So many people seem to find justification in Darkstalker's actions, simply because "he thought he was doing the right thing"

Really?

So you think, that Darkstalker genuinely thought he was doing the right thing for Pyrrhia when he forced his father to disembowel himself.
When he tried too enchant his best friend to completely forget about the love of his life, pretending it was an innocent and kind gift.
When he tried to kill his own queen, who respected him and helped him and took his ideas for the war, and quite gruesomely, just so he could "fix" Pyrrhia.
When he tried to wipe out an entire tribe, just because of something their ancestors did?
When he tried to make the IceWings cough up blood, so that Pyrrhia would be a better place? What?
And many more acts that put dragons in danger.
I mean, yeah, we got to see his point of view, but it was his point of view before he actually became a villain. He tells us it's for the better of Pyrrhia, but I just don't see how.

And even after the winglet knew about this, they still gave him so many chances. So did Clearsight and Fathom. And no, Indigo shouldn't have killed him right away, but everyone just kept making excuses for him, mostly because he convinced them he was still good, even when he was completely evil. All along he pretended to be the good guy, knowing that he wasn't, even putting a spell on his girlfriend to make her think he was innocent.
But he didn't even put a spell on Moon, yet she still thought he deserved another chance? Everyone deserves second chances, but not any more. He proved to them that he couldn't be trusted, he even told Qibli that he couldn't rule Pyrrhia alone without making bad decisions. He couldn't even see what was wrong and what was right.
But yet, they still gave him another chance and an opportunity for a happy life. Even his own creation told us that he, and his very soul, was almost entirely evil, and the winglet knew it too.

This is when I say I liked Darkstalker before it was cool. You know, when he was actually kind and sweet and funny. But the poor dude was just written to be a disaster.
