Don't go
Since his childhood, Tedros had been afraid of people leaving. He would get close to someone, and just when he truly felt that he couldn't live without them, they left and took a peace of his heart with them. At least, until Agatha.
Since her childhood, Agatha had been afraid of pushing people away. She'd never had more than Sophie in the way of friends. She'd always do something to make the one friend that she did have mad and she'd leave. for the week until she came back, Agatha would feel horrible. She always wondered if she'd always be like this. forever doomed to push people away and never know what to say to fix it. At least, until Tedros.
On bad days, when Tedros's memories and Agatha's insecurities locked them away from the rest of the world, they'd sit together and intwine their hands.
    "Agatha?" Tedros would call.
    "Yes?"
    "You'll... you'll always be here right? I mean, you'll stay?"
    "Of course i'll stay. If you'll have me and put up with me i'll never leave your side. You ground me." They'd let the warmth travel through their hands and up their arms into their hearts for a few moments of peace . Then, Agatha would think of something she'd done a few days ago and start crying.
    "I'm sorry" She'd say. "So sorry for being so... me. I don't want to push you away."
    "Agatha, you never push me away. I LOVE everything about you. The good things and the bad things. No matter what you do, you always apologize for it and you do it out of love. Anyone who knows you can see that."
And there they'd sit. They both knew that they'd have this conversation again, that  they'd need more reassurance later, but for that moment, they were content to sit just where they were feeling loved and appreciated. Being able to love another and themselves was the best feeling in the world for the two, and they only felt that way with each other.
