Seeing his father so suddenly like that came as such a shock to Yoongi that he didn't feel the fear for a few long moments.

He just stared, his mind blank, his voice gone.

For a split second, he felt calm.

Because Suga should take over, and Yoongi could run and hide in the safety of his own mind.

But then, Byungwoo's smirking face didn't disappear, and Yoongi came crashing back to reality when he realized Suga hadn't taken over.

Couldn't take over.

With a sudden scream, Yoongi yanked himself away, losing balance and falling on his back, kicking blankets and stuffed animals away as he shuffled backwards to the farthest end of the cage.

"No! I- you- how-" He cried, a panic attack looming. He grabbed a blanket and threw it over himself, desperate to hide himself from his fathers eyes. He was breathing so fast he could feel himself getting light headed.

He was on his own, he was on his own-

"Holy shit, why is he so scared of you?" Park gasped. "Doll, come here! It's okay! I'll-"

"Shut the fuck up." Byungwoo shoved the other man away. "Get out!"

"What- but-"

"Out!" Byungwoo grabbed Park's shirt and shoved him out of the room, slamming the door shut and locking it.

Yoongi tried not to cry as he heard Byungwoo walked back to the cage, feeling trapped and helpless.

"Come here, Yoon." Byungwoo commanded.

Yoongi flinched and curled up tighter under the blanket.

Suga, Agust, Yoonji, please, help me-

"Now, Yoon." Byungwoo growled.

Yoongi ignored him, trembling under the blanket with his face buried in his hands.

A hand suddenly shot into the cage and grabbed the blanket, yanking it off of Yoongi.

"Namjoon!" Yoongi screamed, sitting up and cowering as far away as he could. "Namjoon!"

"Listen to me," Byungwoo ordered. "Bring out Yoonie now, or else I'll come in there."

Yoongi just shook his head, shoulders shaking as he sobbed. "Leave me alone! Please! Just go away!"

"Bring him out!" Byungwoo snapped, punching the cage and making everything rattle.

Yoongi flinched again but shook his head. "No! You'll hurt him!"

Byungwoo paused. "Hurt...?" He shook his head.

"No, I could never. Not after what he did for me...back in the courtroom."

It took Yoongi a few moments to understand the mans words, and he slowly lifted his face from his hands, tears drying on his cheeks.

"What...do you mean?" He asked, voice shaky.

Byungwoo had an expression on his face that Yoongi had never seen before.

"He...hugged me. And...forgave me."

Yoongi was stunned to hear that.

All this time, he had referred to Yoonie as just a baby, a tiny little thing who didn't understand much, but after hearing what the sweet, kind alter did for such a horrible man had Yoongi thinking Yoonie knew more than all of them.

"I want to talk to him again." Byungwoo confessed.

He picked up a stuffed animal, a puppy, and held it out for Yoongi to take. "So...bring him out. Please."

Yoongi looked away. "It doesn't work like that, I can't call them up at will. He has to be triggered out, and without Kitty or Jiminie here, that's unlikely."

Byungwoo studied him for a few moments, as if deciding whether or not the boy was lying, then frowned and pulled out a phone.

It wasn't his own, but the one he had stolen from that principal. He downloaded an old social media app he used to have, and logged in. Scrolling back years and years, he finally found the post he was looking for.

He turned up the volume and pressed play, angling the device so Yoongi could see it.

"Aww, are you helping mommy, Yoongi?" A females voice laughed, and Yoongi whipped his head around and stared at the phone, seeing his mom.

Six year old Yoongi giggled, mixing the cake batter with his hand.

"Yah! Help mommy! Love mommy!"

"Mom..." Yoongi breathed, eyes wide.

Byungwoo said nothing, watching his son as the video played.

"Mommy loves you too, babypie." The woman kissed Yoongi's messy, cake batter splattered hair.

"Am babypie." Yoongi giggled.

Subconsciously, Yoongi crawled closer to the video, enraptured by the image of his mother. The one he hadn't seen in twenty years.

Yoongi pulled his hand out of the bowl and licked his fingers, watching his mom pour the batter into a cake pan and slide it into the oven.

"Mommy! When cake be ready?" He called, as chocolate dripped to his sock covered feet.

"It'll be a while, baby. Should we get you bathed? You're a chocolate boy." She scooped him up and Yoongi shrieked with giggles as she kissed his chubby cheeks.

The video ended and Yoongi stared at the replay button, a million emotions crashing inside of him.

Hesitantly, as if Byungwoo would scold him for it, Yoongi reached his hand out and with a shaky finger and played the video again.

He scooted a little closer to see the video better. "Mom...mommy..."

Byungwoo smiled when he saw Yoongi regressing at the video, and handed the boy the stuffed puppy again.

Yoongi took it without tearing his eyes off the video. "What...what was her name?"

"Min Song-Ara." Byungwoo said.

"Mommy...babypie." Yoongi whispered, falling back with his mothers face in his thoughts as Yoonie emerged.

"Am babypie!" Yoonie giggled, throwing his hands into the air. "Hello!"

"Hi there," Byungwoo chuckled, pocketing the phone.

Yoonie looked around and got scared when he didn't recognize the dark basement, and saw he was in a chained cage. "Oh no...Yoonie was bad puppy?"

"Yoonie...do you remember me?" Byungwoo asked, leaning in.

Yoonie looked at him, confused. He blinked a few times and cuddled the puppy close to his chest. "Where Yoonie's cutest Namjoonie? Where Yoonie's best friend Jiminie?"

"Do you remember me, baby?" Byungwoo asked again.

Yoonie cocked his head, his pouty lips frowning. "Bad man..."

Byungwoo closed his eyes for a long time. "Yes...but you forgave me, remember?"

Yoonie was distracted, picking up as many stuffed animals as he could in his arms. "Yeth, Yoonie knows. Yoonie gives best hugs."

"Do you still forgive me?" Byungwoo asked. "Do you think you could convince the others to as well?"

Yoonie shook his head, tucking the stuffed animals into one of the fluffy blankets. "No."

"I- what?" Byungwoo gasped, not expecting that.

"Yoonie un-forgives bad man." Yoonie turned his back to the man. "Bad man should have been good boy in jail and not comed back out, but bad man did! Yoonie loves Sugie and even Agustie, but now Yoonie can't find either! All because of bad man being bad boy!"

He glared over his shoulder at a stunned Byungwoo. "Yoonie is good babypie, but why is Yoonie in timeout spot when bad man should be instead?"

Byungwoo didn't know what to say. For some reason, having Yoonie 'un-forgive' him...hurt.

"Yoonie, listen," Byungwoo tried. "I had to break out, I had to come see you! This was all for you, baby!"

Yoonie crossed his arms and shook his head. "Yoonie did not ask for! Yoonie did not want his Yoongie hurted! Even scary Agustie didn't deserve getting hurted! No! Bad man no gets Yoonie's hugs anymore!"

Familiar anger spiked in the man and he growled. "Yoonie..." Then he sighed, forcing himself to calm down. "Okay...you're right, I did do some bad things. What can I do to earn your forgiveness again?"

Yoonie kissed his stuffed penguin and laid it beside the others. "Need do many things. First, let Yoonie out of timeout spot. Yoonie was not bad babypie, Yoonie no deserve being locked in timeout spot!"

Byungwoo didn't want to let his son go, but Yoonie didn't know how to fight, so he was the alter the man was most okay with letting out.

"Fine." Byungwoo pulled out his own key and unlocked the large padlock.

The chains fell off immediately when the padlock hit the floor, and Byungwoo opened the cage door.

Excited, Yoonie crawled out, sitting down in the middle of the room with his hands flat on the floor and his knees bent around them as he looked around. "Where Yoonie at?"

"What's the next thing?" Byungwoo asked.

"Take Yoonie to his cutest Namjoonie." Yoonie nodded, reaching his arms up for the man to carry him to Namjoon.

Byungwoo crossed his arms. "No, that won't happen."

Yoonie frowned. "Have to!"

"No-"

"Yes!"

"No."

"Yes!"

"Yoonie-"

Yoonie screamed, throwing a tantrum on the floor. "Yes! Have to take Yoonie home if want forgiveness! Now! Take Yoonie to Kitty now!" He cried, pounding his fists and kicking his feet.

"Yoonie," Byungwoo growled, his anger returning. "Enough! Stop it! You're never going back!"

Yoonie wailed harder, his face turning red from the force of his screaming and crying. "Bad man bad forever! Yoonie never forgive again! Big ugly meanie stupid smelly icky bad-"

Byungwoo leaned down and flipped the boy over, his hand raised. "You will listen to me! Stop crying!"

Yoonie gasped, flinching as Byungwoo's hand came striking through the air-

The man was shocked when his son's hand shot out and grabbed his wrist, stopping him from slapping Yoonie.

Yoonji glared. "I know you weren't just about to hurt a defenseless little baby, you disgusting man."
