it was night and you were currently stargazing on the roof of your apartment complex. Ever since you were young you'd had a big fascination with the galaxies and space and the stars had always been a big part of your life.

"(y/n)," The softly-spoken boy snapped you out of your trance

"Yes Jihoon?" you replied, resting your head on his shoulders.

Jihoon was also a big part of your life, he was your best friend and your support. You also had to admit you had a slight crush on him, and by slight you meant huge.

"The stars sure look pretty today right," you whispered, your eyes not moving from the sight above you

Jihoon only hummed in response, enveloping you with his arms. At this act of affection your cheeks heated up and you turned to him voice slightly croaky

"hey, promise me what I'm about to tell you won't ruin our friendship?"

He looked at you directly and said in a voice almost as soft as yours, "Nothing will ruin or friendship, I promise."

you played with your fingers, avoiding his gaze, "W-well I like you, not in a friendship way but in an 'i want to be with you romantically kinda way',"

Jihoon's eyes widened as a large smile graced his lips. He tilted your head up and looked at you, "I like you too, not in a friendship way but in an 'i want to be with you romantically kinda way as well'."

Soon you were wearing a smile mirroring his, you intertwined hands and looked back up to the stars. You were very lucky to have a star like Jihoon in your life.
