Because I missed Valentine's Day, I spent it with Death Note. (I also have no one else to spend it with)

You sat at HQ, watching as the task force tried to catch Kira (who is really Light, but no one knows it's really him). You and Misa sat together, because Misa is just an addition like you. Everyone was so oblivious to this special day...
Mello walked in. Yeah. He just walked in. Like a freaking badass. [I guess...]

"Hey Mello..," you smirked. "Aww! You got me chocolates? You shouldn't have!"

"HECK NO. I DIDN'T GET YOU ANYTHING." Mello shoved past you and tried to break the sofa as he sat down. He carefully placed the heart shaped box on his lap.

"Aww!!!! Perhaps you bought some chocolate for your buddy Matty boy then, huh?" you wiggled your eyebrows while trying not to laugh.

"No..," Mello's face turned as red as his chocolate heart box. "I bought them for me because chocolates always go on sale during this time..."

You snickered. Sarcasm drenched your voice. "Mmmmhhmmmm. They don't go on sale until after Valentine's Day."

"Shut up."

"Miss _____. Sorry to interrupt, but would you like me to get you some chocolate?" L turned around in his spiny chair.

"Yes! Thanks, L, my dear," you say gleefully.

"My dear...." L muttered. "Watari! Get _____ some of these 'Valentine's Day' chocolates!"

"Yes, Ryuzaki."

"Llllliiiiiiiggggghhhhtttt!!!" Misa ran up behind Light and tackled him into a hug. "Did you get Misa anything for Valentine's Day??"

Light tried to break free. "Oh! Y-yes! I did! Reservations for two!"

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I'LL BE READY IN A COUPLE OF HOURS!!!" Misa ran up the stairs so eagerly, the stairs could've gave way under her. Hours though?

Light pulled out his phone and viciously started typing out random numbers. "Damn it! Is it to late to make reservations? Or else I might have to make it look like an accident..."

Ryuk: Hyuk! hyuk hyuk!

"Hey, hey, hey! How's everyone doing this fiiine Valentine's day!" Matsuda came in, looking spiffy as always.

You checked him out. "Wow! Someone looks extra fancy today..."

Matsuda blushed. "Heh. _____, y-you know I a-always wear a s-suit to work. I'm just in uniform..."

"Woah-ho-ho! What are these you're hiding behind your back, Matsuda!" Matt came in holding a bouquet of roses. "If you have a date, just tell us, man. We're all sort of like family here!"

"Erm..." Matsuda was on fire.

"Ha ha! Just kidding!" Matt walked over to Mello. "I got these for you, Mello."

"Aw! Really? Matt! I got chocolates for you!" Mello was an excited little kid in a candy store.

"HA HA HA! JUST KIDDING AGAIN! You guys are so gullible. I'll take the chocolate anyway. Thanks man!" Matt walked over to you. "Got you some flowers."

"Aw, thanks. It's more than Mello gave me," you say, giving Matt a sweet smile.

"HELL WITH IT! I'M OUT OF HERE." Mello grabbed his leather jacket and stormed out.

"All you're going to see is happy couples!" Matt yelled after him.

*Insert reeeeaaaallly angry door slam and profanity here*

"Wait! There's something I have to do."
You got up.

"Don't go after him, Miss _____, he's a hopeless case." Blunt-as-always man said. ("L said" is too boring. WHAT A WAY TO SPICE IT UP! Although L is always a plain bagel. Ohhhhh!!! [sorry L ;_;])

"No, no. It's something else." You walked over to Near who was silently playing alone. "Aawwww!!! Can I just hug you? You are too dang adorable!!"

"_____, I've done nothing to make you feel this way..." Near kept playing around with his toys.

"Well, maybe it has to do with the date. (Heh. I wish I had a date with Near.) Do you know what day it is? Here. I got you something!" you held out a pink stuffed bear.

This time, Near looked up. "Thank you, _____, your gift is very much appreciated." he went back to playing with his toys, adding in the plushie.

"No problem. If you wanna hang out with us, theres room on the couch.." just an offer. You thought the bear enough would have some kind of sentimental value to him.

"Thank you for the offer, however I will have to respectfully decline. I hope you can understand."

'Gee wiz. It's just a spot on a nearly crowded couch.'

"okay."

"Ryuzaki! Your chocolates are coming in from all over the world on top of the roof." Watari spoke through a speaker.

"Come on, _____. Your chocolates have arrived." L stood and started walking towards the elevator. Everyone
followed, because they wanted to see the type of money L spent this time.

It was literally raining chocolates!

"Yay! Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!" you sang, dancing around in the chocolate rain.

My Valentine's Day was HORRIBLE.
I WENT TO THE BEACH AND GOT STUNG BY A JELLYFISH TWICE.
{Just a little side note: My brother told me that if you ever get stung by a tiny jellyfish, you have to pee on the sting and it will go away. I know. gross, huh? THIS IS JUST FROM MY EXPERIENCES. IT WORKED FOR ME, BUT IF IT'S REALLY BAD, SEE A DOCTOR. I don't want you going around, pissing on some jellyfish just to watch them die.}
Yeah. This is why I hate the beach. And also why I just stay in my house all day.
INTERNET IS SUCKY, BUT I CAN STILL GET CHAPTERS UPP!!!

So, uh. Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you get to be with the ones you love!
