I was planning on doing Cleril next, but this one caught my attention, so.
Alright, so Gloybringer is overall a pretty cute ship, but it does have some problems.
Now, I've heard some people calling it pedophilia, which I don't agree with, since they're both definitely adults by now, I mean, Glory's a dang queen now, she's not a dragonet anymore. They do have a pretty spacious age gap, but they're both adults, so as long as Deathbringer isn't stalking her anymore, I think it's fine. And I have heard of, and met, many couples with larger age gaps, and besides, age in Pyrrhia is calculated completely differently, so in my head they're only a few years apart which makes more sense. I don't think Tui intentionally made a ship with a huge age gap...

I mean, if you want pedophilia, some people are shipping Moon (who is 4) with Darkstalker, who is thousands of years old. Glorybringer are birthday twins compared to that.

But that isn't my main issue. It's that, well, he legit met her by trying to kill her.
Yes, I know, he's her bodyguard now, but uh, I really wouldn't trust him for that job if I were her, there is definitely a chance he's just pretending to be loyal so he can get super close to her, then murder her.
Yey violence. :D
No I'm kidding.

But unless that's confirmed, it isn't really anything more than an interesting theory.

Another big issue, though, is the equality of this ship. Deathbringer went right from assassin to loyal bodyguard, but maybe a bit too loyal, and he sort of reminds me of Peril.
Oh, yes, I will definitely talk about Peril.
But what I'm trying to say is, Glory needs her space. It isn't exactly like Cleril since she shares the feelings, but I still think Deathbringer can stop treating her like a dragonet. After all, it is leading some people to think this is pedophilia...
But as long as she doesn't start saying "goo goo ga ga," I think we're fine. Glory is probably more mature than Deathbringer anyway...
