Lilly and Kansan were walking along the sidewalk back to Lilly's house, as they would pass people they would give Kansan strange looks because of this Kansan started to feel uncomfortable. Lilly noticed Kansan hiding face with his fedora avoiding eye contact with the other people.

"Kansan, is something bothering you?" Lilly asked as she looked at him.

"I'm just not comfortable with people staring at me." Kansan responded looking at the ground.

"You don't like attention?" She asked moving Kansan's fedora from his face so she could look at him in the eyes.

"You could say that." He said looking back at her.

"Hmm....I know a place where nobody goes, come with me." She said happily and grabbed Kansans hand and started pulling him as she ran.

"Enough with the pulling!" Kansan yelled but Lilly ignored him. Lilly was excited to show Kansan the place she was talking about. They ran and ran until they arrived at an abandoned building on the outskirts of town. The building was an old temple that looked like it was about to fall apart. Lilly walked up the cracked stone stairs covered in moss up to a giant broken wood door, she looked at Kansan and nodded her head telling him to come inside. Kansan started walking up the stairs when he noticed a symbol on the broken door, it looked like an animal of some sort.

He entered the temple and found Lilly sitting on a rock in an open area with four huge trees around it with the sun light shining on the rock.

"How long have you been coming here?" Kansan asked as he walked up to the rock.

"A long time, ever since I was little." Lilly answered as she started at the trees above her.

"Why do you come here?" He asked as he climbed onto the rock.

"Whenever I feel sad, this place is peaceful." She answered as the wind blew through her soft hair. Kansan sat down next to her.

"When does this sad feeling come?" Kansan asked worried about her.

"Whenever I think about my brother, he was only a few months old when he was stolen by demonic creatures. I was there, I saw the whole thing but I didn't do anything to save him. I just wish I could have done something." Lilly said clenching her fists

"I'm sorry that happened, what was your brothers name?" Kansan questioned.

"His name was Kansan, Kansan Gura." Lilly responded. Kansan was shocked and he fell off the rock when she said that. Lilly gasped and jumped off the rock.

"Shadow are you hurt?" Lilly asked worried.

"No, I'm fine." He responded nervously laughing.

"Why did you fall off?" She questioned as she helped him up.

"Uh....I saw something move in the shadows on the other side of the rock." He responded. They both slowly pecked over the rock and watched the area see if anything moved. Suddenly a swift shadow figure pasted by, neither of them saw what it was. Kansan was just relived that his lie turned into a truth. Lilly quickly hid behind the rock as Kansan did the same.

"What was that Shadow?" Lilly asked scared.

"I have no idea, but we should probably leave before we find out." Kansan whispered. Lilly nodded and they both quietly started sneaking to the exit of the temple, as they approached the broken door Kansan noticed a tiny glowing red circle at the end of the hall way. As he stared at it, it quickly started approaching him. Kansan instantly pushed Lilly away as the figure tackled Kansan, Lilly was outside the temple but she ran back inside to see a fox like creature walking on all fours around Kansan.

"Why are you in my temple?" The creature asked ready to attack Kansan again

"Your temple? Who are you creature?" Kansan asked ready to pull out his gun. The creature stood up on two feet and walked out of the shadows reveling himself.

"My names Takeo and this temple belongs to the Shadow Fox." Takeo announced pulling out his dragon katana. Kansan quickly fired three shots at him, only for the bullets to be reflected by the sword. Kansan was shocked, that was impossible. Takeo sprinted at him and sliced down, Kansan blocked it with his gun and jumped back to avoid Takeo other slices. Kansan put his gun away and created a shadow dagger to fight Takeo. Takeo sprinted at him again and started attacking, Kansan was blocking the katana strikes with the dagger. Kansan created another dagger and threw it at Takeo stabbing him in the side, Takeo pulled the dagger out and placed a hand on the injured spot. Kansan quickly threw his other dagger at Takeos leg and pulled out his gun. When the dagger struck Takeo leg he dropped his katana and fell to one knee. Kansan then pointed his gun at him. Takeo stood back up and stared at him, Kansan was about to shoot when Takeo started laughing hysterically. Kansan was confused at why, when Lilly came into the room laughing as well.

"Uh....whats going on?" Kansan asked confused as he put his gun away.

"Shadow everything is fine, Takeo has been my friend since I was little." Lilly said as she stood next to Takeo.

"Indeed I have, Lilly wanted me to meet you." Takeo said patting Lilly's head.

"Wait how? I've been with Lilly all day, other then her being in school." Kansan said still confused.

"She texted me through uh.....what's this thing called again Lilly?" Takeo asked pulling out a phone and looking at Lilly.

"Its called a phone Takeo, now keep that word in your head." Lilly giggled as she poked Takeos head.

"I shall try." Takeo laughed

"But when did you....text....him?" Kansan asked Lilly.

"I was still in school when I did." Lilly answered.

"You should return home Lilly, It is getting dark." Takeo informed

"Oh yes, lets go Shadow." Lilly said grabbing his hand again and pulled him out of the temple, Kansan was still very confused at what just happened.
