NOVEMBER 01, 4:35 AM

"HELLO...OLD RIVAL," LUCIFER stated with a mischievous grin.

Hyunseung immediately went down on his knee, but then Jackson arrived and pulled him away from the scene. "Let these guys handle the ghouls and demons that will be arriving. We're more needed at HAU."

Hyunseung was still speechless, especially when it's his first time to see all their Fathers in one place. But even though he couldn't think of what to say, Hyunseung nodded his head anyway and followed Jackson, Minhyuk following right behind them.

"I have Hyunseung. Sungjae, tell my brothers to head to HAU immediately," Jackson stated, and Sungjae, who is still sending messages to the Arcs and Demons, nodded his head and repeated, "New announcement from Wang Jackson. Demons, head to HAU immediately. I repeat, head to HAU immediately. The rest of the Arcs, eliminate the remaining ghouls and demons at the marks."

     "Copy that."

"We should help out too. Let them have their little reunion," Despair told the other Evil Emotions. "Grim is already heading to where those large sea creatures are. We should clear out the ghouls on the other streets."

"Alright," Pain agreed, pulling Nightmare and running away from the scene with the rest of the Emotions.

The Seven Rulers were now alone with Raphael. But before they could gang up on the angel, the other Archangels arrived, dropping from the sky to join Raphael. Now the two groups were facing each other, just like how the Arcs and Demons were before.

"Well would you look at that, it's the seven deadly sins. How's hell? Still hot I presume," Michael said as soon as he dropped in front of Lucifer.

"You're acting so cocky. Don't forget who won the war between us," Lucifer answered, but Michael only chuckled and answered back, "I know we lost. The Apostles lost. But looking at how things are now, I don't feel like a loser at all. And besides, we're not the ones who are being chained up by our own King, aren't we?"

Asmodeus, who was standing beside Lucifer, growled from the remark. He was about to strike Michael with his sharp claw, but Lucifer immediately stopped him. Asmodeus angrily pushed his brother's hand away from his arm and looked back at the angel, "You're lucky Hyunseung loves your son or I wouldn't be letting Lucifer stop me from gauging your eyes out," Asmodeus warned, and Michael's expression finally softened.

The mere mention of their children instantly changed the tense atmosphere.

"We're obviously not here to fight," Mammon stated, and the Rulers finally calmed down as well.

"Our sons proved to us that even though we're from different races, we don't have to be enemies. I know our beliefs are different from yours, but now it is clear who we have to defeat, and that is the king of hell," Uriel stated, and Belphegor – Taeil's father – looked at him and suddenly stated, "Heard your son proposed to Taeil."

The random question surprised everyone. Uriel didn't say anything, so Belphegor continued, "If your son ever does anything to Taeil, I will destroy heaven myself."

The Archangels fell silent, but Uriel finally smiled and said back, "Same goes to your son."

The Archangels and the Rulers finally loosened up and looked at each other with smiles on their faces. They are old rivals, but now, they're a team. And they're here to help their sons win this war no matter the cause.

"Satan, tell your son to be a lot kinder to Woohyun. The boy is trying," Gabriel stated, making Satan and the rest of the Rulers laugh.

"I guess Sunggyu's stubbornness came from you then," Leviathan commented, making Satan hit him on the head.

"Well then, now that we're buddy-buddies..."Lucifer stated before looking at Michael, "Let's go kick some demonic butt."

AT HAU, 4:35 AM

Jiyong, Seunghyun, Kharon, and Dongmin have been fighting demons left and right since the war started. Not like the other marks, ghouls aren't coming out from the mark at HAU. Instead, large demons and creatures are.

"These guys are pretty easy to kill, but I don't think my endurance can keep up," Jiyong stated before striking a large giant.

"This is the king's plan. We have to make sure we still have the strength when he arrives," Kharon warned, and Jiyong nodded his head in understanding. He hasn't been using his cloning powers because of this, which is why he's having a hard time. And the rain isn't helping him either. Most of their powers come from fire, and this rain is only making it harder for them.

"New announcement from Wang Jackson. Demons, head to HAU immediately. I repeat, head to HAU immediately. The rest of the Arcs, eliminate the remaining ghouls and demons at the marks." Sungjae suddenly announced, making Jiyong and Seunghyun look at each other.

"Looks like the ghouls at the city aren't as overwhelming anymore," Seunghyun stated.

"That only means that the king will be arriving soon," Dongmin then added.

Jiyong took a deep breath and gripped on his weapon harder before releasing a strong force that killed three large bear-like creatures. The king was getting closer, which only means that Jiyong was getting closer to facing the demon that killed him.

"I'm not letting this opportunity go to waste. I'll definitely give him the final blow," Jiyong said with confidence, and just in time, the Demons started arriving one by one.

"Glad you can join the party!" Kharon shouted when he saw Suho and the others flying towards them.

"Sorry, we got a little caught up with that large worm in the middle of the street. We almost couldn't make it if it weren't for Woohyun's warning," Suho stated, making Jiyong look at them with disgust. "Worm?"

"Worm with a thousand eyes and rough scales," Sunggyu added, almost making Jiyong vomit. The two flew beside Jiyong and Seunghyun. Soon after, Jackson and the others arrived, all looking like shit too, especially Taeil. He was already healed by Lay, but he was still exhausted after exerting so much power earlier.

"Just a worm? Don't want to act cocky, but I defeated a big ass octopus," Taeil shared before standing beside Suho to boast his victory. Suho was about to make a counter-statement, but their guardian Kharon approached them and said, "The Rulers are here, aren't they?"

Jackson and Minhyuk, who helped with their escape, looked at their guardian and nodded their heads to confirm it.

"Then shouldn't they be helping us?" Sunggyu asked, but Dongmin joined them and answered for them, "They can't. They know they can't. If they stand too close to the king he might use them against us. As powerful as they may be, the rulers are still connected to the king of hell. It's best if they stick with the Archangels so the king can't take control over them."

"And I'm guessing the reason why Kharon is with us is because he's not connected with the king but with hell instead since he's an elder," Minhyuk guessed, making Kharon and Dongmin nod their head as an answer.

"So it's really just us now. We started this, we're ending it." Minhyuk commented.

Sunggyu looked at his brothers one by one. He said he didn't want to give out speeches; so instead, he placed his hand in the middle of everyone and waited. The sons looked at him confusingly, but then Hyunseung placed his hand on top of Sunggyu's, and the rest finally followed.

"I know we didn't have a great start with each other, and being demons only gave us more bad than good. But I want you all to remember that we're all together because of who we are. And even though we have demonic blood running through our veins, let's not let that define what we should really be. I'm proud of you demons. Let's rewrite our destiny one last time," Sunggyu stated before pulling the hands placed above him upward.

     "Let's do it Demons!"

Kharon and Dongmin looked at the sons with smiles on their faces. This time, even if the prophecy told them that someone was going to die tonight, the two guardians wouldn't be doing anything about it anymore. This time, they trust the Demons and their ability to achieve victory.

"Looks like there aren't any creatures left," Jiyong stated when he noticed that nothing was coming out of the large mark anymore. Fire and lightning could be seen and heard in the distance, indicating that there is still an ongoing battle in the streets of Seoul. But for some reason, the university fell silent.

"Sungjae, can Woohyun see something?" Minhyuk asked while holding his ear.

Sungjae didn't answer, but after a second, he stated, "No, something powerful is blocking him. Woohyun can't go through anymore."

"Do you mean in the university? He hasn't been seeing the activity at the university since earlier, right?" Taeil then asked. But what Sungjae answered next left everyone frozen in their place.

"N-No...he can't see...anything. He can't see the future anymore. Demons, you have to be caref-" before Sungjae could even finish his final warning, the ground started to shake again. But this time, it was a lot more powerful than before. The sons immediately flew from the ground and the buildings swayed. Some even started falling because of how powerful it was.

"This is it! I can feel it coming! We're gotta get fucked real bad!" Suho stated, not really helping since the rest of the demons were already tensing up.

As the ground continued to shake, the sons noticed that the rain was suddenly disappearing.

"What's going on?!" Jackson asked. Taeil was about to ask the same question, but then Dongmin and Kharon looked up on the sky, making the rest of the Demons do the same.

The rain suddenly stopped, and to their surprise, the sky slowly started turning red. Before the demons could even ask what's going on, Hyunseung suddenly fell from the sky and started clenching on his chest.

"Hyunse-" Minhyuk was about to help him, but his body suddenly felt weak too, and he started clenching on his chest like Hyunseung was.

The sons dropped from the sky one by one, feeling the immense pain coming from their chest. Kharon immediately flew to where the sons were and tried to calm them, but nothing was helping. Even he was feeling weak.

He and Dongmin knew what this meant. The sky was turning into blood, giving the demons immense power. Weak demons might not be able to handle it and die in an instant, but demons like the princes of hell had to endure the process first. But even though this occurrence will make them powerful, there was a fact that they have to consider first. And that was the king of hell and the other demons fighting them will be powerful too.

"A-Ahhh!" Jiyong shouted, blood now coming out of his eyes. Jiyong was the most powerful amongst them, making this even harder on him. If he doesn't endure this, he might end up being weak instead of being powerful.

"Jiyong. Calm down. You have to fight this!" Seunghyun shouted as he grabbed hold of Jiyong's arm that was now turning black. It looked like it was rotting. The sky was finally red, causing everything to look like it was covered in blood. Jiyong continued to shout as his powers grew stronger inside of him.

Seunghyun, worried that Jiyong might faint, took a deep breath and closed his eyes before gripping on Jiyong's arm. "I'm sorry Pride," the angel whispered as his hand started to glow.

"Is he-" Dongmin and Kharon looked at Seunghyun with shock. Seunghyun was actually performing an exorcism on Jiyong.

"He's pulling his soul out so Jiyong's body wouldn't end up being destroyed," Dongmin stated as he watched Seunghyun's entire body start glowing now. If Seunghyun couldn't pull this off, he might end up releasing Jiyong's soul permanently. But if he grabs hold of it just long enough for the ground the stop shaking, then he'll be able to pull it off.

"Come on now Seunghyun. Just a little more." Dongmin stated as he saw Seunghyun's own arm cracking now too like it was breaking.

"AHH!" Seunghyun shouted at the top of his lungs, the light on his body growing even more to the point where Dongmin and Kharon had to look away. After a few more seconds of agony, the ground finally stopped shaking. The demons calmed down, and Seunghyun immediately released Jiyong's soul and placed him back inside his body, just in time for him to fall on the ground.

Jiyong gasped for air and touched his chest. He looked at the floor and instantly saw Seunghyun's weak state. He immediately went down on his knees and lifted him up. "Y-You just helped me again. You're one crazy bastard."

Seunghyun gave out a weak laugh. As the demons tried to compose themselves, Seunghyun looked at Jiyong and told him, "I-I'm...too weak to fight...c-copy my power."

"W-What? What are you talking about?"

"Even if Lay heals me, I won't be able to recover immediately. Y-You have to copy my power now," Seunghyun continued to say.

"But I can't, remember? Your touch of death is too powerful for me to copy." Jiyong answered back. But then Seunghyun lifted his hand and touched Jiyong's temple. Jiyong thought Seunghyun was only trying to comfort him, but when he saw his reflection on the puddle, Jiyong saw a black mark on his cheek. Then he realized that all the demons had marks on them. Some on their necks, hand, and even chest.

NOTE: Lust is on the upper left, proceeding to the last symbol, which is Pride.

"Y-You're a f-full-fledge prince now. I think you'll be...able to do it." Seunghyun stated. And before Jiyong could even complain, Seunghyun transferred his power on his hand and showed it to Jiyong so he could easily absorb it.

As much as he wanted to complain some more, Jiyong took a deep breath and grabbed Seunghyun's hand, attempting to copy his power for the last time. Jiyong felt his entire arm burn, but after a few seconds, the burning feeling stopped. Jiyong just successfully copied the most powerful ability of the Arcs.

"Remember, that can only be used ones, do you understand?" Seunghyun asked, and Jiyong nodded as an answer.

Dongmin went to where they were and took Seunghyun from Jiyong's hold. "I'll carry him to his Father and return as soon as I can. Until then, good luck." Dongmin stated. And without waiting for others to respond, Dongmin teleported away.

"Listen up demons. The sky turned to blood, meaning all the demons are twice as powerful as they were, while the angels are twice as weaker. The king did this during our battle with the Archangels and Apostles before, which helped us win the war. It might look like an advantage to us, but this also means that our enemies are stronger too, so I want you all to make sure you use your powers right, and not just attack heads on, do you understand?!" Kharon shouted, and the demons immediately stood from the ground and answer, "Yes sir!"

As the sons stood in front of the large demonic mark on the ground, someone suddenly arrived from the sky and shouted, "Everyone! Move!"

Kharon and the sons looked up and saw Woohyun's father, Gabriel, flying right in front of them. But before they could even react to what he said, a strong force suddenly came out of the hold mark, causing Kharon and the Demons to be thrown off.

Everyone tried to stand as a large creature starts coming out of the mark. It was almost five storeys high that all the Demons could do was watch as the demon immerged in front of them with full force.

"What the hell is that?! Why is there another demonic creature? And it's fucking bigger!" Suho shouted in shock.

"That's not a demonic creature!" Kharon shouted back, making the Demon look back at him with confusion.

"What do you mean?" Hyunseung asked before swallowing the lump on his throat. Kharon took a deep breath and looked back at the large demon in front of them. With fear present in his voice, he answered, "That's the king of hell."
