She slapped him more than a dozon times. The man was numb now. She clutched his colors and screamed.

S: pata hai main kaun hun? Aur kya kar sajti hun? Main is independent india ki ek responsible citizen hun matlab jagruk naagrik samjha. Aur ek aurat par haath uthhane k jurm me tujhe pure char saal ki jail karwa sakti hun. Ek complain karungi aur tu jail me machchhar maarta nazar aayega samjha. Tere jaise langoor chhap ko chabuk se sidha karna chahiye.

Sharam nahi aati apni hi biwi ko jaanwaro ki tarah bich sadak pe maarte hue. Chavanni chor kahinke, das rupaye diye hein bhagwaan ne, uski izzat to kar. She said ticking and pointing her index finger towards him and was leaving. Suddenly she stopped when she heard an applouge from the crowd. Yes, it was started by our very own rd. He was hidden in the crowd. One can easily identify the proudness in his eyes. She narrowed her eyes and glanced the crowd. A curve crept on her face and she thanked everyone ( in chinese style :p ). She blew away a kiss and left waving her hand.

Everyone including rd left. He took his driver seat in car and drove out. He was totally lost in her.

~~Randhir's POV~~

I dont know was had happened to me. I should be happy that I found my princess or should be sad that I would loose her. She was exactly the girl I wanted. A true person who never supports injustice. Just a single sight made a fully drown in her, specially by her eyes, which had that power to bring a change. But I had to leave everything on go because if destiny wants, I can meet her.

~~No One's POV~~

His whole day remained unmindful.

At 4p.m. he received a call from his mom for leaving office and go to the girl's home to see her.

At 4pm in car..

Rd was in driver's seat and his dad was beside him on front seat.

H: aj lag raha hai humare bete bade ho gaye hai. Ladki dekhne jo jaa rahe hein hum apke liye rd bete.

He just faked a smile and continued driving.

H: kya hua bete? Koi baat hui hai kya. Subah itne bhi to upset nahi lag rahe the ap.

R: nahi dad, I mean bapusa aisa kuch nahi hai. Bas thoda sa headache hai.

Re: kyun kaam zyada tha apka? Apne assistant ko bol dete. Saara kaam kyun karbe ki kya zarurat thi. Bas un logon k saamne aise mu mat latkaayiga, ghar waapas aate hi hum apke sar ki champi kar denge.

He just nodded with a yes with a fake smile and drove the car.

~~Sanyukta's House~~

Anju was busy in preparations and sanyu was frying some snacks.

An: mohan abhi tak saari tayariyaan nahi hui. Wo log thodi hi der me aate honge.(she said arranging sofa covers)

S: oho maa tum tension kyun le rahi ho. Sab ready ho gaya hai.

An: beta wo bahut bade log hein.

S: to unki wajah se hum apne ghar k samaan ka size bhi badha den kya. Unhe pasand karna hai to mujhe karenge mere ghar ki decorations ko nahi.

An: kuch bhi ho mujhe mera kaam karne de. 6 baj gaye hein wo log aur thodi der me aate honge. Wo pink waala salwar suit nikaal k rakha hai wahi pehenna.

Sanyu just made a face, wiped her palms and left to her room.

It was 7pm in the evening and the calling bell rung. Everyone was set to welcome the family of male candidate. Kishore opened the door and shekhawats entered.

After an formal welcome, they took the seat. Both parents were busy discussing about their children's likes, dislikes, habits etc but rd was least interested in that. He was still upset with whatever happened in the morning.

Re: sanyukta beti kahan hein.

An: g main leke aati hun.

And a few minutes later, she came down. Both harsh and renuka were happy to see her but rd did not raise his head also. She took a seat just infront of them.

H(whisper): renuka sundar hai. Humare rd k saath achhi lagengi.

Re(whisper): upar se to sabhi achhe lagte hein. Hum puri jaanch karenge.

Re: to bete apka naam sanyukta hai?

S: g haan.

Rd heard the voice and found it familiar. He narrowed his eye brows and heard once again.

Re: to kahan tak padhi hein ap?

S: main mechanical engg hun ABC company me.

Rd raised his head and gazed her. His happiness had no bounds finding sanyu in front of him. He was feeling like jumping in happiness. He was smiling like fools finding her so beautiful. He was mesmerised by her beauty.

R(whisper): dad.

H: hmm.

R(again whisper): mujhe ladki pasand hai. Bas shaadi ki date final.kar lijiye ap.

H(murmer): abhi to itne dukhi the ap fir achanak se itne khus. Koi aladdin ka chirag lag gaya kya haath. Ya kisine jaadu tona kar diya hai.

R: dono.

H: kya?

R: offo dad. Kitne question puchhte hein ap. Bas itni help kar dijiye meri.

H: thik hai renuka ko jo karna hai karne dijiye fir hum baat karte hein.

Re: sanyukta bete. Zara idhar aayiye.

She came and stood infront oh her. Renuka too stood.

Re: apne haath dikhayiye zara.

Confused sanyukta showed her hands.

Re: sundar hein.

Sanyu faked a smile.

Re: ab apne pair dikhaiye.

Sanyu made a face and showed.

R(whisper): dad ye maasa kar kya rahi hein.

H(whisper): shaayad check kar rahi hai sab correct hai ya nahi.

R: par dad ye sahi nahi hai. Maasa ek ladki k saath aisa kese kar sakti hein. Main aisa hone nahi dunga.

H: bete apne agar abhi kuch bola to abhi apki bhi yahi haalat hogi. Baat agar limit se baahar ho jaaye to kuch kahiyega.

He became silent and tightened his fist. Renuka continued her investigation and sanyu showed her everything.

Rd had tightened his fist and teeth too. Sanyu's anger reached cloud 9 and she screamed.

S: bas maaji. Maine koi bazaar me bikne waala samaan nahi hun jo ap naap tol rahi hein.

Re: to humare bete k liye kya hum kaisi bhi ladki chun len. Use jaanche bhi na.

S: kyun maine aur meri family to apke bete ka koi test liya hai kya. Aur main koi luli langdi nahi hoon.

Sanyu's parents better knew that she would not tolerate anything wrong, so they did not say anything. Kishore was just hiding his smile behind his fingers.

K(in mind): shaayad inhe pata nahi inhone kisse panga liya hai.

R(in mind): kash ye main kar paata. Tabhi isko pehli bar dekh k mera dil dhadka tha.

S: ap mujhse badi hein, isliye kuch kaha nahi maine apse. Ye to achha hua ki bhai yahaan nahi hai tab apko badtamizi kya hai pata chalti.

Re: anjaliji kaise sanskar diye hein apne apni beti ko.

S: maaji ap mujhe kahiye jo kehna hai, meri maa ko kyun bich me laa rahi hein. Main sab kuch seh sakti hun par apni dignity ko harm ho kabhi kuch aisa hone nahi dungi. Main maanti hun apko apne bache ki fikr hai, iska ye matlab to nahi ki ap dusro ko pathar samajhne lagen.

S: achha hai. Apke bete ko bhi apne train kiya hai tabhi apni aankhon k saamne itna sab galat hote hue chup chap dekh raha hai.

S: ye to apko sochna chahiye.

Re: itni bezzati humari aj tak nahi hui. Ek to middle class hote hue bhi humne apke ghar se rishta jodne ki sochi aur ap log. Huh.

And she left the house. Harsh folded his hands, apologized eveyone and left. Rd was going out without removing his vision from sanyu. His eyes were moist as is someone was taking out his heart from his chest. Finally they left. Sanyu with all rage in her eyes left to her room. She started throwing her bangles on her dressing table and was fuming.

S: samajhti kya hai apne apko. Main ko disablity asylum se aayi hun kya. Khadoos kis tarah baat kar rahi thi.

Meanwhile anju entered.

S: maa is waqt mujhe koi baat nahi karni. Mera gussa 200% me hai. Ap jao abhi.

An: mujhe maaf kar de beta. Arrange marriage ne thoda bahut to hota hai par mujhe agar pata hota ki wo aisi hai to main kabhi milwati hi nahi.

S: nahi maa aisa mat bolo. Par please agli bar aise logon ko mat laana.

An: meri bachi. Main kabhi tere saath kuch galat nahi hone dungi.

Anju caressed her hair and pecked her forehead. Sanyu wrapped her around her waist and placed her head on her tummy like a 5 year old kid.

S: I love you maa.

An: bachpan ki aadat gayi nahi teri. Kal jab shaadi kar k chali jaayegi tab kaun itne pyar se tere baal sehlayega.

S: ap jaisi koi mil hi jaayegi wahaan. Par ap nahi hoge na fir kyun meri shaadi karaana zaruri hai.

An: har beti ka yahi dard hota hai meri bachi.

S: beton ko kyun ye punishment nahi milti. Dekhna main apne pati to bhi thode din widaa kar k le aaungi. Fir dekhna.(she chucked and giggled)

An: hat badmaash(she hit her head lightly)

~~Randhir's House~~

Everyone reaached home. Renuka was still fuming. She started marched and screaming. Rd and Harsh acquired one sofa each. They were fully sure about the weather that this cloud is going to thunder hard. Finally the lava started oozing like acid rain.

R: bas maasa pura duniya ek jaisi nahi hoti aur zaruri nahi ki kami ladki me hi ho. Ladke bhi smoking, drinking, gambling, girlfriends and pata nahi kaise kaise nashe ka istamaal karte hein. Unhe to koi justification nahi maangta. Even if ladki waale ye sab jaante hue bhi uski shaadi waise ladke se karaa dete hein. Fir ek ladki to explanation dene ki zarurat kyun padti hai?

Re: hum is baare me apse koi behes nahi karna chahte rd bete. Ap apne kamre me jaiye.

Giving a tuff look to their parents, he left to his room. He threw his jacket off, placed his palms on his abdomen and started murmering.

R: Sharam aa rahi hai aj mujhe. Sahi kaha usne, mere saamne itna sab galat hota raha aur maine kuch nahi kiya. Wo ek ladki hoke lad sakti hai aur main. Shit. . . Wo hogi sab pe bhaari aur main reh jaaunga brahmachari. Samajh nahi aata kahaan galat thi wo jo maasa ne uske saath aise behave kiya. Khud se nazar nahi mila pa raha main. R: dad apne mujhse puchha tha na main itna upset kyun tha. Kyunki maine apni princess ka face dekh liya tha. Aur jab mujhe lagaa main use kho dunga tab main tut gaya. Par jab maine dekha ki wo wahi hai tab main khushi se paagal ho gaya. Par afsos maasa ko apni ego main apne bete ki khushiyan kahan dikhti hai.

H: rd bete hume detail me bataiye. Hum kuch samajh nahi paa rahe.

R: dad aj subah maine use sadak pe dekha kisi aur k liye ladte hue. Use apni fikar nahi thi, us aurat ko jo haath uthh rahe the uski chinta thi. Sochiye na dad, jo dusro ki itni chinta karti ho wo ladki galat kaise ho sakti hai. Kaise apne saath galat hone de sakti hai. Aj subah jab maine use pehli bar dekha tabhi mujhe usse pyar ho gaya tha. Aur sabse painful baat ye hai ki jisse itna pyar kiya usi k liye main luch nahi kar paaya.

H: ap guilty hein na.

R: (just nodded in a yes making a sad face)

H: to jaiye humari hone waali bahu se maafi maangiye, unka dil jitiye aur dulhan ko ghar leke aayiye. Apki maasa na sahi, hum unka swaagat karenge.

R: sach dad?(he face glown)

H: apko apke dad pe bharosa nahi hai?

He hugged him and he caressed his back. He returned a proud smile to his son.

R: I love you dad.

H: I love you too bete. Hum naaz hai apki pasand pe.
