I tried to balance the dishes as I was talking to Kyrn on the phone. It's actually a lot harder than you think.

"Yes. Xavier and I would love to go out to eat with you and Jay - Tommy don't lick that! - what time?" I asked, trying to put away dishes.

"How about lunch and what did Tommy do?" Kyrn laughed.

"He decided he wanted to lick the wall." I said laughing as Tommy, my five-year-old son, looked at me with a sheepish smile.

"Oh gosh. It's okay, Sabrina decided she wanted to have a pet squirrel the other day. She came home crying because it ran away from her." Kyrn laughed.

Sabrina is Kyrn's and Jay's four-year-old daughter.

A lot has happened since Xavier and I get married.

We now a five-year-old son named Tommy and a little child on the way. We wanted to name Tommy after my dad and my dad cried when we picked out the name.

But the funny thing, Xavier didn't know I was pregnant. Whoops?

But Kyrn and Jay have a four-year-old daughter named Sabrina and another one coming as well. She is about three months along and I'm pretty sure Jay was more excited than she was.

Even Chloe had a child. He was six-years-old and his name was Michael. He was the cutest little guy ever. Well, except for Tommy.

A new pack came into town. They aren't that far from here, but Ryan, Hunter, and Tim all found their mates. Pretty strange huh?

They haven't introduced us to them yet. Little selfish wolves.

I was brought out of my thinking when I heard the front door open of my new house. That's right! Xavier got us a new house.

I watched as Xavier came strolling in.

"Daddy!" Tommy yelled as he ran full speed into Xavier.

"Oof!" Xavier groaned as Tommy's head made contact with Xavier's downstairs.

I covered my mouth laughing.

"Sorry daddy," Tommy said slowly.

"It's okay Tommy," Xavier wheezed out.

"It wasn't me this time," I said smirking.

Xavier playfully glared at me and stuck his tongue out at me. "I see where Tommy gets it from."

I giggled and put the last plate away. "I did no such thing."

"Of course," Xavier said as he walked over to me and gave me a hug. "I missed you."

I gave him a quick peck. "I missed you too."

"What do you mean I got it from Mommy?" Tommy asked.

"This is going to be good." I smiled as I leaned against the wall with my arms crossed over my chest.

Xavier picked up Tommy and sat on the couch and put him on his lap. "Well. I first met mommy when I showed up on her doorstep one night."

"Really?" Tommy asked amazed.

Xavier nodded. "You know how we have mates?"

I watched as Tommy nodded. "Yes."

"Well. When I was in a car with my buddies, we pulled up at a stoplight. I smelled the most amazing smell and when I looked to my right, I saw an amazingly beautiful woman crying in her car."

"Mommy?" Tommy asked looking at me.

"Yes." Xavier beamed and looked me dead in the eye. "I realized she was my mate right away. The other half that was made for me. I was hers the moment I looked into her eyes. And I have loved her ever since."

"Why was mommy crying?" Tommy asked in a sad voice.

"I had an ex-boyfriend that cheated on me," I said before Xavier could. I was afraid he might cuss and I didn't want Tommy to hear those words.

"But what did you mean when you said I got it from mommy?" Tommy asked confused.

Man, he asks so many questions.

"Well. Since your mommy is human, she didn't understand what mates are. So I kind of um," Xavier trailed off not knowing what to say.

"He kidnapped me." I smirked and sat in the chair enjoying what is happening right now.

"Daddy!" Tommy yelled in an angry tone. "That is not how you treat mommy!"

Okay, I couldn't hold it in anymore. I busted out laughing as Xavier's face got red.

"I know, I know Tommy. But my wolf couldn't stand being away from her any longer. And I couldn't either. So that's when my buddies and I kidnapped her and Kyrn. Because Kyrn is Jay's mate. We needed to have our mates and we couldn't leave them behind and wait for them to come to us," Xavier said, smiling.

"So what did Mommy do?"

"Mommy kicked him where the sun doesn't shine," I said, smiling sweetly.

"Ouch." Tommy said looking at his dad.

"Yeah. Ouch." Xavier laughed.

I stood up from the chair and stretched. "Come on. We are meeting Jay, Kyrn, and Sabrina for lunch."

We quickly hopped in the car and drove to the small restaurant where we all decided to meet up.

"You missed it," I said as I sat by Kyrn.

"What did I miss?" she asked, confused.

"Xavier told Tommy about how he first met me." I laughed.

Kyrn let out a small chuckle. "Did he tell him how he got you to his house?"

"Oh yeah," I nodded with a smirk.

"How did that go?"

"Xavier got lectured by Tommy about how that's not the right way to treat me."

Kyrn let out a laugh. "Oh, that's gold. I miss all the good stuff."

"But it was all worth it," Xavier said pecking my cheek.

"I agree." Jay smiled at Kyrn.

"But that's not how you treat women, daddy and Uncle Jay," Tommy said sternly.

"I know, I know. But if you have a stubborn mate, you will understand."

"Xavier!" I yelled laughing.

"Okay fine. Only kidnap her if she is human." Xavier said while Tommy tried not to laugh.

I smacked him on the back of the head. "Do not teach my son that."

"Our son." Xavier smirked and kissed my neck.

I tried to fight down a blush, but I don't think it worked.

"Mommy? Why is your face turning red?" Tommy asked.

"No reason. Just eat your food," I said as I elbowed Xavier in his side.

Tommy shrugged and dug into his corn.

"I've been meaning to ask you this. What is that smell?" Xavier asked looking at me confused.

"What smell?" I asked trying to stay calm.

Chloe told me about how once you are pregnant; your smell will start to change. But your mate will be the first one to notice. So Chloe, Kyrn, and I have been hiding it from everyone until the right moment to tell.

"What smell dude?" Jay asked sniffing around.

"I don't know. It's like a fresh new smell. I don't really know how to describe it," Xavier said confused.

"I think you're on crack," Kyrn said laughing.

"No really. I've been smelling it since yesterday. I let it go thinking it was just my imagination, but now I can really smell it."

"I think it is your imagination." I laughed trying to get out of it.

Xavier gave me the are-you-serious look.

"How's Chloe enjoying her vacation?" Kyrn asked.

I gave her a grateful smile and she just winked back.

"Good." Xavier said. "She really loves the Bahamas."

"We are going there next. I need to get tan. I look like I'm Olaf's twin sister," I said, looking at my arms.

"I know how ya feel." Kyrn laughed.

"But you need to stay out of the sun," Jay said quickly to Kyrn. "Too much sun can be bad for our baby." He smiled and placed a hand on her stomach.

"That's it!" Xavier suddenly shouted.

I dropped my fork and glared at him. "Was there a reason you just made me drop my food?"

"Why didn't you tell me?" Xavier asked in a hurt tone.

I gulped. I decided to play it cool.

I cleared my throat. "What are you talking about?"

"Sam," Xavier said sternly. "Why didn't you tell me?"

I sighed. "Because I didn't want to let you know just yet. I wanted to surprise you," I said softly looking down.

I felt two fingers lift my chin up and Xavier looked me in the eye. "So it's official?"

I nodded with a smile. "Yes. We are having another baby."

"Really?" Xavier asked as his eyes went wide.

"Yes."

"This is so great!" he shouted.

"Yes, it is." I laughed and pulled him in for a hug.

He let me go and looks down at my stomach and places a hand on it. "I'm so excited you are coming into this family little one."

"Does this mean I'll be a big brother?" Tommy asked, smiling.

"Yes it does," I said, smiling at him.

"Oh yeah!" He yelled fist-pumping the air.

"Will it be a girl?" Sabrina asked quietly.

I shrugged. "I don't know yet."

"I hope so. There are too many boys."

We burst out laughing hearing little Sabrina talk.

"I don't care if it's a boy or a girl. I will be extremely happy either way," Xavier said and gave me a kiss.

"Me too." I said as webroke away.
