"Byee!" Waved Dan and the oh so adorable Phil to the audience on YouNow. I shut the computer quickly as my door opened.

"That scared me, next time knock." I smiled at my dad.

"Hey (Y/N), do you have a moment?" I frown at the seriousness of his voice.

"Uh yeah," I sat up from my bed and pulled the chair from the desk for him to sit down on.

"Thanks sweetie." He paused. "So how's life going for you?"

"Well my job is stressful as always, saving lives comes with a toll on your tiredness you know. Especially never being good enough for mum." He gave me a sad smile. "W-What's the matter."

"You never had to do medicine."

"Yeah?! You tell mum that." I cross my arms. "I'm twenty-five and she won't even let me move out. By law I have that right!" I say angrily.

"Mmh. That's what I wanted to talk to you about. I think you deserve better than us."

"D-Dad, what do you mean?"

"I want you to get out of here, live your life, have fun for once, meet new people." He puts a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "T-That's why I think you should move away from here." I pursed my lips together.

"But dad, I can't leave you with her. You'll go insane." He chuckled at this.

"Insane, honey I've been living with your mother for many years now. It can't get any worse... but it can for you and that's why I want you to get out of here before it's too late. Before you know it all your money will be going towards paying her bills and rent and I don't want that for you. For once in your life I want you have freedom and make your own choices."

"Where would I go? This is home, with you and mum." I feel a tear well up in my eye.

"This is no home, it's a hell hole. Haven't you seen what your damn mother has done to you. You are burnt out and have no friends."

"I-"

"Don't argue, you know I'm right." He says sternly. I break eye contact with him and nod.

"Where would I go?"

"Anywhere but this country." (A/N) If you live in England pretend you don't))

"WHAT! What about my job?!" I shout.

"Calm down, I'm sure there will be openings there. You know what, I don't care if you stop being a doctor. Just be yourself and have no regrets." He forced a smile out. "Come here." He whispered and gave me a tight hug. I hugged back sobbing.

"This is your chance, take it (Y/N) and don't ever look back." He rubs a soothing hand over my back and I pull away. "We are going to have to do this immediately so your mother won't interrupt our plans. Where would you like to be set free?" He asks with absolute sadness in his voice. I look down at my computer then back at him.

"London."

"Very well then. Give me your computer I'm going to book a ticket for you." I pick it up but hesitate giving it to him. "(Y/N), c'mon, give it to me." I let go and he opens it and types away. I walk over to my cupboard and take out a massive suitcase and pile all my clothes in it. "He closed the computer and walked over to the printer which started heaving and working. He picked up the single piece of paper and handed it to me. I read it carefully, it was a one-way ticket to London. "Hide the stuff, I hear someone coming up the stairs." I shoved the suitcase under the bed and folded the ticket into my pocket. Just in time, my hell of a mother entered the room.

"What're you two up to?" She snarled. "(Y/N), shouldn't you be at work you pig."

"N-No it's my day off."

"Day off?! Day off?! That's not good enough, get a life." She turned and her high heels clicked towards the door.

"Yeah if you'd let me have one." I mutter under my breath. She strides back into the room and pulls me by the ear.

"What did you say you little rat."

"OW! I didn't say anything I swear!" I desperately lie.

"Sure you did."

"Hey, that's enough." My father interjects. She slaps him across the face and he falls silent and exits the room huffing. I rub my sore and probably bruised ear and looked at the ticket again and smiled.

"Yeah, you're right." I look back at my dad who is used to being slapped. "I'm getting out of here." I look at the times for the flight. 11pm tonight, perfect.

I continue to pack my stuff and decided to start looking for an apartment. I scrolled through the countless options until I settled on one I liked. For the next three days the apartment was going to be on offer. It looked like the perfect place to settle, right across from a park too, damn expensive though. But hey, working as a doctor means you have a lot of money, so I could just afford it.
