This ship is... okay.
I mean, it's tons better than Cleril, and honestly Turtle is a lot more crucial to her development than Clay.
But I still don't ship them.

I mean, I wouldn't put up a fight if they ended up together, but I still think Peril is better single. Turtle is a great friend who helps her, accepts her, and they act like they've known each other forever the moment the met. They're like... platonic soulmates.

Honestly, I think it would be fine if they were an item, as long as Peril knows that she doesn't need to follow his every command. And I really don't think that's a problem.

Just one issue, though.
Turtle is five. Peril is eight.

Now, that's only a three year gap, so not much of a problem, but unlike Glorybringer, uh, Turtle's a kid.
In two years, sure, ship, whatever, but not now. That's just... weird.

I still don't ship it, because, uh, I ship Turtle with someone else (not Kinkajou don't worry) and I think Peril's better off single.

This is one of those things that I have a real weak opinion on, but uh, yeah, you guys can yell at me in the comments.
