IV
I ran to the third floor. I opened a room to the right of the hall and ran inside, locking the door. Said door was cracked, allowing me to see what happened in the hall. I could hear the woman coming up the stairs. That is when I saw her face.
Oh, her horrid, haggard, old face! I was paralyzed. Her teeth were yellow and bent in all wrong directions. Her eyes were so grey and faded she looked like a corpse; her skin was wrinkled, with fingernails more yellow than the teeth, if that was even possible.
I froze and trembled, agonizing every dreadful second while I heard the maniac rush through the hall in search of me. But she was familiar to me. She had once been a beautiful young lady, with dark black hair and grey eyes; a smile that brightened every room she walked into. What had once been my beautiful sister, was now an old witch; raging with psychopathy.

But, alas, it had not been my fault. I was only looking out for her, like a good older sister. But that is a story for another time. I just wish the Lord forgives me for my sins.
Remember this, dear reader: all your demons will come back to haunt you. No matter how long ago, no matter how small. They will come back for you. It is the famous karma.
I feel my moment has come. She is banging on the door. I know what happens next. She'll drive her knife through my chest; laughing while watching life drift away from my body. She always had issues. We all said she was alienated as a child. But, she was still family; I forgive her...
