Bella

It's been two days since the parking lot incident, I have seen the blue eyed stranger while passing here and there around the hall, we would lock eyes with each other, but I quickly avert them because it feels like he can read every passing thought in my mind.

I have also noticed him in my Chem class, he always sits in the back and sometimes during the class I feel like he is staring at me because I have noticed everytime he looks at me, the hair on the nape of my neck rises and shivers ran down on my spine.

Jake also has started to losen up, now he doesn't escort me to class everytime, but he still throw daggers at everyone who looks in my direction when he is with me.

Today, as I entered in my Chem class, I felt eyes on me, I looked in the back of the class and my eyes locked with blue eyes, same eyes who has been haunting me in my dreams from two days, I immediately looked down, as I knew my face was looking like a tomato right now, my breathing was ragged just by looking at him. I sighed, I don't know why I feel like this everytime I see him, I don't even know his name.

After some time Professor entered in class and put some binders on a table with a loud thud. "Good Morning Class, it's time for your first assignment as tomorrow is your first weekend and I want this completed on Monday. I won't be hearing any excuses because it's marks will be added in your final exam results, now I will announce the name of the pairs who will be doing the assignments together and will remain paired till the rest of semester, so I am announcing the names and you will be sitting with your partner the whole semester."

"Blake Lawson and Ryan Landon, Jacob Sinclair and Lily Monroe, Max Cambel and Emily Black..." he continued as everyone started sitting with their partners, there was commotion in the whole class.

My head turned in Professor's direction when I heard "Bella Sullivan and Aiden King" it was like everyone stilled for a second, I wonder why, someone gasped behind me and I looked around for the named person and saw everyone was looking in my way with shocked expressions. Why?
Who is Aiden King? I looked towards Professor for help, that's when I felt someone seated beside me. I gasped when I saw the blue eyed stranger, whose name now I knew, Aiden, his name fits his personality perfectly, he was already looking at me while smirking.

It looked dangerous, I gulped, my nerves were in haywire and my palms were sweaty, I have no words left in my mouth.

" I am giving you ten minutes to introduce yourself to each other, after that, the class is dismissed." Professor said.

He was still staring at me and I was feeling nervous under his scrutinizing gaze, so I decided to break the silence.

"Hi, how is your hand?" I asked, looking at his hand, it was not covered in any bandages and looked like it was healing with time.

"Fine, I guess" he shrugged and answered nonchalantly in his deep grave voice, that gives me shivers. I forgot how much his voice affected me, I always feel like I am in trance or something when I am with him.

"Does it still hurt?" I asked, my voice laced with concern.

His eyes turned soft slightly and with an expression of amusement on his face, he asked " Why do you care if it hurts or not?"

I wish I knew why do I care about you, I wanted to say that but instead I said "I-I just asked casually, when I s-saw y-your hand"  I strutted and averted my eyes from him.

He chuckled and said "you know you are a very bad liar, anyways, what's the plan for assignment, how are we gonna meet? Do you want me to come at your place or you at mine?"

My eyes widened at his question and I said slightly panicking inside "you can't come at my house, if my Dad got to know that I even talked to a guy other than my brother, he is gonna kill you, forget about coming at my place."

"One thing you should know about me  is that, I don't get  afraid of anyone. So it's my place then."

"I can't come at your place either, Dad and Jake would never allow it"

"You can tell them that you are going at your friend's place for your assignment, you don't have to tell them about me and if they ask more, then you can take any girls name."

"You want me to lie to them" I asked in surprise. He nodded and I frowned at him "but I have never in my life lied to them, they will be hurt alot, and I don't wanna hurt them."

"Everything has it's first time and what they don't know will never hurt them."

"Huh, I don't understand what do you mean."

"I meant if you won't tell them then they will never know, and if they don't know that you lied to them, they won't be hurt, besides it's not like you are doing something wrong it's for assignment, it won't be a lie if it's used for a good cause."

"But Mom used to say 'A lie is always a lie' and if it will hurt people then it can never be good."

He sighed and rubbed his hand on his face and said "It's upto you if you don't want your assignment complete because it's marks will be added in your final exam marks."

"I....." I trailed off as I don't know what to say but I have to complete my assignment, I can't leave it. I would tell Jake about it after the assignment completion.

"Okay, I will come at your place and after that I will tell the truth and ask for forgiveness from Jake. He can't remain mad at me for long." I said with  determination in my voice. Aiden was looking at me with wide eyes and raised brows.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Nothing" he said as he slightly shook his head "Are you for real? How can someone be so naive and innocent?"

"This is not the first time anyone has said that to me. I don't know, but my dad says that I am like my mom, that's why I guess" I shrugged and smiled at him.

"We can meet tomorrow if you are free."

"Okay, but how am I supposed to reach at your place."

"Give me your phone and I will feed my phone number in it so I can send my address and we can decide the timing also." he said. I nodded and gave him my phone.

"Here I have put my number as 'king' in your phone" he said while smirking. The bell rang and I stood up from my seat and said "bye, see you tomorrow" I said smiling. He nodded at me as I walked away from him.
