Harry was hoping that it was going to be a normal day, Severus was up and was in Big space and he hoped that he stayed that way through the day, he had so much to do today and so little time to be honest, it was a day that he had to make the potions for Poppy as well as St. Mungo's a day that he hated but it was part of what he did as a potion's master as well as dealing with his 'dunderheads' as he called his classes as no one could manage to make the potion up to his standard but they were passable at best.

Harry was in the kitchen having a cup of coffee when Severus walked in with his normal glare on his face and right away Harry knew something was going to happen today but once he saw the glare aimed at him he stopped and carried in drinking his coffee, Severus just took a sip of his and left their rooms and headed towards the Great Hall. He wasn't in the mood to deal with Harry, even if he felt bad for doing this.

Harry followed at a slightly slower pace as he had to pick up things that he knew Severus would need sometime during the day, he made sure to shrink everything once in a bag and then placed everything into his pocket, once done he headed to the Great Hall for breakfast it was still early so he could keep an eye on Severus and his changing mood, Harry had a feeling today wasn't going to turn out the way he wanted it to be.

Once sitting down he looked towards Minerva and once she looked at him he inclined his head towards Severus and his ever darken mood, Harry could tell that at any moment he would have a crying Little on his hands if the magic around him was any indication of it happening. The slight glow coming off him was getting stronger and stronger.

It was getting stronger and by this time all of the staff members knew what was going to happen and so Harry got up and went to talk to Severus about it all but the magic was strong, "Potter leave me be this instant!" was all he said but Harry persisted and in no time he was now holding Severus in his arms before he fell out of his chair as he changed.

"Damn!" was all Harry could say under his breath as Severus started to cry in his arms, "Headmistress could you do a little damage control while I sort him out" said Harry as everyone was now looking at him. Harry tried his best but Severus was so upset about everyone finding out his true classification that it only made him feel even worse, thank god Harry had packed his Little bag of his.

"Students quite now, please!" said Minerva to everyone in the Great Hall, making everyone look at her but she knew they were looking at Harry and Severus more than anything in the world. "I know this is sudden but I would like to remind everyone that there is a Little present and that he is very upset and distort at this moment so I would like all of you to be quiet".

Everyone stopped talking right away as they all knew that until they were quiet the Little wouldn't stop crying. "Thank you" said Minerva to them and looked towards where Harry was standing but now he was gone, she knew he was trying to calm Severus down only for him to return with a now sniffling Severus holding his doe.

"Minerva is it ok if I speak to them for a moment please?" asked Harry lightly bouncing Severus lightly, she smiled at him and nodded so then he could step forward and address the school.

"I would like everyone to listen to me carefully as I am only going to say this once, no questions thank you..." Harry started off until a third year Hufflepuff put up their hand to ask a question "... everyone knows about the classifications, everyone gets classified in seventh year, I was classified as a guardian which is rare in itself, your Professor Snape hid his classification until a few days ago when I found out what it was.

As you can see he is a Little and when he is under stress or his emotions are high, that completely depends on that moment he will turn into his Little form, each Little has a headspace that they will turn into, your Professor here is about a year old and he will stay like this for a while.

I would like each and everyone of you to understand how this effects him in many ways, I as his carer will look after him in times of need but other than that he is still your Professor and will still teach you when he's back to normal".

Harry sat back down and gently pulled at the toy so then he could have it, in front of him was now a bottle and some baby food all ready for him to feed Severus but he wasn't given his toy up without a fight on his hands.

Minerva took to the front of the Great Hall "students please listen as well, I will not tolerate any rumours that go around about Professor Snape's classification if any of you do it will be detention with me, a letter to your parents as well as the Ministry outlining everything that has happened, this could lead to expulsion on your part, do I make myself clear?!" she said making everyone nod understanding what she was saying no one wanted their parents involved in something like teasing someone about their classification.

Severus kept hold of his doe and kept turning his head not wanting his breakfast no matter how hard Harry tried "Sev come on now time for breakfast and then I think a nap is in order huh?" asked Harry quietly, this made Severus look at him slowly tears still in his eyes.

Harry smiled to him and held out his hand for Lily, it took time and by the time Severus handed over his doe half of the student body had stopped staring at him, "well done Sev, well done, now Lily can sit here and you can have some breakfast" smiled Harry happily making Severus smile towards him.

After half of his breakfast was finished Severus held up his arms to Minerva and said "Mimi hug" which in turn made her smile and Harry handed over the Little so then he could have his breakfast while he watched the students who were still staring that their Potion Master now in their Headmistress' arms happy trying to eat her breakfast.

"I would appreciate everyone who is still staring stop otherwise each and everyone one of you will have detention with me at lunch and after dinner tonight for a week, I may look soft but if I have to remind you all of what I did two years ago I will" said Harry not looking up from his food, everyone then stopped staring and carried on with their breakfast.

"Thank you Minerva for having him while I ate, I hate that everyone has found out about his classification, it isn't ideal for it to be found out this way but I had a feeling it would of happened one way or another" said Harry as he got up to leave, holding on to Lily as he picked up Severus who was almost asleep.

"Harry that's quite alright, I too had a feeling it would happen but no so soon, he has hidden it for years, so many years that it was bound to happen. Now that he has you as a guardian I think he feels relaxed even if he doesn't show it as an adult" and both of them laughed making the Little stir slightly in Harry's arms.

"I'll bring him with me to class and make sure I put silencing charms on him so then he can sleep for a few hours he needs it as I have a feeling that he wont be changing back for a while" said Harry as Eli climbed up his leg and sat softly on Severus' chest as if guarding him from onlooking students as they left the Great Hall.

Inside the DADA classroom Harry had put silencing charms on Severus as he transfigured a bit of parchment into a bed and place him inside, Eli right away climbed onto the bed and laid down but Harry new that he was alert and ready to pounce on anyone that would harm the Little.

Harry was setting up the classroom for duelling when their was a knock on his door, looking at the time, he was running about five minutes late which with everything that had happened at breakfast he was surprised that it was only five minutes.

He went to the door and standing outside were the second years laughing and joking and not paying attention to when Harry had opened the door. 

"I think that will be quite enough of this, if I have to remind you to line up and be quite, instead of your lesson it will be lines. Also a reminder of not twenty minutes ago that their is a Little in my care and at this moment said Little is sleeping" everyone stopped and lined up, Harry let them into the classroom and had them stand on either side to the duelling platform.

"Hufflepuff one side, Ravenclaw on the other please, one student will be called of each house to come up and duel only use simple charms to disarm each other, only disarm, everyone understand? I will tell you what to do so.... to begin with Antony Blue from Hufflepuff and Willamina Clements from Ravenclaw one on each end please" said Harry explaining and then picking two students at random.

He glanced at Severus who was still sleeping, Eli coiled on his stomach ready to attack.

Each student took up a place on the platform and waited for instruction from Harry who smiled to them as he got up in the middle to explain how to duel.

As the class went on one student by the name of Raven Wiltshire crept towards the sleeping baby only for her to scream when she came in contact with Eli the Ashwinder snake sleeping on Severus.

Harry stopped the class right away and came up to where the scream had come from and by the looks of it she was only startled by Eli and nothing more. "Miss Wiltshire may I ask you why you are here and not with you're class right about now, you do know that right?" he asked quietly as if he was trying to get his anger under control.

"Sorry Professor I didn't mean to I just wanted a closer look at him that was all" she said shying away from the look that was given to her, Eli looked at Harry and said

'Master she tried to hurt him,  hurt Little, my snakeling!! I bite her next time'

'Ok Eli I will get to the bottom of this' said  Harry as he took his wand out and rearranged the classroom into desks.

"I would like everyone for the rest of the lesson to read chapters twenty to twenty four about different types of duelling and charms used, tomorrow will be a quiz and if none of you at least get a seventy mark on it I wont be happy. Miss Wiltshire before you start on that I would like to have a privet word with you about listening in my class" said Harry turning his attention to the girl afterwards.

"Yes Professor" said Raven as she stayed at the front of the class while everyone got on with their work.

"So..." asked Harry to her

"Professor all I wanted to do was have a closer look that was all honest to Merlin, that's all it was"

"Ok but you have detention after dinner tonight for an hour to catch up on the part of lesson that you have miss....." he was stopped by Eli piping up

'She liar!'

'How so?'

'She said she hurt Little, my snakeling!!'

'Oh!'

'Look in hand, something bad smelling'

'Ok Eli, ok no need to get upset I'll ask her calm down or you'll wake Sev up'

Harry turned to the girl as he hadn't dismissed her "Miss Wiltshire can I ask what is in your hand right now, Eli said you had something to hurt my Little here and I know Eli doesn't lie as he is my familiar so I would like the whole truth now" said Harry (finally made the right decision about Eli here people)

Raven looked at him and then at the snake and threw what she had in her hand onto Harry's desk... it was a vile of a potion he didnt know and with Severus the way he was he was no help at all... damn!

"Miss Wiltshire I think you should take a trip to the Headmistress for this, I know that most people don't like Professor Snape but that doesn't mean you can do something that will harm anyone with a potion that could be harmful" said Harry raising his voice loud enough that everyone could hear him making everyone cringe at what he said.

"Class dismissed!" he shouted after a few minutes making everyone run out of the classroom so fast he wondered if they had used their brooms. This woke Severus up right away and he was crying, Harry picked him up right away and frog marched the girl to Minerva.

Inside the office Severus was still crying as he was still tired and all he wanted was to sleep, Minerva was pacing her office while Raven was sitting on a chair looking at the floor saying nothing, everyone was waiting for someone from the Ministry and her parents to arrive, this meant Harry's class were sent to the library to self study, seventh years, he knew would study.

Within twenty minutes everyone was their and asking questions as Harry was a Parseltongue he was able to get the full story from him.

'I sleeping with Little, my snakeling, when girlie here no listen to Master class came over, woke me up due me smelling bad smell in hand. Girlie wanted take object in Little, my snakeling month and pour bad smell in mouth, make ill. No good! So I scare girlie, she scream and Master came over. Master ask girlie she liar!! Threw bad smell on desk. Little, my snakeling no help so we here' said Eli to Harry making everyone look at him so then he could translate.

"Eli here is my familiar so he cant lie, he said he was sleeping to keep guard of Severus here and she came over to where he was sleeping holding something in her hand, it smelt bad and so woke Eli up, she wanted to pour the potion that she had in her hand into his mouth but Eli was protecting Severus and so scared her, this brought her to my attention right away and asked her what happened.

She said that she just wanted to look but Eli knew she was lying and so I asked again and this time she threw this on my desk" said Harry holding up the vile of dark red potion in it "Eli also said that because she didn't say anything else I gave her detention as well as telling her that we will be coming here" finished Harry now that Severus was calm.

The Ministry official came up to him and glanced at Severus and then smiled slightly "Miss Wiltshire trying to harm a Little is one of the worst crimes out there they are precious and should not be harmed, you will hereby come along with us along with you're parents to sort this out"

"Raven how could you do this, Professor Potter here saved us from one of the worst wizards out there when he was only seventeen years old for crying out loud" said her father

"You trying to harm his Little is one of the worst things you could do, he saved all of us!" screamed her mother making Severus cry again "'Addy no wike, no wike"

"Sev it's ok they didn't mean to" said Harry setting to calm him all over again.

"I think that it has been dealt with Miss Wiltshire you are to accompany Ms. Walker here to the Ministry and when we know the outcome you can come back" said Minerva leading them to the Floo network.

After everyone was gone did Harry sit down, he placed Severus on the floor to play but he stayed close to the chair holding onto Harry's pant leg sniffling "nummies' was all that was said making Mitzy come into the room with a tray of tea and biscuits and a bottle of milk and some apple sauce knowing Severus would like that over anything when he was so upset.

"Professor.... no Minerva how can we let a student come back after she tried to harm Severus, what happens if she tried to harm a student or another professor...." Harry almost screamed to her but kept it low enough so it wouldn't upset the Little in the room.

Mitzy had taking Severus to the other end of the room to feed him Eli had followed so then he could keep and eye on what he had dubbed Severus as 'my snakeling'.

"I understand where you are coming from but we have to let the Ministry handle this and once they come to a decision then we will know for no we will have to wait for the results of the potion she tried to give to Severus".

Severus was done with his snack and crawled off Mitzy and headed towards the two adults in the room giggling as Eli slivered towards them faster then the Little could move.

In the middle of the room Severus stopped and put his bum in the air and slowly but surely stood up................

Eli turned round when he didnt hear the noise of crawling behind him and when he looked Severus was standing up on his own unaided.

'Master look, Little, my snakeling standing!'

Harry turned round when he heard Eli speak and he almost fainted at the sight of Severus standing on his own, smiling away, once he saw Harry looking he tried to take a step forward only to fall but thanks to Harry's quick thinking and his Seeker skills caught him before he fell head first onto the floor.

"Sev that was great! Standing all on your own I think we will work on walking later on don't you think?" only to have the Little smile and snuggle into the warmth he was getting from his daddy.

"I got that on camera if you want it Harry" said Minerva to him as he came back to the desk

"That would be great, I need some pictures of Severus like this, he's just too cute. I think I should be going now so then I can set up my classroom for classes after lunch, I only have two more anyway, then this little guy will have his daddy for the rest of the day I think"

Minerva let them go on their way while she got on with the work of the Headmistress of Hogwarts School.

Harry wasn't at all happy with the return of homework he got back from the seventh years, self study hadn't helped them at all and so decided to throw a pop quiz on them right their and then which made everyone groan only to have a happy clap join in.

The looked over to the play pen that was set up next to Harry's desk seeing a happy Little looking back at them, still groaning Harry wrote out seventy questions on the bored asking then to answer them without the use of their books.

He cast a spell locking the books shut and if one tried to open them he would know who it would be right away and give them double the homework than the rest of the class.

It was very quite during the class which as odd as it would be noisy at best but the quietness was deafening at best the only thing that could be hear was scratching of quills on parchment, sucking off a pacifier and blocks being stacked on one another.

Just before the bell went to tell them it was lunch Harry asked them to hand their quizzes in and they would get them back at their next lesson, he was happy that no one decided to open their books, he was in an fowl mood due to what happened earlier and everyone could feel his magic snapping but said nothing.

At lunch the other teachers could feel his magic, this was a guardian of  Little upset, and nothing could sort it until they had calmed down themselves, what surprised them was that Severus didn't bat an eye lid that his guardian was upset he just enjoyed his mash that he was being fed by Mitzy behind the Head Table.

Minerva had told all the other teachers what had happened and they knew not to ask Harry to calm down, his Little had been in danger and he had to wait until the Ministry made their decision on the matter.

"'Addy..... 'addy...... 'ADDY!" screamed Severus after five minutes of trying to get Harry's attention that also brought every attention as well.... "what?!" said Harry as he was brought out of his stewing.

"'addy sad?" asked Severus as Mitzy passed the child to him, "no baby I'm fine honest" lied Harry to the one person he didn't want to lie to but in this case he did which made his heart and stomach clench...................... hard!

Severus just looked him with his famous scowl but him being a baby looked like an angry kitten which made Harry laugh at him which didn't please the child one bit and so decided to ignore his daddy for the time being.

"Pop!" was all he said and stretched his arms towards her asking to be picked up and taking away from his daddy.

"Come on then mister, I think Harry, Severus here knows you're lying to him so I think it's best if you don't mind that is, that I keep him with me while you teach the rest of your lessons" said Poppy as she got up to leave for the Hospital Wing leaving Harry shocked by this.

"You do remember that Severus was a spy, don't you so I think trying to lie to him even when he's like this isn't going to help, that scowl said it all" said Professor Sprout to Harry as she too got up to leave.

"Damn it!" said Harry as he got up and left eating nothing leaving to go back to his classroom and set out quizzes for his last two classes, he couldn't be asked to teach but quizzes always worked to keep their minds working even if some of the questions were above their year level.

Lets say the quizzes didn't please the students one bit but they all knew not to say anything, they all knew something had annoyed their Professor the Saviour of the Wizarding World.

Mean while with Poppy she was entertaining a Little with magic and his blocks that were floating around his head just slightly out of his reach but it didn't bother him too much it was so much fun.

"'Nake!!" screamed Severus when he saw Eli coming into the Wing, right away Eli was wrapped around his leg protecting him, he knew Poppy wouldn't hurt him but after the incident with Wiltshire he didn't want Severus to be alone without him.

"Why is Harry's snake here of all things?" asked Poppy but Eli just held onto Severus in what seemed like a death grip to her but it was something like a hug to Severus, Eli knew not to hurt him but protect him he must.

After what seemed like forever Harry came into the Hospital Wing glumly, Poppy knew he was beating himself up over everything that had happened but he had to let it run its course and hopefully they would get news at dinner if not at breakfast.

Harry walked up to Severus who was now playing with this stuffed toys, he completely ignored Harry when he sat down in front of him, instead he called Poppy to come and play "POP!"

Right away she came running wondering why he had screamed and when she noticed Harry being ignored by Severus she laughed making them both look at her.

"Harry have you apologised to Severus for lying to him because he's holding a grudge at you at the moment, don't hold it personally he just doesn't this when he knows he's being lied to but as an adult he can hid it better then when he's a baby.

He just sighed and pulled the child to him and said "Severus I'm sorry for lying to you over everything daddy is sad at the moment and needs his Sevvy to cheer him up, that's if his Sevvy has forgiven his silly daddy"

Severus smiled the biggest smile, letting his paci fall to the ground as it wasn't clipped on, he nodded and then hugged Harry tightly to him which wasn't that tight but tight enough that Eli was squished between them.

'Help'

'Oh Eli this is where you've been'

'Looking after Little, my snakeling!'

"Ok I'm sorry Severus and I promise not to lie again and Eli thank you for protecting him in class and now" said Harry and then turned to Poppy "thank you again Madam, for looking after him I hope that he wasn't to much trouble".

She just laughed at him and sent him on his was to dinner for the night.

At dinner an owl came swooping in landing in front of Minerva with it's leg out stretched waiting "'wl" yelled Severus making Harry laugh and ruffle his hair "that's right Sev it's an owl, a very pretty owl" stroking it chest slowly only to have it land on his shoulder rubbing its head on Harry's cheek.

Minerva started to read the letter and smiled ever so lightly but because Severus was looking at her he knew something had happened "Mimi?" was all he asked making both her and Harry look at him.

Minerva handed the letter over to Harry to read and he too smiled, the letter read:

Dear Mrs. M. McGonagall, Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

We are writing to you to inform you that Miss R. Wiltshire will be removed from Hogwarts indefinitely due to the incident that happened today at 10.08 am in the Dark Against the Dark Arts Classroom belonging to one Harry James Potter.

The incident involving one Severus Tobias Snape, Little of a headspace of a one year old, while he was napping due to being in his Little form.

Evidence that was supplied by both Miss. Wiltshire and one of Eli, Ashwinder- snake, that the liquid in the vile given to us by Mr. Potter has been tested to be of Bloodroot Poison, said potion can kill.

Miss. Wiltshire has said that she didn't think it was right to have one Professor Snape at Hogwarts due to her dislike of him, we can not tell anyone who to like or dislike but we can not condone any harm to anyone.

As you know Little's and Guardian's are rare in our World and so are due to putting a Little in harms way the proper punishment for this is expulsion from Hogwarts.

Harry smiled again as he put the letter down on the table and held Severus close to him, hugging him tightly making him giggle slightly.

"Such good news to come from a horrible day" said Harry more to himself then to anyone really only to have them all turn to look at him and then at the letter that was left on the table, no one made a grab of it.

"Well what happened why do you too look so happy?" asked Flitwick as he smiled at a now messy Severus who was covered in his pudding as Harry wasn't paying attention to him "'udd'ng nummies!" he squealed delightly.

Harry and Minerva looked down at the squeal and then laughed at the child "oh Sevvy" was all they said and then laughed some more.

Harry handed over the letter to Flitwick and he read it and with a nod from both Harry and Minerva he passed it to the other teachers, each one shocked that someone would harm a teacher and a Little for that matter!

Harry just got up and said something about 'being messy and a bath' all teachers laughed slightly as he left the Great Hall to give Severus a much needed bath.

In their chambers Harry was trying to get a hyper active baby in a warm bath to clean him up but he kept crawling away from him, this was the last and only time he would not pay attention to what Severus had eating, double pudding for goodness sake, one was his!!!

"Severus Tobias Snape get back here young man, it's bath time and afterwards quiet time and then bed" called Harry to the naked as the day he was born baby who was crawling into the living room gigglering!!

Out of nowhere Mitzy popped in and grabbed Severus and brought him back to the bathroom "thank you Mitzy, the little monster had two puddings and is hyper active" explained Harry to her who smiled and popped away.

In no time Severus was washed and put into a warm sleeper for the night and then brought into the living room to read a story and then prepare a warm bottle for the night, he prayed that Severus would turn back to normal, even though it was fun looking after him like this for the day it was still hard, perhaps a day out, just the two of them would be good he hoped.

Severus was on his lap bouncing like he had ants in his pants but Harry knew it was all down to the two pudding he has eating.

"Ok Sevvy its time for quiet time I think" said Harry as he started to read a book that Severus has picked out, it one of his longer books and about half way though the story and a bottle of warm milk he was out like a light, Harry sighed with relief as now Severus was asleep and hopefully for the night.

Harry put him to bed and headed straight for his and thats where they stayed for the rest of the night.

((Sorry that's it's shorter than the other chapters, I've had major writers block on it and this is what I could come up for now, hopefully the next chapter will be back to my normal standard.
