Amy has to admit that it wasn't the best of ideas. Well, probably this was the worst idea she ever had. She felt very heavy as if she had been in a deep slumber.

"Hey, you alright?"

Yeah, definitely a dream. Sonic, the love of her life was standing right in front of her. A worried look all over his face. Amy hasn't seen Sonic since three months ago and she had missed him deeply. For a moment, she forgot her current state and even though she didn't know where she was at the moment, she did what had to be done.

"SONIC!!!!', Amy jumped on him. Caressing and hugging him, she enjoyed completely her current dream.

"I think you hit your head too hard, Shadow"

Amy's eyes shot open, looking up at Sonic's terrified eyes. His hands up in the air as to try not to touch her, an awkward smile planted through his face and his sweat was noticeable.

"Wait, what?"

Amy stood up from the floor, and look down at herself. Black fur instead of pink covered her, red and golden designs on her wrists instead of her plain golden rings. Rocket shoes instead of her red boots and chest fur instead of...well...her boobs.

"Omg Sonic!"

Sonic flinched at hearing Shadow scream his name, "Ye-yes?"

"I AM...I AM AN EMO!"

"Are you ok sweetheart?"

"Where is the restroom?"

"....over...there"

Shadow just stood up from the bed, went to the restroom and locked the door. Went to the bathroom mirror and took a good look at himself.

"This proves it...I AM THAT PINK HEDGEHOG!!!!"

Amy, who was trapped in Shadow's body, look directly at the ceiling in front of her. She still wasn't capable to understand what was going on. Sonic had left her a few minutes ago, in what seemed to be 'her' house. She took a look around her and paid attention to Shadow's room. The room was white and plants decorated the room. She didn't take Shadow for a plant lover but the great number of plants around the room was surprising.

She then heard something coming from afar. Big steps, small and strong. Amy then heard the main door slam open. "I KNOW YOU ARE HERE, SHOW YOURSELF!"
Amy runs downstairs and faced herself. She could swear that the one inside her body was Shadow, although they had exchanged bodies, he still smells the same as always. Now she understood the reason why everyone would say 'Amy is scary when she is mad'

"Tell me...what did you do?"

"I washed the dishes"

"Oh really? Well, that's actually really nic- THAT'S NO WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT", Shadow was infuriated, it had only been one hour since they switch bodies and he was more than ready to go back to his. Besides that, he really wanted to go to the restroom but he couldn't because he felt he was invading Amy's body privacy.

"I think...we...switched bodies"

Shadow faced palmed himself, not believing he was actually in this situation. He went near Amy, grabbed her by the shoulders and made her sit down on the sofa. He took a deep breath and let it go. "Tell me Amy...everything"

Amy meant what she was asking but she really wanted to avoid his anger or anything comparable to it. She was stupid, she had made such a stupid decision. All because of love...

It was raining, and Amy had almost given up. However, this could be her only chance. She hasn't seen Sonic for three months and although she had given up in chasing after him, she still was in love with the blue bur. She had finally made it to the store. She came in fast, still, a bit went even though she had an umbrella. She wanted to look around the store for a bit first but a voice had distracted her.

"I see you are looking for love, my dear"

Amy turned to the counter and found a purple echidna with blue eyes, looking at her. She had heard strong rumors about her. That her love potions were undeniably trustworthy and that many Mobians have found their true love because of her.

"I've heard that you have help Mobians find their true love", Amy said as she came closer to the counter.

"What I do is offer them find a way answer their question...whatever they decide to do after they find out is up to them...", The purple echidna, turned around and opened the cabinet from behind her. She picked a small crystal container, a red liquid reside in it. She placed in front of Amy and spoke clearly.

"Make your love interest drink this and he will be honest about his feelings for you...But be careful! If anyone besides your lover interest were to drink this then...who knows what may happen...."

"But...how did I even came to drink that?",Shadow was trying to remember any time during yesterday that he may have wrongly taken Sonic's drink. Mostly likely during the party, he was pretty drunk and didn't remember much.

"You were drunk and Sonic wanted to keep you hydrated. I didn't know and he asked me to bring him water and that's when I put the potion in it. I thought he was going to drink it, but he gave it all to you. Right after you drank it, you fell to the floor and hit your head. I did the same...it was too late", Amy looked down to the floor and paid more attention to her 'new' shoes. Disappointed about herself.

"I knew I shouldn't have gone to that damn party"

"Yes, you shouldn't have...Actually, why did you go? You hate parties"

"Rouge convinced me"

"I have noticed you have a soft spot for her"

"No, I don't"

"Yeah, whatever you say...Anyways let's go", Amy stood up and carried Shadow in her arms. Shadow was a baffle, what was she thinking?

"Who do you think you are holding the Ultimate Life Form like a damsel in distress?", Shadow wanted to be put down but he felt weak against Amy. For a moment, he had forgotten that he was inside Amy's body and that his strength wasn't the same.

" I AM The Ultimate Life Form...and we are going to go see that Witch...maybe she has a potion that could give us back our bodies", Amy prepared herself to run and have Shadow a reassuring smile.

Shadow didn't want to admit but, he actually felt good. He felt safe and protected in her arms...well his own actually. She was warm and Shadow could feel her peaceful heartbeat. Well, more like his own. He wonders if this is what Amy felt everything time Sonic would carry her in his arms.
Shadow noticed that Amy was determined to run, but even he knew that his rocket shoes where hard to master. He wanted to warn her, but it was too late now.

"Wait, if you run like that you will activate the ROCKET SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!"

With that, Shadow and Amy were rocked out of Shadow's house, breaking through one of his walls.

At least they landed safely. The only thing that was affected by Amy's 'incredible' flying, was that Shadow's pink quills were completely messy. Shadow didn't care in what body he was, he always took perfection seriously and now his pink hair looked anything but perfect. With an annoyed look, he tried to calm down his quills as Amy and he entered the store. They went straight to the counter and the same purple echidna that had attended Amy before was there, reading a love magazine quietly.

"I see that the potion worked... is this your boyfriend now?", the Witch smile with a teasing tone.

"N-NO! THIS GUY WILL NEVER BE MY BOYFRIEND! WE SWITCHED BODIES!", Amy said exalted making the Witch blink her eyes in concern. "What happened?"

"It's a long story but to make things short, I accidentally drank Amy's love potion and now I am in this peasant's body!"

"Peasant!?"

Amy and Shadow began to argue again and the purple beauty just smiled knowing exactly where their situation was going. "Please calm down. I know a way to fix your problem"

"Well, tell us!", They said in unison. The Witch cleared her thought.

"You have one month to do this...if you don't do this by February 3rd, you will stay like this forever. So listen well... one of you needs to kiss your true love. Only that way you will get your body back"

"What!? So I have to kiss Sonic looking like...Shadow!"

"Or!" The Witch had a bigger smile on her face now seeing the couple have a little bit of hope that their situation could change. "Shadow needs to kiss the bat!"

"What? Kissing Rouge...looking like Amy?"

"I knew you liked her!", Amy teased Shadow forgetting about her problem due to the revelation. "We wouldn't be in this situation if it wasn't because of you!", Shadow had a tint of pink in his cheeks and began to insult Amy in order to change the topic fast. "It's not like I wanted this! I don't even know if Sonic likes guys as well!",Once again they began to fight one another and the Witch was having it this time "Silence!"

Amy and Shadow stopped and looked at the Witch who had more to say. "I am aware this is a hard situation, but you need to think. Alcohol, losing a dare, accidents, there's a lot of possibilities in which you any of you could get kissed. You need to work together and figure a solution"

Amy and Shadow still couldn't believe this was their current situation. They hoped that this was a dream in which they could wake up already.

"So until that happens...", The Witch continued, "Enjoy your new body"

A/N: Something is coming....yes it's your typical comedy romance. Something short but I wanted to write this idea. I still don't know if I should write a story based on this. So who do you think will get kissed first? Will Amy ( in Shadow's body) be able to get a kiss from her blue hero? Or will a shy Shadow (in Amy's body) be able to get kissed by his current crush, Rouge?" Or will switching bodies make the two hedgehogs question their feelings?
