Min Byungwoo peered out from the alley way, his black mask obscuring his face.
It was evening out, and there weren't any people nearby, except for one person exiting the building Byungwoo was spying on.
He stuffed his hands in his stolen coat pocket, feeling the shard of glass he had found, and walked quickly across the road.
He approached the unsuspecting man who was whistling as he headed to his car, not hearing the criminal sneaking up behind him until it was too late.
Principal Barnes gasped when an arm wrapped around him, yanking him close to a body. Something sharp poked his side and he froze.
"Where is Min Yoongi?" Byungwoo whispered, holding the man hostage.
"Please don't hurt me!" Barnes cried. "You can have my wallet, it's in my coat pocket! Just take it!"
"I don't care about your credit card debt, I want to know where my son is." Byungwoo hissed, digging the glass in a little deeper.
Barnes cried out. "He's not here anymore! He left to teach somewhere else! Please just let me go, I have a wife and kids!"
"Where is he teaching now?" Byungwoo pressed.
"Uh, oh God, it's a university! Hay- something! Please, you can look it up online! It's not too far from here!" Barnes pleaded.
"Give me your phone." Byungwoo said.
"Okay, okay, no problem." Barnes quickly dug his hand into his pocket, pulling out the device. "Here!"
Byungwoo snatched it up, stuffing it into his own pocket. "Give me all your cash as well."
Barnes complied, his heart pounding as he handed over all his cash.
It wasn't much, less than a hundred dollars but better than nothing.
Byungwoo pocketed the bills. "You breathe a word about this to anybody, especially the cops, and I'll kill your wife and children."
Barnes sobbed. "No, please! I won't! I swear!"
Satisfied the man wasn't lying, Byungwoo pushed him to the ground, tucking the glass shard away in his belt again.
"Thank you for your assistance, Mr. Principal." He grinned.
It was then that Barnes finally recognized the mans voice. "Wait...you...you're Yoongi's father! How did you get out of prison?"
Byungwoo raised a finger to his lips. "Remember, not a word about this to anyone, or your whole family will pay for your mistake."
Barnes watched him go, disappearing into the night as tears ran down his face.
His youngest just turned one, he couldn't risk it.
"I'm sorry, Yoongi. I'm so sorry."
