" she said then sat down beside me.

" Well it's official my name is Mana hello Evan, as a fare warning I get very protective and Jons the closest family I have so expect sassy moments I don't really take much to people from everything that's happened" she said and I nodded my head " Im Evan and well um Tyler's the only family I have here that kid made fun of Tyler so that's how the fight began really" I said shrugging my shoulder and she nodded.

" Oh and don't expect Jon to talk much he doesn't really talk unless he's really close with you" she said and I nodded my head looking at the door " So who is Jon I mean why does he live here" I asked hoping to get an answer " Well that's something you will have to ask them it's not my place to say" she said standing up " You need to eat you look pale" she said opening the door motioning me to walk inside.

I picked myself up off the steps and walked inside to see Jon staring at me " Hey bud I have to get home Dailly came over today to hang out" Tyler said patting my shoulder " Have fun" I said in a playful tone teasing him like he does me.

He rolled his eyes " Love you and if you want skip school tomorrow I got chu" he said walking out the door, I shook my head at him and sat next to Blue.

" Ouch does it hurt" Blue said running a finger over my bruise " No I just have a killer headache this isn't the worse ive been through" I said looking at her seeing he looked sad " You can surly take a hit ill tell you that" Luke said eating some steak.

" Yeah oh and I'm not hungry" I said pushing the plate away getting a death stare from Mana " Ok hun I'll make you tea" Blue said standing up and starting the water " You can go lay down if you would like to I'll bring it to you" she said with a raised brow " No I can wait you don't need to do that for me" I said waving a hand staring at my hands while memories flooded back into my mind.
