The day didn't start of well at all, Severus had woken up during the night in Little space in his adult body calling for his daddy, Harry was up right away when he heard this 'Little monster' crying out for him.

He rushed to Severus' room and when he found him in a soaked and messy diaper dripping with sweat he knew something as wrong and he shouted for Mitzy right away.

"Mitzy can you get me a change of clothes for Severus including diaper and then run a lukewarm bath and then head to the infirmity and ask for Poppy to come here right away, please" said Harry to the house elf coming to attention as he listed of things for her to do.

"Rights away Sirs" and she got the stuff right away as Harry started to strip the crying man who constantly asked for his daddy.

"'Addy no feel good" "icky" "hot" "wahahahaha!" screamed Severus so much in Little space Harry wondered if he would change into a baby, he wasn't sure. He managed to get his top off and was about to do is diaper when Poppy came through the Floo following Mitzy to her patient.

"Oh, the poor dear" she said when she saw Severus screaming and Harry cleaning the sweat of him and whispering reassurances to him the whole time "it's ok baby boy, Poppy is here to make you all better" said Harry when he noticed her, he smiled weakly to her.

"Well the infirmity is always open to these kinds of things, but first lets get this little one, washed and put into something clean and then we will head down" said Poppy, Harry nodded and picked up his Little and carried him to the bath, Severus crying the whole time.

Harry lowered him into the bath after taking of his diaper can cleaning him up only for him to cry out more "'Addy no!" as he stayed attached to Harry the best he could, "it's ok baby we just want to clean all this icky sweat of you and then we will get you sorted for the time being" said Harry as he washed him quickly.

Once he was finally washed and dressed after much fighting, Harry was able to take Severus down to the hospital wing so then Poppy could take a look at him.

When they entered Harry was thankful that Poppy led them to a privet room and put up a silencing charm up so then no one could hear poor Severus' cries of pain and discomfort, all he wanted to do was stay with Harry no matter what, he was so deep in headspace Harry wondered if he would remember any of this.

"Ok Sev, I'm going to put you down on this nice bed so then Poppy can do a diagnostic on you to see why your poorly is that ok?" asked Harry but all he got in return was crying, along with snot and tears and a muffled 'no' now and again.

 "The poor dear, he seems to have completely slipped, like when he has turned into a baby but he hasn't for some reason which is good on our part as he has a high fever and if he was a baby, the fever would only get worse" said Poppy after she read the results, the whole time watching Harry as he ran his hand through Severus' hair, slowly but surely comforting him the best he could.

Once finally asleep, Harry was finally able to get up, smiling slightly towards the man in the bed, 'oh Sev' was all he thought as he left the room after he did a spell to alert him to Severus when he woke up. He checked the time and saw that it was 2am, no one should be up at this time, he hummed as he left the room.

"Oh Harry thank god, has Severus fallen asleep yet?" asked Poppy as she came out of her privet quarters and gestured to him to take a seat at her desk. "Yes he has finally, half an hour of a back rub and running my hand through his hair, worked like a treat to be honest, he so tired......" said Harry as he tailed off and yawned.

"Well, its a good thing really he has a very high fever and sleep is the best thing for him right now, the poor dear, I've only ever seen him like this once before, it was after you lost your parents, he over worked himself so much he made himself ill, took him a week to get over it all. Severus wasn't the happiest I have to admit to stay here but I had to do what was right for him" said Poppy as she sipped some tea that Mitzy brought them.

"I see, this is the first time Severus has been like this and its been only three days and I wouldn't wish anyone getting ill, especially the ones who are Little's like Sev, they can just switch back and forth from head space but when they are ill, they tend to stay like that more than anything.

What am I meant to do in this sort of thing anyway, I have classes to teach so does Severus and with him in head space right now and until he's better we cant do either" sighed Harry to her which made her smile, "Harry don't worry about that I can tell Minerva about it all and we can get two subs in until he's better" said Poppy to the young man that sat in front of her, until he got up abruptly and headed back into Severus' room.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"was all Harry could hear as he entered to room, Severus was up and he wanted Harry right away. "'addy, 'addy, 'addy" he cried until Harry was close enough to stroke his face, "come now baby boy none of that you'll make yourself worse" said Harry quietly and calmly to him as he stroked his face more, this help slightly.

"'icky 'addy" was all Severus said to him once he had calmed down enough where only a few tears made it down his face, "I know baby boy, I know" said Harry slightly sitting him up, Severus took this opportunity to lie his head on Harrys shoulder and sniffled slightly, Harry rubbing his back the whole time.

Poppy came in half an hour later and saw the pair, she smiled towards them, they were fast asleep on each other, Harry sitting on the bed at the top and Severus spread out on the charmed bed, thumb in mouth, diaper on show to the world, she could tell right away that he needed a change and so changed him.

As he was being changed Severus slowly woke up, tears in his eyes still, thumb lodged in his mouth and wasn't going to be moved anytime soon. The diaper was down and Poppy was cleaning him with a warm cloth but moved when it went to a sore spot, he whimpered right away and moved so then she couldn't continue. He curled into a ball into Harry's side waking him up, he was a light sleeper now, knowing that he had a Little to look after.

"What?!" was all could say when he woke up, "ah Harry can you get Severus to lie back down please, I haven't finished changing him yet" said Poppy this made Harry look at the weight beside him, Severus in a ball back facing Poppy.

"Sevvy can you let Poppy finish please?" asked Harry to the man next to him and he rubbed his back to make him feel better, slowly but surely Severus uncurled himself and laid on his back letting Poppy finish diapering him "well done, such a big boy for letting her finish" said Harry kissing him lightly on his forehead, Severus smiled and then went back to sleep.

"Sorry about that Harry, I came to check on you two and to spell some medicine into Severus' stomach as that would be easier when I noticed he needed a change, I did hope he would stay asleep when I was changing him but he didn't" said Poppy to him, it was now four in the morning and so they headed off to bed for the remainder of the night.

At 8am, Harry and Poppy finally woke up, instead of going down the breakfast they decided to have it in the hospital wing, having Mitzy bring them food and a few things for Severus who was still napping at the moment.

By 8.30 they had both finished their breakfast and Poppy got on with her work, Harry went back into the room and slowly woke Severus up. "Come on Sev, time to wake up and have some breakfast" said Harry quietly patting his back, it took another ten minutes until he was awake.

"Come on monster time to get up, changed and then breakfast" said Harry once he was awake enough, "no!" was all he said and started coughing and then cried "wwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!" "Come on now, enough of that, time for breakfast and if we ask real nicely perhaps Poppy will let you have some toys to play with ok" said Harry calming him down.

Once calm, Harry started in changing his diaper, and his pj's he wasn't going to let him stay in soaked pj's while he was staying in the hospital wing and called for Mitzy to bring some more clothes, diapers and some of his toys. "Thank you Mitzy" said Harry as she disappeared and only reappeared when Poppy came into the room with a vile of medicine and a bottle for Severus.

Severus was too busy giggling as Harry had tickled him that he never noticed Poppy pour the vile into his bottle of milk, she handed it to Harry and said to him that she had put a pepper up potion in the milk to help Severus but due to it being a fever she couldn't do much else and had to let it run its course, Harry of course was disappointed up knew she was right, this was something he had to fight on his own.

"Thank you Poppy, and now my little monster time for a bottle and then if she lets you, you can have some toys to play with" said Harry to Poppy first and then to Severus who was just staring at the bottle in his hand. "'ine??" he asked and Harry smiled and gave it to him "yes all yours".

"Harry of course it's alright for him to play with his toys, the silencing charm is still on his room so no one will hear you playing or for that matter of fact crying like he was been doing" said Poppy leaving the room making her way to the Floo network to contact Minerva about Severus being ill and in the hospital wing.

"Good morning Poppy what can I do for you?" asked Minerva, "Severus has come down with a fever and is in the hospital wing right now, he his in deep head space and doesn't want to be without Harry, so we need some subs brought in for later on if possible" said Poppy to her, this made Minerva sigh but she knew it was for the best, doctors orders really.

"That's fine Poppy, he needs to get better I'll put the classes in self study for the morning and by the afternoon we shall have someone to cover the classes, how is he right now?"

"Slightly better than 1am this morning when I was called, his fever is still there but its not as high as it was, we just have to let it run its course and I'll put a pepper up potion in his milk every few hours, other than that he's fine" and she closed the network once Minerva nodded.

Mitzy the house elf was just walking passed with a stuff doe and a mini stuffed Severus when she had finished talking to Minerva, "can I help you?" she asked the house elf making Mitzy jump dropping the toys, "Harry Sir asked for toy for Severus Sir" and she bowed after picking up the toys, "very well then can you tell Harry that Minerva will be down later on to check on Severus as well" Mitzy bowed again and nodded to her and went into the room.

"Thank you Mitzy for these" said Harry as she handed the toys over to him, Severus making grabby hands for the doe "'ily, 'ily" he kept saying over and over again until Harry passed it to him, so he would quite down.

"Ok Sev now that we have Lilly and Mini you, I want you to take a nap for me please, your not well still and a nap will do you some good, ok, baby boy" said Harry checking his diaper which was dry and then pulled the cover over him and started to run his hand through his hair, at the same time placed a pacifier in his mouth and slowly but surely Severus was out like a light snoring softly.

Harry walked out of the room, nodding to some of the students in there, who were meant to be in his class right now but ended up here for unknown reasons, "oh Poppy do you mind watching over Sev until I get back, I have to collect some work from my office, if that's ok, Sev is napping at the moment and will be like that for about an hour" said Harry once she found her with a third year who had broken her arm.

"That's fine Harry but be quick as at the moment he's ill and will want you more than anything right now" sad Poppy and he bid her good bye as well as the student. He was on his way to the Defence Against the Dark Arts room when he was stopped by Minerva coming down the hall at a fast pace, if he hadn't of moved she would of hit him.

"Ah Harry just the person I wanted to see, I hear Severus is ill at the moment in time" she asked, Harry nodded to her and asked her to walk with him so he could get some work from his office and then head back to the hospital wing before Severus woke up and knew that he was missing.

"Very well Harry" she said following him to his office, he didn't know that someone might be there, hoping that they were all in self study in the library or even the Great Hall but no, as he opened up the door, a group of students where there.

"What in Merlin's name are you using my classroom as a hang out, when you are meant to be in class" said Harry walking up to them, "the classroom is off limits when a teacher is not here, so explain what you are doing" added Minerva to them.

"We were.... we...... um......." said one student Finnian McBride to them.

"Sorry Professor Potter we didn't know" said another student Oscar Theodore trying to cover for his friend.

"We thought as you weren't here we could use it, for the time being" said the last student Mitsuki Takahashi, the new transfer student said.

"What are your years and Houses" said Harry saying nothing to Minerva who was quietly watching from the door.

"Hufflepuff, 3rd year" said Finnian

"Slytherin 2nd year" said Oscar.

"Slytherin 2nd year also sir" said Mitsuki to him.

"I'll speak to your Heads of House and for coming into a classroom, locked I might add, you three will get detention with me, don't you think that is a fitting punishment Headmistress" said Harry turning to her

"Yes that would be wise Harry, they have broken into a classroom during school hours, the classrooms are open for something like this after lessons, not before" said Minerva "come along you three, I'll speak to your Heads of House" and with that all four left the classroom, leaving Harry to gather some work, he could do when Severus was sleeping when he felt Severus needed him and so rushed back to the hospital wing.

Before Poppy could even get him, he had rushed into the room before Severus even cried out for him, Harry placed his work down on the chair and rubbed his back comforting his Little as he woke up fully.

"Hey baby, you're meant to be sleeping like a good boy that you are" said Harry wiping the silent tears that were falling down his face. "'addy scared" was all he said and then full out tears came running down his face.

Severus had woken up due to a nightmare about Harry not being there any more, not wanting him, not loving him and this scared him so much that he woke up only to find Harry there waiting for him to wake up.

"Oh baby boy, you know I'll always be here for you no matter what, I love you" said Harry sitting down on the bed next to him and rubbing his back comforting him. Harry noticed that Lily was on the floor while the mini Severus was on the pillow next to him.

Severus moved and then winced at the movement, this made Harry look at him wondering what had gotten into his Little, "hurts" was all Severus said and he was now crying, "where does it hurt Sev can you tell daddy?" said Harry to him, not even noticing he called himself daddy.

Severus was so upset that he only mumbled something that Harry had a hard time hearing, "what was that baby, daddy didn't hear that", instead of Severus saying anything he grabbed his pj bottoms and tried to pull them down, failing.

"OK Sev, let daddy do it for you, Mitzy can you make a calming potion milk bottle for me, it will help Severus" said Harry calling the house elf to him, "right away Harry sir" and she left.

Harry went about changing Severus' diaper and noticed he had a case of nappy rash and sighed, 'I now need to give him a bath to help that calm down and then use cream' Harry thought to himself. 

"Hurts 'addy"

"I know baby, I know"

Mitzy came back with the bottle and handed to Severus who accepted it right away and started drinking it, "Mitzy can you run Severus a bath please" said Harry to her and she nodded, she waited because Harry had more to say to her.

"Also could you ask Poppy where it is, as well as some cream to get rid of nappy rash" Mitzy was back in five minutes as she had ran a bath for Severus as well as talked to Poppy about rash cream for Severus.

Mitzy showed Harry where the bath was and undressed Severus and gently lowered him into the water making him cry and try to get out right away but Harry kept firm and kept him sitting there until he was comfortable with the pain.

"Better?" asked Harry to him and he nodded.

"Ok then lets get you cleaned and into a nice dry diaper and some clean pj's ok" Severus just nodded, wanting to back to sleep while Harry washed him clean.

Fifteen minutes later Harry was getting Severus out before the water went too cold and made his illness worse than it already was.

"Ok buddy out we come and then you can have something to eat, then some play time and then another nap, ok" making Severus smile slightly at being allowed to play.

As Harry was diapering Severus up and knock was heard on the bathroom door, only to slightly open once he said come in, "oh good Harry your finished with his bath, Minerva is here and wants to talk to you about Severus if that's ok I can send her to the privet room" said Poppy when she poked her head in.

"Yes that's fine tell her I'll be there in a few minutes, I'm just getting him dressed and we will be there" said Harry as he started to put a clean pj top on Severus and he wriggled away, she left right away.

"Come on monster, time to say hi to Professor McGonagall" said Harry picking up the now dressed Severus.

In the room Minerva was waiting for them to arrive "ah Harry" said Minerva, Severus hid right away and wasn't too happy that Harry put him on the bed and handed him Lily and mini Severus to play with.

"Professor what can I do for you?" asked Harry once Severus was playing happily.

"Harry I have spoken to those in question about why they were in your classroom and how they got in when it was locked and it appears someone unlocked it for them, I don't know who but I will find out. Other than that I have come to see how Severus is feeling now" and she looked at him playing and smiled.

"Much better, I think it finally broke when I went to my office, since then he's been much happier but Poppy will have to be the judge of that" and he smiled when Severus screamed in happiness.

"Ah Severus, you seem much better" said Poppy coming into the room to see about his fever as now it was almost dinner time and he squealed yet again, disappearing and reappearing as a baby.

"That's the sign I was hoping for, his body is well enough so then the Little in him can fight the last bit off completely with out the aid of potions and the what-not that comes with staying in here." said Poppy walking up to the bed.

"Pop!" shouted Severus to her holding his arms out happily and when she picked him up he squealed and hugged her tightly the best he could as a baby, as he settled in her arms he finally noticed Minerva sitting by the bed "Mimi" he squealed again and lent forward to be held by her.

((sorry I changed it from Minnie to Mimi, I think it suits Minerva better anyway))

"Come here then Severus" and she picked him up and placed him on her lap close to the bed so then he could reach his toys. He held one up to Minerva asking her to play but this just involved whacking the mini him with his doe squealing happily each time.

"Poppy so how is he now?" asked Harry glancing up from his work that he was doing since Severus was now occupied with Minerva and his toy battle that he started.

"Almost a clean bill of health I say, but I would rather him stay away from work for another day or so just to make sure he's 100% and then after that he can get back to work, what do you say Minerva?" turning to speak to Minerva when she said the last bit.

Before she could reply she was hit with Lily by Severus because she had stopped playing with him and he wasn't happy with that, "Severus, that hurt" and she rubbed her nose, he looked down right away and then slowly looked up towards Harry and his face just said "say sorry".

Severus yelped and then tapped Minerva on the check lightly getting her attention as she was now talking to Poppy about covering the two lessons until Severus was well enough.

"Yes Severus" said Minerva when she looked down to him, he had tears in his eyes and looked down, not wanting to make eye contact with her, he was afraid she would yell at him but when he looked back up at her she was smiling.

"Sorry" was all he said and then cried, thinking the worse.

"That's ok and I forgive you but you know you can't hit us with one of your toys right?" she asked him and he nodded, still crying, she hugged him tightly and whispered in his ear.

'as punishment you get to stay with me and have cuddles'

"NO!" was all he said but he was giggling the whole time, this made all of the adults happy that he was on the mend and this meant that he could have something more to eat and see if he could keep it down, unlike he did in the morning when he woke up.

"Harry do you mind if I watch over him for the mean time, I would love to have some bonding with him like I used to do" said Minerva to Harry as he was packing Severus' bag as well as his work, that he was doing.

"By all means Professor, he seems more than happy to stay with you for a while at least, if you need anything I'll be in my office" said Harry handing over the bag and kissing Severus on his forehead and saying "you be a good boy for me and if you are you can have a little treat, ok" and Severus just smiled and cuddled into Minerva, muttering "Mimi" over and over again.

Poppy deemed Severus fit enough to leave but made sure to give Harry some potions just in case something like this happens again and both Minerva and Harry went separate ways, Severus making sure he waved bye to his daddy.

Up in Minerva's office she placed the child down and took out his toys from the bag as well as the ones that she still had when she used to look after him before Harry came along.

"Mimi!" he squealed making her bend down to him only to have him pull himself up into a standing position and taking a step towards her "Mimi" he cried again and tried to start walking but she was in his way and so she moved slightly back and he came towards her unaided squealing the whole time.

"Well look at you, becoming such a big boy even after your fever" and she laughed as he slowly went up to her desk as he saw something hanging from there.

He pulled hard but it wouldn't come down and so he pulled again and again but nothing happened and so he started crying as he wanted it whatever it was.

Minerva looked down at him while she had some tea before she continued on with her work, "oh come now, nothings wrong, you're alright" she said picking him up but he only wanted his new toy that he had found by himself.

"'at, 'at" he kept saying a pointing to the side of her desk, she looked to where he was pointing and noticed a ribbon was hanging down low enough for him to grab, she sighed it was one of her favourites, at present she was using it was a bookmark.

"'at, 'at, 'at" he kept saying and pointing and was getting worked up about having it and not wanting to explain to Harry or even Poppy for that matter gave in to the demanding child.

She placed him on the floor and went to move her paper work so then she could get the ribbon from out of her book she kept there for the evening to relax to after a hard day at work.

Once she got the book, she opened it and pulled the green and silver ribbon out of the book and placed a blue and bronze ribbon inside it instead and handed the ribbon to the child standing on wobbly legs by himself.

"Thank you for asking nicely Severus" said Minerva only to have him say "'tar Mimi" and that was how Harry found him, laying on the floor his toys around him, trying to tie the ribbon on his mini him doll.

"Evening Professor are you ready for dinner?" asked Harry as he walked in to the office, "yes Harry, this little one seems hungry" said Minerva getting up from her work as the same time Harry walked over to Severus who looked up at him and then waved to him smiling away still holding the ribbon in his hand.

"Sev how did you get a hold of that?" asked Harry only to have him say "Mimi" and then waved the ribbon around, squealing with delight as he got up on wobbly legs again.

"Professor would you like the ribbon back?" asked Harry watching his Little start to walk towards him waving the ribbon around happily.

"Don't worry Harry I have plenty of those and he did ask nicely for it and as you can see its also reward for walking" and she laughed slightly as he fell on Harry with a slight 'oof".

"I can see that Professor, well done you Sev. Do you want some dinner?" he asked the child as he was trying to snuggle into his neck, asking to be picked up, which Harry was happy to do.

As they walked to the Great Hall, Sev in Harry's arm waving the ribbon around everyone looked towards the happy giggling, not one of them noticing that it was their Potion's Professor making that sound.

Once at the Staff table, Harry had to almost pry the ribbon out of Severus' hand as he didn't want to let go, "please Sev, you can have it back after you have something to eat ok?" said Harry trying to reason with the child but said child want having any of it all.

"NO MINE!" he screamed to Harry not wanting him to have it, it was his after all right Minerva gave it to him and not Harry.

Harry sighed and tried to reason with him again, knowing somewhere in there was his adult mind, "Severus, I only want to have a look and keep it safe while you have dinner, can I please?" he asked the child but Severus was being stubborn and not giving in. 

"No mine!" he said so that only harry could hear him.

"Ok Severus how about mini you wears it until after dinner, how about that" said Harry getting the doll out of the bag that it was in, Severus looked and slowly handed the ribbon over and watched, more like stared at him as Harry took the ribbon and made it so his doll was wearing a scarf.

"Wow!" was all Severus could say and Harry placed the doll next to him and look him in the eyes, "Sev I want you to eat your dinner and then we are going back to our room, Poppy said you can leave the hospital wing now that you're better".

Severus nodded and looked down at his plate that Harry had given him, it had cute up pieces of chicken, some mash as well as peas and carrots and a bit of gravy on top of it.

"Nummies?" he asked Harry making most of the Staff table look at him, "yes Sev its nummies, can you eat it like a big boy, I know you are" said Harry, Severus smiled and picked up a piece of chicken and put it in his mouth and started eating, "that's my big boy" said Harry to him and the table continued eating their dinner along with the students.

"'nished" said Severus to Harry when he as done and didn't want anymore, he had left his peas of all things, Harry turned to him and noticed this and just said "a handful of peas and then you can have your treat".

"NO!" said Severus as he threw a handful of peas at Harry, only to have him picked up and brought to his room and placed in the playpen with no toys in it. 

"Mitzy, can you give the teachers a message form me please" said Harry as the house elf appeared to him.

"Yes Harry sir"

"Can you tell them that I'm sorry for leaving like that but Severus needs a time out, please" said Harry and right there and then Mitzy was gone.

He turned to Severus who was looking depressed with himself.

"Severus look at me" said Harry but he wouldn't so Harry placed two fingers under his chin and made him look at him.

"Severus that was naughty you shouldn't throw food at someone, all I did was ask you to have a handful of peas, that was all and then you would of gotten a treat, that was all and now you cant have it" said Harry making a sad face so then Severus knew he did bad.

"No nummies?" he asked making Harry shake his head, "sadly no Severus, perhaps after a timeout, you might get it back" said Harry letting go of his chin and sitting on the sofa across from Severus in his playpen and started to read a book.

Ten minutes later Harry got up and walked over to the playpen and noticed silent tears going down Severus' face, "ok monster you can have your treat but I want you to say sorry to me about throwing food" said Harry getting him out.

"Sorry" said Severus and buried his head in Harry's shoulder and silently cried as Harry walked over to the kitchen table and placed him in his high chair and strapped him in and then he went into the kitchen to grab a small piece of cake for him.

"Here you go monster, a small piece of cake like I promised" said Harry placing it in front of the child who's eyes lit up, like he had won the lottery.

"Tank ou" he said and started to eat it, enjoying the cream and jam, making a right mess with it all, this made Harry laugh grabbing the wet wipes out of the bag, ready to clean him up after he was finished.

"'inished" said Severus holding his arms up to signal he was done and wanted out.

"Hold on mister, I have to clean you up and then change your dirty diaper and then you can play in the playpen while I finish my work and then it's bed time for you" said Harry starting to clean him up.

Harry got him out once he cleaned his hands up and headed to this room and placed him down on the changing mat and started to get to work, once clean and in a dry diaper Harry carried him to his wardrobe and let Severus pick out his pj's for the night which happen to be black but it had red, yellow, blue and green stars on them, Harry had just bought them today when Severus was with Minerva.

Harry placed Severus in his playpen with lots of toys to keep him comfortable and entertained while Harry got a shower and finished his work which happened to only be his lesson plan, until there was a knock at the door.

Harry checked the time and it was 8.30pm it was time to get Severus into bed soon, when he got up after checking the time, he noticed that Severus was fast asleep in the play pen holding on to Lily for dear life.

He went to the door to see who it was after putting Severus to bed.................................
