Hyunjin was outside and leaning on the railing of the veranda, deep in his thoughts and looking down to the lake.
The small waves had a hypnotic effect and he thinks about the first time he saw Kimi.

It was not that long ago right here on the other side of the house, but it feels like years.
There was something about her, that he couldn't pintpoint. Something in the way she walks, the way she talks, damn in her whole personality, that pushes the right buttons inside of him.
And since the transformation it's getting worse.
He had the impulse to protect her, be with her all the time.
That she is now upstairs alone with Namjoon and Chan is driving him crazy.
It is like every cell in his body is magnetically drawn there.
With a growl he pushes himself away from the railing and turned around.

"Hey, I suggested to find you here. Don't do it, Jinny!"
"I don't know what you try to say."
"I know what's happening with you. I know this feeling to protect your pack, especially the alpha."
"I don't think so!"
"yeah, okay - maybe I don't know exactly how you feel, but think about it: you can't burst into this room and disturb the leader. Please Hyunjin, don't be that silly." JK grabs him by his shoulders.
Hyunjin takes a deep breath and then another one. And the urge of protecting isn't that strong anymore that he couldn't think straight.
"Holy shit, kookie! Man, what have I almost done!? Just imagine: me running into that room with froth at the mouth just like a rabid beast." they looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"Welcome to the club." JK says. "never thought that I will ever say this to you. How do you feel?"
"I really don't know. It's all confusing. It's like my feelings running wild and try to get control. And even if I don't want to run to her immediately, I still don't know, why she has to do that leaders stuff. Sometimes they are so annoying mysterious - dissappear, doing some magic or the devil knows what."
"mhm. I know what you mean... And even she isn't a leader anymore. Didn't you hear what Joon said? She still has the aura. Maybe it's because she is your leader, your alpha in her wolf shape."
Hyunjin looked at JK with a silly grin.
"Oh, you are such a smart boy. Good boy kookie."
"Haha, dumbass! Very not funny."
But he laughed with him, not knowing how the night will ends.
