Okay. I have one question. Just one.

WHY DID SHE HAVE TO FLIPPING DIE?!
This character had so much potential! She was brave, loyal, and an amazing fighter. And really loyal. If Peril had saved her in time, she could have been really helpful, especially with the whole Queen Scarlet situation. I kind of secretly ship her with Winter BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT. I think she might've had a little crush on him and she would help him with Hailstorm. If she lived.
Her loyalty to Queen Ruby just proves that if you're a good dragon, and are on the right side, then she will be loyal to you, and she could've had an awesome relationship with the Jade Winglet.
I have an AU where Sora doesn't do the whole exploding the history cave thing, and Icicle actually succeeds in killing Starflight, and that's what Moon has to use her powers on, to find out who did it, and I feel like the Sora thing was just a filler to make MudWings important. I think, instead of Sora being bad, she could help them find out that it was Icicle, since they're clawmates. Carnelian would've survived, and gotten the character development she deserved.
Carnelian has flaws too, being insecure on the inside and being rather mean, but like I said, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Instead of Peril, she should've gotten book 8, and helped with that stuff, becoming a friend to Peril too.
But noooo. She had to die. For what, the sake of MudWings being important?
I refuse to accept this as canon.
