"Trinity, Trinity where are you going" jace said

"I'll be back" I said and rushed out of the institute

I felt someone grab my hand and by the feeling it was Izzy. I wanted to snap at her and push her away. I wanted to tell her to let go of me so I could run. I tend to run from my feelings it's always been a habit of mine. Running from my troubles and not sharing them. Letting them build up until they explode.

"Where are you going?" She asked

"Don't worry" I said with no emotions

"What happened to you something's wrong?" She asked worried

"Emotions cloud our judgment" i say and left quickly

I walked up to the door and knocked on it. When the door opened the person looked shocked.

"Magnus" I said

At the institute

Izzy's POV

"Where did she go?" Jace asks

"All she says was emotions cloud our judgment and left" I said

"That's something our father always told us" jace said

"Is she going to be okay?" I asked

"When it comes to things our father would tell us, I don't know Iz" he says

"I should have gone after her" I said

"We can always track her Izzy" Alec says

"Right yeah let's do that" I say

Trinitys POV

"What are you here for?" Magnus asked

"I had this weird dream, but it wasn't a dream it felt so real and just look in my head and tell me what it was" I say and sit down on his couch

"Okay, but I don't know how much this will help" he says

"Magnus it felt like, the person told me something my father always said, it felt wrong and it felt, I felt weak and I don't like that feeling" I said

"Okay let me see" he says

After a few minutes he backed away and looked like he was thinking. It also appeared he knew exactly what had happened.

"What is it Magnus?" I ask

"I think you know the answer to that" he says

"A warlock" I said

"Trinity" he said softly

"Magnus i" I didn't know what to say

"Feelings don't cloud your judgment, what you feel for Alexander should not be pushed down, don't miss an opportunity because you were raised to not feel at all, don't let what that dream state said effect the way you act, the way you are, who you are" he said

"Magnus what if they are right?" I ask

"What do you mean?" He asks

"That Alec would never chose me over his parapatai, over my brother" I said

"Love works in mysterious ways and makes us do crazy things, follow your heart and your instincts, now go home" he says

"Thank you Magnus" I said

"Don't make this a habit" he said

Back at the institute

Trinitys POV

I walked inside and Izzy rushed over and hugged me.

"I'm okay izzy" I said

"Why won't you talk to me?" She said

"Let's go to my room hmmm" I said

She nodded and grabbed my hand, I didn't look at Alec as we passed. Once we were in my room I went straight for my bed. I hugged the sheets and just lied there. Izzy lied down and looked at me, it was a thing we did. It was how we knew one of us was upset. She grabbed my hand and smiled softly.

"He'll never chose me over jace" I said softly

"Why do you say that?" She asked

"When I was out I was in a dream state" I said

"It's ok you can tell me" she said

"I was in a room, Alec and Jace were arguing and Jace said something but they couldn't hear me, someone grabbed my throat and held a knife to my stomach but I couldn't see who it was, they said the same thing my father would tell me and Jace" I said

"Emotions cloud your judgment" she said

"Yes, and they said that he would never chose me over his parapatai, and basically that I wasn't worth it, i'll always be second for everyone never the first choice" I said

"That's not true, and if my brother can't realize how amazing you are and how much he truly cares for you then that's his loss" she says

"Thanks iz" I said

"Anytime" she says

Alec's POV

Why didn't she make eye contact with me. She just ignored my existence. I don't know why it hurts so much but it does. Growing up it wasn't that noticeable. The feelings that is, it grew stronger as I got older. Being her brothers parapatai is difficult. Why because I can't express my feeling about her to him.

Not only would he find that weird to talk about his sister like that. He would also most definitely go into over protective brother mode. So
That would definitely not be a good thing. I could always talk to Izzy she is her soon to be parapatai. Would that be weird talking to my sister about my feelings for her soon to be parapatai.

My parapatai younger sister, it has to be weird right. I went to knock on my sisters door but stopped when I felt someone behind me.

"Alec" she said sounding surprised

"Can I speak with you alone?" I asked

"Sure" she said and opened her door with her stele

We walked into the room and she shut the door behind me. I sat on the edge of her bed thinking. Maybe this is a mistake, maybe it will be weird.

"What's got you thinking so hard?" She asked

"Actually I changed my mind, I'm just gonna" before I finished she grabbed my arm

"Sit and talk big bro" she said

"Promise you won't feel weird about it" I said

"It's about my soon to be parapatai isn't it?" She asked

"How did you know?" I asked

"I'm not blind" she says

"So can you help me?" I asked

"What exactly would you like help with?" She asked

"I can't talk to jace about my feelings I mean this is his little sister after all" I say

"And your worried he won't accept it?" She asks

"I'm worried he will be mad" I say

"Follow your heart and your instincts Alec, emotions don't cloud our judgment they make us stronger" she says

"And who taught you that?" I ask
