{A/N: THIS IS A FILLER CHAPTER ! Sooyeon confronts Sun-Hi.}

Sooyeon managed to get to the penitentiary with ease. She rarely came into town unless absolutely necessary. She soon sat across from her sister. Having used a non verbal spell to make her unnatural glowing green eyes a more suitable shade. "Sooyeon, is that you ?", Sun-Hi questioned even though she nearly looked into a mirror. Well, except for the eyes. "언니, 설명 좀 해야겠어요." (You have some explaining to do, sister.) 

Sun-Hi sighed. Quickly assessing why Sooyeon came to see her. "Explain what ? I am not hiding anything." Sooyeon rolled her eyes at her twin' antics. She had no time to be contemplating if Sun-Hi would tell her anything. So she just asked another question. A more specific question. "What happened during Beomgyu' birth ? I'll know if you lie, Sun-Hi."

"Why ? Want to know if he has the gift ?" Sooyeon snarled as she cast another non verbal spell. A swift motion knocking Sun-Hi aside a bit. Like a punch. Sun-Hi couldn't do magic because of the penitentiary' magical handcuffs. It blocked all ability for its prisoners. "Beomgyu deserves to know if he has the gift. Just like he deserved to know about the gift in general." 

Beomgyu' birth was a mystery to him & his father. Choi Hajoon had no memories from Beomgyu' birth. All he remembered was that he was born. "말씀하지 않을래요. 제가 하도록 하지 마세요." (I'd rather not say. Don't make me.) Sooyeon had enough. She took her sister by the throat harshly. "Tell me or I will take your breath, sister." Sun-Hi managed to get out of Sooyeon' grip, coughing as she rubbed her neck. 

"Beomgyu was born with glowing green eyes, but it faded out. I was relieved he wasn't inheriting the gift. I didn't want to lose my child." Sooyeon chuckled. Her laugh almost sounding completely psychotic & full of a manic undertone. "Beomgyu has the gift. The manifestation just wasn't strong enough. He is the youngest ever to manifest the gift." 

Sun-Hi couldn't understand why her sister was happy about this. Beomgyu having the gift would've ripped her child from her. It was the last thing she wished for. Sooyeon scowled, swiftly moving on. "Oh, you're so pathetic. You aren't the only person in this family that had to give up someone." 

Sun-Hi' voice was now a bit hoarse since her twin choked her, "그만해요! 내가 이기적인 것처럼 굴지 말아요! 난 내 아들을 보호하고 있었어요!" (Stop ! Stop making it sound like I am selfish ! I was protecting my son !) Sooyeon slammed her hand on the table, the very one that still separated them. "You were protecting yourself ! You truly are pathetic !"

Maybe Beomgyu "killing" Soobin was a result of bonding with the Lake Of Mist, as well as his family' hidden pureblooded secret...

Sooyeon and Sun-Hi continued to argue before a guard inevitably put Sooyeon out. Something about "being too loud & weirdly violent with a prisoner"... 

Pssh, like a pureblood would value the belittlement of a lowly guard...
