Chapter Three

The creature slowly wraps his tiny, thin yet beautiful hands around the boy's waist....the boy with LEGS!

He carries him to the surface and looks around. His mesmerizing blue eyes scanned his surrounding before landing on the BIG beach house...of course, the creature wasn't aware of it, being a beach house.

He slowly gets to the surface and starts his walk to the big house, not really liking the touch of sand in his tail.

He keeps the boy in the entrance steps of the beach house.

The creature tilts his head in confusion as he pokes Jungkook's cheeks.

*Poke Poke*

After several pokes, Jungkook's eyes opens. He coughs loudly, water spilling out of his mouth, followed by sneezes.

The creature was beyond scared as he starts moving back, Jungkook still not aware of his presence.

"I fell into the sea...who brought me here?" Jungkook wondered as he looked up.

His eyes widen when he was met with a human..well not really a human.

"A HUMAN WITH A TAIL!" Jungkook cheered as he abruptly stood up.

A lot of thoughts was going on, in the young teenager's mind.

The creature tilts his head in confusion, not understanding what Jungkook was speaking about.

"Come here" Jungkook said, closely watching the creature's movements.

When he understood that, the creature wasn't understanding him, he used actions and pointed at the door of the beach house.

"A merman" Jungkook concludes as he watch the merman, wobble towards the door.

"I don't have a fucking key. Everything went with the suit case" Jungkook hissed as he kicked the door.

The merman who saw this, pokes his arm, making Jungkook turn to him. He points at the 'suit case', that he found underwater making Jungkook smile widely.

"AH YOU DID A GOOD JOB" Jungkook squealed as he went to the, now wet suit case. He opens the zip, taking out the key before closing it back.

He opens the door quickly before taking the bag with him, asking the merman to follow him.

"You can stay without water?" Jungkook asks, rolling his eyes when he forget that the merman couldn't understand him.

He walks in and takes some water in a glass before arriving back to the merman.

"You-," Jungkook points at the merman, "live-," he breathes heavily symbolizing living, "without-," he shakes his hand and head, "water" he finally shows the water in hand.

The merman who understood this, nods unsurely. He lifts his hand and shows it to Jungkook who nods telling him that he was listening.

The merman shows one of his finger, making Jungkook nod.

"One hour or day or week or month. Most probably hour" Jungkook concludes. "Or maybe I should check it in internet. I mean there can be some information" Jungkook said to himself as he takes his phone from his suit case.

"Thank God, my phone was sandwiched between thicker clothes" Jungkook said as he looks at his phone.

As Jeju was a tourist place where a lots of people visit every year, there is good network here to satisfy the tourists.

"So you can stay without water for...1 fucking day! That's awesome" Jungkook grinned as he turns to the merman who was confused on why the boy's lips was curved on both sides of his mouth...yes people, he don't know what a smile is or what being happy is.

He is unaware of those things...living underwater for years, of course he wouldn't know.

Now, Jungkook was wondering what the merman's name was.

"What-,?" Jungkook used hand gestures to make the boy understand, "you-," he pointed at the merman, "name?" He points at the merman and tried to make the merman understand.

The merman who didn't understand, blinked continuously.

Jungkook sighed, giving up. "I will name you" he said before taking his phone.

He searches for common Korean male names. After looking for a while, he groans in irritation.

"You choose instead!" Jungkook said as he shows the merman his phone.
"Touch one" Jungkook said pressing his finger, scrolling down his phone.

The merman tilts his head but looks at the rectangular box carefully, clearly not understanding what was written in it.

He slowly lifts his hand, his tiny clenched fists, unclenching in the process. His tiny finger decides to touch the object.

He closes his eyes, hoping the object won't burst. His finger touches the screen on a particular name.

Jungkook turns the phone to himself before smiling.

"JIMIN! Your name is Jimin from now" Jungkook concludes as he pronounced the name to the merman continuously.

"Jeon Jimin!" Jungkook said, excitedly.
