My eyes fluttered open to my phone vibrating I yawned squinting my eyes at it seeing a text from Jack which made me sigh I looked around seeing it was night time and Jon was asleep holding me so I wiggled out of his arms and got dressed in some of my clothes that were left here.

I walked back over placing a hand on his cheek holding him as a tear threatened my eyes that I blinked away I leaned down kissing his forhead " I love you too" I whispered leaning back covering him up fully then walking to his door getting one last look at him before walking out shutting it.

" Evan" Jack said walking up to me pulling me into a hug " Hey" I said as he let go of me and pushed me back with his hands on my shoulders " Are you sure about this" he said and I nodded my head watching him wave his hand rounding the group up and we entered the woods.

" You know what to do" he said once we saw shadows appearing near us " OHM" I yelled out watching him appear next to me the guys got on edge but I held a hand up " I need help here" I said grabbing his hand watching him form back into a human he looked worse this time his face is almost so blurry you can't even see him.

He pulled me behind him while I held my hand in the air emitting light that kept the shadows off some tried testing me but I grew it brighter " Stay close" Ohm said turning towards us then leading the way the air was so dense it felt like I weighted a ton and my lungs were being squeezed.

The light started to die down and the shadows rushed us " FOCUS" Ohm yelled grabbing my face blowing on me as I took a deep breath and grew the light back to its strong pulse.

" We're almost there" Jack said behind us as if he was struggling to breath and I know exactly how he feels the guys looked back but they were strong, we kept walking and I couldn’t see anything due to the world being fully black around us I could hear the cries starting.

They got louder and I started to lose balance " Come on" Ohm said taking me in his arms while I held my hand out keeping them off but I was in pain the cries echoed through my ears and it hurt so bad but Ohm was pushing as fast as he could due to the others being weak as well.

It took so long in the forest and soon I saw a familiar figure it was walking right outside the light careful not to get to close I could feel it sad and it felt like it was calling out to me " Ignore it Evan" Ohm whispered but I couldn't I was lost staring at a figure I so desperately wanted to know about.

" EVAN" I heard Ohm yell and when I blinked I saw the shadows were closing in on us so I pushed my hand forward forcing a pulse of light to shatter through the woods, a few people gasp and some almost screamed once we saw the thousands of shadows around us " Keep moving" Ohm said dragging me with him as we picked up pace.

Right when I feel to the ground we emerged into a dim lite area it looked like an overgrown open garden where the middle held a large table holding markings through the stones " Were here" Jack and Ohm said in sync " You can hold form here" Jack said walking over taking me from Ohm where he helped me stand.

The place felt so eerie and cold I heard faint whispers so I looked around not seeing anyone  " I hear them" I said looking towards the mix of black and gold flowers growing from the ground " I need you to focus on me Evan" Jack said and I nodded doing my best.

I watched the guys walk around getting into places and setting things up they held potions, candles, torches and many other old things that made this place pulse with light and soon the air felt lighter " Evan" I heard an eerie echoed voice say so I turned my head towards it seeing that figure again reaching his hand out towards me.

I started walking towards it till I saw Ohm standing in front of me " No" he said pushing me away but I looked over his shoulder feeling its pain as its hand stayed outstretched towards me in a desperate attempt to feel.

" Alright everyone in place" Jack said and I watched the group walk around grabbing different things, some held candles in certain places while others splashed and poured potions all over the ground sending a green electric light through the ground while the more they did it the faster it blinked.

" Are you sure about this Evan the war can go longer" Jack said placing a hand on my shoulder " I'm sure Jack" I said feeling the sting at my eyes soon getting Jacks hand on my face " Evan you can't feel you need to be clear minded and calm" he said pulling me in for a hug.

" Ok" I whispered clearing my head focusing on the ground around me it was now steady light up with small strands pulsing through the ground.

Jack walked over to the table placing his hands on them while his eyes flashed bright green and he started speaking in tongues or to me it sounded like that Mark was off watching carefully he was to watch over us incase something went wrong.

" You going to be ok" Ohm asked standing next to me " Yes but I'm coming for you I need your help" I said watching him look at me carefully " Evan you know how I am" he said looking away guilty " I know" I said placing a hand on his shoulder " But I need you and I can help you control yourself as long as you stay near me" I said watching him nod unsurly at me.

" Evan" Jack said turning around his voice sounded like multiple people were talking at once while his hand was outstretched " I will be here" Ohm said watching me walk slowly over to Jack as I placed my hand in his.

He lead me onto the table where I laid down and he splashed liquid over me chanting things once he was done he grabbed dirt drawing ruins on my body similar to that of the tables it sent a chill over my body then I felt it burning.

I looked down seeing the ruins start to glow and pulse on my skin Jack helped me off the table and I watched the world around me blinking in and out of time as if I was seeing slight moments of the old time before this forest was cursed.

" Evan" Jack asked standing in front of me " Yes" I replied formally " Do you swear your purity" he said circling me now but I kept my eyes forward " Yes I am pure" I said feeling him drag a finger around my body.

" EVAN" I heard someone scream and soon Jon came bursting out of the darkness to which Mark and Ohm held him back he looked shocked as I saw tears running down his face then a sharp pain came to my head and the world started to get staticy " EVAN CALM YOURSELF" Ohm screamed at me.

I took a deep breath clearing my mind as I stared at Jon fighting to get lose but he couldn’t he looked so broken right now " Evan" Jack said beside me and I looked turning my head towards him seeing a beautiful woman standing next to me.

" Do you give your body to the protectors to fight and serve this war. To fight till your last breath and help stop the evil that runs in these woods" she said staring into my soul I could feel her energy " Yes" I said kneeling to the ground looking forward seeing Jon on his knees screaming at me.

" Goddess's I give you a pure soul. A soul to fight alongside you. One to give hope and strength to you" Jack yelled out and everything slowed as I felt his hand on my shoulder Jon was a mess screaming at me " NOO" but I took a breath blinking calming seeing Ohm staring at me encouragingly.

Soon a cold metal came over my neck as Jack started talking in tongues again then a pinch came and I started feeling tired as warm liquids ran down my throat " EVAN" I heard Jon scream out as the world started flashing and spinning.

I started falling slowly watching Jon fighting so hard to get lose he was desperately trying to throw his body at me and before my eyes shut I gave one last smile towards him then black came and I felt the cold earth pulsing under me as I felt a warm breeze flowing over my body as if sheltering me in a cocoon then everything stopped and I took in my last breath.
