Okay so I'm just kinda ranting here, no biggie. It's not like anything's new, aha.

But so. On the topic of opinions - yes, we all have them. Sometimes they don't contradict one another, sometimes they do. But that's just the nature of things. May I remind you that, by definition, an opinion is a view or judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge (and thanks to the internet for that definition). Thus being said, no one's opinions can be called right or wrong. They are entirely someone's point of view, not a 100% cold hard fact!

That also being said, we shouldn't have to argue on opinions at all! Sometimes, of course, you want someone to know how you feel on the subject, and that's usually fine. But you cannot bash someone else's opinion in an attempt to prove your side right. Because either way, it's not. Neither of your opinions can be considered correct.

Now, many times before, I have stated my (sometimes harsh) opinion towards certain things, fandoms, or franchises. I had no intention or plan of using my opinions to harm or offend anyone, I just harmlessly stated the way I felt.

Then comes along someone who doesn't agree with me, or questions why that is how I feel towards the subject. I'm fine with it, if they're just curious or just want me to know how they feel.

But then, even after I just explain my reasoning, they still argue against it. They try to, seemingly, prove their point correct or get me to agree with them.

But it's pointless and a waste of time. Please, just don't carry out arguments over a simple contradicting opinion! No one is right, and no one is wrong.

You don't have to throw your thoughts into my face if I don't throw mine into yours.

Not everyone likes the same things. Not everyone agrees on the same beliefs. And that is perfectly acceptable.

Please, just learn to accept everyone's feelings. You have to keep in mind that they are valid human beings, too.
