" I never see you here" Brock said standing next to me as I looked around " What you looking for" he asked watching me frantically look over the books " Um well I'm a mythology guy and I heard there was a book in here about it" I said lying and hoping there actually was.

" Your In the wrong area" he said and motioned me to follow so I did " What type" Brock said showing me a whole row of books " Um well I thought creatures where cool I love hearing about myths like that" I said and saw him tense up but point to the books " Thanks" I said and he nodded walking away from me quickly it was strange but I don't care.

I grabbed the book and sat down for hours looking over each page and reading trying to find what I was looking for, I stopped when I read about burns I thought it was hopeless clues again but it wasn't.

' Anyone who looks into the eyes of this beast dies immediately but in more powerful cases the serpent my have the ability to control your mind and alter your thoughts most cases of this happening the person does not remember what happened when their mind was invaded, when this creature moves its unheard do to stealth which was used when hunting its prey as a silent killer most don't even know it's there even after death due to its extreme speed.

It's touch and even breath can scorch anything it touches, so powerful it can burst rocks. Its venom can be left behind for days and once touched can kill or paralyze a man but only few can posses this power many have different abilities such as one may have venom and the other may have scorching they may not posses both unless from a pure blood line strong enough to handle it.'

I slammed the book shut and backed away from it this can't be real he's human... right?

I was walking home from school I lied and said I've been with Jack since Tyler saw me walk with them before and luckily Dailly hasn't said anything about the other day, ive been ignoring and avoid Jon and the rest the more im around them the more I want to tell them.

My heart was racing as fast as my mind was while it tried to process what I read earlier, creatures can't be real but how else does Ohm make since.

I growned in pain and looked to my side seeing Jon, Mana and Dailly all walking down the sidewalk I wanted to go over to them " Don't think about it Evan you know that's not aloud" I heard Ohms voice in a small whisper like the wind.

Jon looked over at me just staring and I was getting more nervous " HEY EVAN" Dailly yelled running over to me with the rest following me, she hugged me " Feeling better" she said and I nodded my head.

" She has always been so shy" I heard Ohms voice say and I got nervous " Hey I have to go" I said rubbing my arm, Jon has been acting harshly towards me this past week he hasn't looked at me or said anything and he sits away from me, Mana has just been watching me like she normally does.

" Can't you stay with us it's been so long and your never home" she said and I saw Jon glaring at me " Sorry I told them I would help and I'm late I'll see you soon" I said turning and walking away before anything else was brought up.

" Their catching onto you" I heard Ohms voice snickering out and it pissed me off because I know they are.

I was sitting on Ohms couch as he walked back out with a smirk on his lips " Take them off" he said and I tensed up " Did you not hear me" he said getting close to my face and I stood still then I felt the sting come because he slapped me across the face knocking my glasses off.

" When I tell you something you do it" he hisses in my face placing his hand on my stomach making me yell in pain as he burned my skin " Oh it's a shame those can't be other screams" he said seductively climbing onto my lap making me feel sick.

" Look at me" me said making me face him heating his hand up forcing my eyes open and I was met with red ones " Why are you holding back so much" he said tilting his head " Because I don't want you" I said harshly and he frowned.

" But Evan I can make you strong with me you'll never have to worry" he said and I felt my heart race " No ill be in constant fear of pissing you off" I said and he grabbed my arms forcing me to lay down as he crawl on top of me and got close to my face.

" Im pissed because you don't even know anything, you resist me but you haven't run away screaming your staying strong to my face and if you didn't want this why be here" he said with a smirk and I huffed my chest in anger " You know why im here" I said seeing him break into laughter.

" Ops forgot about that little threat" he said running a finger down my body burning a line, I tensed my jaw holding back from the pain he was causing me when my phone rang and then a text came in from Tyler telling me to get my ass home.

" You don't want them to come looking for me or me to be watched all the time do you" I said while Ohm attacked my neck after reading the messages " That would put a dilemma in whatever this is" I said trying to break through to him.

He sighed and sat up " Fine" he hissed out getting off of me " But same thing tell a soul or show anyone those burns ill find your friends myself" he said walking away, I took a deep breath and calmly walked out until he couldn't see me and I ran.

I didn't bother talking to Tyler I went straight to the shower looking myself over there was no marks on my neck but my chest... there was old burns and new ones, some were worse than others.

I read what Ohm was and if that's even possibly true then I have no hope I don't know anything that could help me or then and im still not sure if that's even possible, yet all the evidence that it is... is on my body.

I sighed stripping my clothes off stepping into the shower I felt disgusting but the fear for my friends is far worse then my fear for him myself I'd rather stay quiet and keep everyone safe while Ohm... touches me, luckily he hasn't forced me further... yet.
