"My soon to be parapatai" she says with a smile

Suddenly without warning the door burst open. Both me and Izzy look to see who it is. There Trinity stands in a sports bra and shorts. She doesn't seem to realize I'm in the room yet.

"Izzy we have big problems and I mean big" she says panicked

Then she finally noticed me and she stands frozen.

"Oh I'm sorry Alec I didn't know you were in here" she says

"I was just leaving" I say

"Oh ok" she says softly

I walked up to her and lean down to whisper in her ear.

"Might want to put a shirt on next time"
I smirk

She gasps and covers her chest causing me to chuckle and leave with a smile on my face too.

Trinitys POV

"Okay so what's the big problem?" Izzy asks

"Okay so a guy asked me out and I have nothing to wear" I panicked

"What happened to what we talked about earlier?" She asked with a concerned look

"It's all in the past, I have other fish in the sea of mundanes and shadow people, maybe even downworlders" I smirk

She grabs my hand and sits me down with a stern look in her eyes.

"Trinity that's not what we talked about" she said

"He's older than me, I'm younger and like a sister to him, plus he'd never pick me over my own brother, so back to the date I mentioned" I said

Izzy's POV

I'm really beginning to worry about her and that dream state. She's taken it very harshly and won't realize it. I think whatever she saw, like really saw in that dream state. She's putting on a brave face and is very much ignoring it. I can feel her pain hell I can see it. I helped her anyway, because I don't want to push it. I don't like when we fight especially because it's not often.

So I helped her get ready for whatever she had planned. Especially because tonight would be our ceremony. The ceremony that will bind us together forever. Our parapatai bond ceremony and I'm excited.

"When is this date?" I asked

"Tomorrow, but don't worry tonight is our special day and that's what matters we can find an outfit later" she says with excitement

Trinitys POV

"Why don't you seem as excited as me?" I ask softly

Does she no longer want to be my parapatai?

"No I'm excited I promise" she says

"Your having second thoughts aren't you?" I whispered hurt laced in my voice

"Not at all I'm just lost in thought I promise" she soothes

I can't understand why she seemed to be lying to me.

"Iz I know when your lying even without the bond" I say and get up quickly

"Trinity, Trinity wait" she calls after me as I rush out of the room

I rushed to my room grabbed a shirt and ran out. I ignored her calling after me and I spun around harshly.

"If you didn't want to be my parapatai then you should have told me sooner" I yelled in front of the entire institute and ran out

I ran and ran, I didn't have my stele and I just realized it.

"Emotions cloud your judgment" a voice said

"Why won't you leave me alone" i hissed

"You think your going crazy but your not Trinity, your simply reminding yourself that I'm right and you need to forget your feelings, go out, go have fun and let lose, don't feel and just be free" he taunted

"No" i hissed

"Come on it will be fun you know it" he said

I somehow found myself outside of the night walkers club aka the pandemonium. It was night walkers time so it was filled with them inside. I didn't want this, but deep down I think I did. I walked inside and hid my emotions like I always did more so how I was taught to. Tonight would be about me and only me. Forget jace, forget Alec, and most of all forget the girl I wanted to have a parapatai bond with.

I took a seat at the soft velvet couch and sigh. Suddenly someone sat down next to me. A very handsome and interesting looking person. He held out a drink for me, I raised a brow.

"If I take a sip and prove its not spiked will you take it?" He asked

"Maybe" I smirked

He took a sip and smiled right back at me. I shrugged my shoulders and took the drink.

"What's a lovely lady like you doing here alone?" He asked

He's a vampire I can tell, but should I be here.

"Don't try your mind games on me vamp" I smirked

"Ahh shadowhunter you mistake me for someone who was trying to play mind games" he said

"What's your name?" I asked

"Raphael" he said

"I'm Trinity and if this is how tonight is gonna go, then take me on the ride" I smirked

"Sure thing sweetheart" he smirked

Izzy's POV

"Iz what did you say to her?" Jace asks

"I was lost in thought and I wasn't too focused on tonight and she noticed, I tried to lie and she took that as me saying I don't want to be her parapatai" I whined as I paced

"Izzy look at me" jace says

"I can't find her" Alec rushes into the room

"Oh man I really screwed up" I panic

"Bigger problem she doesn't have her stele" Alec says

"What?" Jace snaps

"Oh no what have I done" I cried

"Iz we will find her" Alec says

"What if she gets hurt in the process Huh alec, that's on me, I was so caught up in my own thoughts I didn't share my excitement with her and now she thinks I want to back out of the ceremony" I cried

"Iz we are going to find her and you can tell her everything okay" he says and pulls me into his arms

"Guys" some person says knocking on the door

"What?" Jace asks

"You have a visitor" she says

I rush out of the room and see none other than Magnus bane. He looks panicked and very nervous about something.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"It's Trinity" Magnus says

"What happened?" Me, Alec and Jace say at the same time

"She's at a night walker club with a vampire" Magnus says

"What" we all say shocked

"She's hurt, whatever one of you did, she's hurt and masking the pain" he says
