XG 139 - Oh, I want to smack it

Kang Xunsu watched Wong Xue Guo and Chen Yibo leaving together, likely to hole in her room and complain to Chen Yibo. Feeling a little lonely that the little princess no longer sought him out to talk, he grabbed L.L to accompany him.

Fighting off the sappy feeling rising like a tide in her heart, she said, "Cute is not something those bad guys will be afraid of. It's useless."

"Maybe the Lord's ability is light or something connected to it?" Chen Yibo guessed and stared at the twisting shadow from Wong Xue Guo's scolding.

She snorted. "If that's the Lord's ability, I will really think it's a cult group. It will be the more extreme version and Woojin's church could not compare to it."

"Yes. It's also strange why the Lord would stay in the Erigeron, where it's winter all year round." Not only was it winter, but that place was so cold that they could also build an igloo there.

Chen Yibo's phone which was resting on the couch vibrated from an incoming video call. After seeing it was Chen Jiang An, Wong Xue Guo's curiosity dropped a notch.

"Oh? Geum's base secured the communication line strong enough for video calls?" She had only known that the communication line was fixed, hence the occasional phone calls between the cousins.

"They had it fixed a few days ago, but the line is not as fast as it used to be when it comes to video call."

Seeing that she does not mind it, he accepted the video call. She also sat a bit closer so that she could look at the screen, but not so close that she could be seen by the camera.

"Yibo!" Chen Jiang An's cheerful greeting blared from the speaker.

Plus, their base was filled with plenty of influential groups with their own goals, hence not every party was in a good relationship. There were already some internal fighting cases, which had Chen Jiang An rolling his eyes as he told everything to Chen Yibo.

Thanks to the intel, Musihada was not that enthusiastic to work with their base, especially with some parties' greedy demands. Musihada only spoke of cooperation because of the Chen family, who they could trust from Director Chen's vouching.

Musihada Laboratory does not lack fighters, but their security guards were still much lacking compared to real soldiers that had experienced war.

"I really regret not following you." Chen Jiang An had mentioned many times that he regretted not following his cousin to Crocus country even if his family was in Geum country. He was captivated by the idea of the supernatural ability and wanted to see if he could get one too.

Wong Xue Guo silently sneered. Heh, if Chen Jiang An really dislikes Geum, he could get his entire family to fly to Crocus! They are welcomed anytime! Who would not want more useful troops?
