The Frontier... a place that I wanted to protect my whole life. A place where battles were waged between men and women, the IMC and Militia, and Titans and Pilots. Once I found out what the IMC were doing when I was about sixteen, I wanted to join the Militia. However, I was a little young. So, I waited and when I was nineteen... I finally joined.

    I walked up to the enlistment desk and filled out a form. "Excuse me, but aren't you a bit young to join the Militia as a Pilot?" a woman asked. I looked over and shook my head a little. "I'm nineteen, and I've been training for around three years." I told her. "Well then, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Commander Sarah Briggs." she stated as she held out a hand for me to shake. My eyes widened as I looked at my new boss. "I'm Carter. Carter Zenix." I said with a smile as I shook her hand. "Well, good to have you here with us. You're fighting for the good guys." she said before patting my shoulder and walking off. I smiled like an idiot before handing in my form. The person behind the desk looked it over and then stamped it, meaning I was qualified.

    After a couple hours Sarah had gotten me suited up and ready for Titan training. Sarah then led me to a bunch of Titans that were available. I stopped as I looked at a black Ronin titan. "Which is that one?" I asked. Sarah looked at the Titan. "Ah, that's BE-1782. No one's really been able to pilot her. Not since her last Pilot died." she stated. I stared intently at the Titan and it's eye started to glow. I heard Sarah gasp softly beside me. "No way..." she said. The Titan then slowly stood up on it's feet. "Have you come to try and be my Pilot?" BE-1782 asked. I then stepped forwards and took off my helmet before nodding in determination. "Yes, I have." I said as I planted my feet on the ground. "You seem to have conviction in your voice. Something that the others did not have." BE said. "Well, guess they didn't try hard enough either." I stated with a slight smirk on my face. "So, shall we see what you've got?" she asked. "Alright. Let's do this." I stated as I nodded once more.
