"So, you gonna play or what?" Misa has been bugging you to play her little game for the past five minutes.

"Geez Misa, leave _____ alone for once, will you?" For once, Light is on your side. Misa can be very annoying sometimes.

Misa just gave Light this look of complete and utter disgust. "Well, _____ is my best friend, so I'm sure she doesn't mind. Right, _____?"

"Oh no! It's fine. Sure Misa, I'll play," you chuckled, even though you had an uneasy feeling about sticking your hand  down Mello's boot.

"See, Light? _____ loves me!" Misa smiled so wide I thought she might rip her face open. "Okaaayy! You know what you gotta do!"

You did it because you had to. You closed your eyes and quickly grabbled the first thing you touched out of Mello's filthy old foot covering. (Ha ha Im tired of saying "boot")

Mello smirked. "Why in a hurry, chicken curry?" (Oh my gosh i dont even know... its almost 3 in the morning XD)

Matt rolled his eyes. "Geez, Mello. Do you ever know when to shut up?"

"I DARE YOU TO SAY THAT AGAIN."

*sigh* "Do I have to spell it out?
S-H-U-T U-P."

"WHY YOU LITTLE-"

You pulled out a white chess piece. To be even more accurate, it was a Knight chess piece. What a noble, courageous character.

Something like this probably doesn't belong to Mello or Matt.

It was someone hiding behind the armor. Well, after all, it is always supposed to be the knight in shinning armor.

You walked over to his little corner and crouched down to his eye level. He was staring at his chess board as if he was battling himself.

"Check Mate?" you say, handing him the piece.

"Oh, so I see you've chosen me," Near says, as he held out his tiny pale hands to take back his chess piece.

"Yeeeeupp."

"Well then, I guess it's time for me to play a fair game?" Near got up and started to walk towards a room. "Come, _____, let's go."

Near sat on the bed with a lock of his ivory hair twirled around his finger. You just stood across from him, leaning against the wall.

"_____, are you really going to stand there for seven minutes? I don't want you to faint," Near's hair twirling became more aggressive. I had a feeling he does this to reduce his nervousness. "Why don't you come here and sit next to me?"

'So he really has a few feelings. Even if he's only concerned about my health. Still, it's more than I could ever get out of L..,' you thought.

You got up and walked over to the bed. Near scooted over so you could sit. It was a water bed. How rich is L anyways?

You tried to rearrange yourself to get comfortable on the new terrain. Since you were unbalanced, you started to topple over. You slipped, and tried to grab something to steady yourself. The only thing there was Near. And if you fell, he fell with you because you basically pushed him.

"Woah! Hmm?" Oh gosh! You were laying on top of Near. AHHH ABORT MISSION ABORT!

"Near! Oh no! I'm so sorry!"

Near laughed. Hot dang, his laugh was cute. "Comfy yet?"

"O-oh. Yeah. You practically saved me. Ha-ha!" You were blushing like a chili pepper.

Near just smiled his adorable little smile.

"I'M COMING IN! I HEARD A CRASH!"

Oh Mello.

"OH SWEET CHOCOLATE! _____ IS ON TOP OF NEAR!"

You got up and punched Mello in the stomach. "I FELL! GEEZ LOUISE!"

Matt started to laugh. "This is hysterical."

"Near, I'm really sorry. I owe you one. How about a fair game of chess?" you say.

Near just sat, twirling his hair at olympic speed, and blushing uncontrollably. "Yes, that would be nice. Thank you, _____."

Gotta love awkward moments XD I'm a living, breathing, awkward moment so I probably won't be surprised if anything awkward happened to me. Gosh sorry this is so... hmm... how do I put this... AWKWARD! HA HA!
