We were walking through a field the queen helped me learn how to draw symbols on the armor to help give it some light without draining me of my powers while making them since the more I use the stronger they are it was just enough to give light ahead of them.

There was a large group of us we were going to push the south attatcking the back of the shadows since it was least worked on and they shouldn’t be expecting it, Ryan was right against my shoulder so if need be our backs are closer together to help us fight and be protected.

A few rushed us and we took them out without causing a ton of attention I looked around at our group and thought to myself I have to keep them safe and survive at the same time I wasn’t sure how I was going to do that but damn well better try.

We heard a yell so we turned seeing a shadow rush one of the guys so we all were ready until a scream came behind us and as I turned I watched everyone getting surrounded they had found us " LET'S GO" on of the men screamed running at them.

I took a deep breath and started running with Ryan next to me we sung in sync taking out a large group of them before more started flooding us I gave him a quick look which he did to me before we turned and started getting ready for a long fight.

Countless bodies killed and I was growing tired yet they haven't let up one bit I was concerned at their numbers since three of our men died it wasn’t much but compared to them it was a lot, I ran forward breathing heavy as I swung killing two more before I was tackled onto my side.

My sword was knocked out of my hand while I held its face I think away from me as it was trying to cast smoke over my body we learned that when they do that their flooding your mind with images making you weak so they can trap your soul.

I felt it crawling over my face as I used what strength I had pushing against it till I heard a swish sound and looking up it vanished as Ryan stood their bloody and breathing heavy as he stuck and arm down I took it letting him help me up to my feet fast and handing me my sword once again.

" You’re a fucking idiot Evan" I heard Tyler's voice ring out saddly I turned looking around not seeing him anywhere yet I could feel him a pain came over my head as Ryan placed a hand on my shoulder while it grew worse.

" E.... You.......EV" I could barely hear the words he was screaming in my face as the sound of tear drops hitting the ground rung through my ears I watched the world flashing around me as Ryan dragged me through the woods fighting off shadows best he could.

" Come back to me" I heard Jons voice and to the noise causing me more pain I tried shutting them out but I just couldn’t the more I tried forcing my mind clear the more thoughts rushed through my mind.

" EVAN" I heard Ryan scream as he smacked me across the face I watched the world shaking around me while he stood over me bloody " O-Ohm" I spoke out weakly watching him kneel over my body smirking at me.

I gasp and crawled away from him as he stood there looking at me his body twitched between himself and a bloodied creature it scared me " Calm" I heard Jack's voice and I closed my eyes tightly I couldn’t handle what was going on.

I screamed out in pain looking around me as the world started to slow still shaking I watched Ryan walking towards me with his sword on the ground the shadows were running past him completely ignoring the fact we were here.

I looked around for my sword which was to far away for me to grab that’s when my eyes saw a shadow in the distance the one I used to see I watched it feeling as if I should follow while I walked away from me.

I pushed off the ground running towards the shadow but no matter how fast my feet were going I stayed the same distance away not getting any close as I dodged a few shadows that came at me while keeping that figure in my sights.

Soon it stopped as I rushed towards it falling to the ground while everything started shaking violently around me I looked up at the figure turning to walk towards me as more pain flooded my head causing me to scream out once more.

It kneeled in front of me and I wanted so badly to reach out forwards to it but instead I watched it tilt its head slightly " H-Help" I whispered out watching it stand and walk away from me I feel to the ground with a hand reached out towards it " No" I whispered loudly.

It stopped and started shaking as I felt myself losing consciousness, it turned towards me and time froze for a second while I watched the black melt from its body revealing a burned body rushing towards me.

I gasp at first watching helplessly as it ran towards me screaming out so horridly then Ryan came into view slowly walking into the light staring down with large sharp teeth in the form of a grin at me.

The figure turned to smoke as I felt a wave of air flood my body and my lungs were being squeezed as I screamed the last amount of air from them and my body cracked letting the light leak from my body I was so scared yet accepted the fact rolling onto my back " Jon" I whispered watching the worlds blackness swirling down towards my body while I laid still hopeless.
