SDS3 05: WELCOME BACK
"SO, WHAT HAPPENED TO you?"
"I've been struggling to escape hell ever since the incident. Since you all have the keys of Hell, the King himself couldn't open it so freely now." Kharon explained as he looked at the six brothers.
The Demons and Kharon were in a private room at a bar. Today was their birthdays, and they have finally met each other after everything that happened to them for the past seven months. And for a long period of time, Lee Taeil, their master planner, has finally discovered something that made the Demons have hope again.
"What do you mean? Why can't the king open the gates anymore? What do the keys have to do with it?" Minhyuk asked, then Kharon looked at him and answered, "As you all know, the keys that we acquired aren't real keys to begin with. Those are keys the king uses to freely open and lock the gates of hell. But since he doesn't have it anymore, he doesn't have control over it like before."
"No way. Then...isn't that a good thing?" Suho stated.
"I suppose it is. Because the king wouldn't be able to send hundreds of ghouls as much as he wants anymore." Kharon explained, making everyone relieved.
"No wonder we haven't been attacked ever since we left hell. But Kharon, how were you able to get out in the first place?" Hyunseung asked as he looked at their guardian confusingly.
"Well, that's because the gates open only once a week. At the end of Sabbath day, at 3 AM, the gates of hell would open. 3:00 AM is what everyone calls the Devil's hour, and the reason why it's during the end of Sabbath day is because it signifies the end of the Lord's Day. But even though you know when the gates will open, you will still have a hard time because gatekeepers will be there to stop you. Ever since Jiyong's death, the king of hell sent gatekeepers to guard the entrance of hell since he knows that you guys have the advantage since you have the keys. I had to defeat and outrun most of them just so I could escape." Kharon answered.
(Which is pretty badass because gatekeepers are 10x bigger and better than a regular ghoul)
"I'm not gonna lie, the King of Hell is a smart fella," Minhyuk stated. Then Taeil took a sip of his beer and said, "At the end of Sabbath day, 3 AM, the gates of hell open. Then, when does it close?"
Everyone looked at Kharon again, curious about his answer, "Good question. The gate closes at 3:59 AM exactly. That's why I had a hard time escaping. And the ghouls the King would send out should quickly return if they don't want to be locked out for a whole week. And normal ghouls wouldn't be able to survive in the real world for that long."
Upon hearing Kharon's answer, Taeil quickly stood up from his seat. And with a shocked expression, he shouted, "That's it!"
"What?" everyone asked in unison.
Taeil pointed at Jackson and continued, "Jackson, the reason why Jiyong asked you to come to him during Sunday is because he wants you to protect him!"
"What do you mean?" Jackson asked confusingly.
"Don't you get it? Now that Jiyong's gone, you're the strongest son amongst us all. And the reason why he wants you in his grave during Sunday is because he wants you to guard it until Monday. Remember what Kharon said? The gates open at 3AM, it's possible that the king has plans to do something to Jiyong during those times. But since you're there, the ghouls couldn't approach him, and maybe that's the reason why Jiyong's grave is still unharmed until now." Taeil explained, but Jackson and the rest of the Demons were still confused.
"And what on earth would the king of hell do to a dead body?" Sunggyu asked with his right eyebrow raised.
"He'll be using it as a vessel to come to earth." Taeil suddenly answers, making everyone look at him with shock and realization.
"D-Did you just say...vessel?" Hyunseung asked with shock.
Kharon's eyes widened as well as he says, "Why haven't I thought of that before? The king can't step on earth unless he's inside a human body. And since Jiyong is dead, the king of hell can use his body now."
"But why Jiyong's body?" Jackson asked Kharon so he could further explain it. But the one who answered it was his brother Taeil, "That's because Jiyong is the strongest demon! He's a high ranked Demon now! Don't you remember?! He was the only one who could open Father Lucifer's door!"
"Can you fucking stop shouting?!" Sunggyu suddenly shouted since he was frustrated because Taeil kept on shouting. He was already very confused about the situation, and the shouting wasn't helping him.
Taeil gulped because of the aura Sunggyu suddenly emitted so he quickly shuts his mouth and sat down.
"Sorry." Sunggyu immediately stated while massaging his temple. He didn't mean to suddenly shout at his brother.
"N-No...it was my fault, I was just too excited," Taeil stated as he scratched the back of his head.
"Even so...what Taeil said was right. Like what you mentioned to me earlier, about the dreams, Jiyong might have told Jackson to come to him because he wanted Jackson to protect him." Kharon explained, and everyone nodded.
Suddenly, Jackson chuckled and said, "So that's what he meant by Salvation. I was going to prevent Jiyong from harm."
"So does that mean the letter is really an instruction for us on how to help Jiyong?" Suho asked as he looked at their mentor.
Kharon took a sip from his beer and answered, "Maybe. But I'm not quite sure yet. I wasn't able to talk to Lucifer or any of the other rulers on that matter since I'm not strong enough to open their doors. But I think this was already planned out even before it all started."
"So what do we do now?" Suho asked, then Kharon looked at everyone and said, "The best way for us to know more is for us to talk to the Arc's guardian (Park Dong Min)."
"I refuse." Sunggyu quickly stated, making everyone look at him.
"Sunggyu, I know you're mad at the Arcs. But if you want to save your brother, it's best if we talk to him." Kharon stated, but Sunggyu wasn't going to agree so easily.
"I'm not just mad at them, I'm furious. They knew about Jiyong's death but they didn't even help us, we could have..."
Kharon quickly stops Sunggyu and says, "They didn't know about Jiyong's death."
"That's bullshit," Sunggyu says with venom in his voice. But Kharon was going to make Sunggyu understand, whether he liked it or not, "You listen to me. The Arcs didn't know Jiyong was going to die."
"They clearly know he was going t-" Kharon quickly cuts Sunggyu off and explained, "I told you, they didn't know. They only know that someone will die. They didn't know who it was."
"If that's the case then why the hell did they attack us that day?" This time, it was Jackson who asked since he was still frustrated and angry because he had to fight his lover during that battle.
Kharon sighed heavily like he didn't want to say anything further. But it has been seven months, it was about time the Demons knew the truth, "You were all supposed to die that day."
"What?!" everyone shouted in unison.
Kharon takes a deep breath and explained further, "Once you open the King's gate, he will come out and kill you with no effort needed. So the Arcs were instructed to stop you from opening the gates with any means necessary, and that's why they attacked you. But that was not a guarantee that every one of you will be saved. It was destined that one of you will be killed during the process, that's why the Arcs gambled it even though they knew about the outcome. You might hate them but they tried their best to save you."
"T-that can't be..."Suho stated with shock.
Everyone was quiet after Kharon's explanation. They had no idea that the Arcs were planning something like that all along. Even Taeil who has been talking to Jihoon during that time didn't know about it. But Sunggyu was still angry, so when Kharon saw his reaction, he added, "I know you're still mad Sunggyu. Even if I explain to you now about everything that could have gone wrong if we told you the truth I'm pretty sure you still wouldn't listen."
"Then you knew about it too right?" Sunggyu suddenly asked as he looked at Kharon with his deadly stare. And for the first time, Kharon felt weak around his kids. It was no doubt that the Demons are now a lot more powerful than before.
"Yes, I knew about it. I was the one who helped the Arcs with the plan." Kharon revealed, shocking everyone even more.
"You were able to tell the Arcs about it but it didn't even cross your mind to tell US about it?" Sunggyu asked, now emitting a stronger aura than before.
"Things could have gone worse if I told you everything." Kharon quickly answered.
"If you told us about it then we wouldn't have gone to hell in the first place!" Sunggyu now shouted.
"That wouldn't change anything! The King would still have sent thousands, or even more ghouls on earth just to take you, and if worse things happened, innocent people would have been affected as well. I had no choice but to keep it a secret from you even though it was painful for me, but what kind of guardian would I have become if I allowed every one of you to die?!" Kharon shouted back.
"So it's okay to let one of us die, is that it? Do you think we'd be happy to hear that you and the Arcs sacrificed Jiyong just so we could live?" Sunggyu asked; calmer this time.
"You don't understand. Jiyong is..."
Hyunseung suddenly slammed the table and shouted, "Sunggyu, that is enough! Jiyong is dead! What's done is done and we can't turn back time!"
Everyone became quiet.
"I know what you feel Sunggyu. Every one of us knows what you feel. But Kharon is right. If they told us everything then we could have all been dead and everything we've done would have been pointless. But we're alive now, and now we might have a chance to even resurrect Jiyong because of the Arcs and Kharon's help, so please put your anger aside and think of Jiyong's sake for now on." Hyunseung says with a serious expression.
Sunggyu doesn't say anything for a few seconds.
Then he took a deep breath and looked back at his brothers.
"I know that okay? Did you guys honestly think I wouldn't understand?" Sunggyu suddenly says with a sad expression.
"Fine, let's just say I'm thankful because of what they did, but it doesn't change the fact that the Arcs feel like we should be thankful to them because they helped us. The pain that Jiyong's death caused us...that's something they overlooked. Even though we might have a chance to help Jiyong now, the torture and the hurt all of us felt during those seven months while those Arcs felt nothing at all will always be there. That's why I'm mad."
The Demons felt bad after hearing what their leader really felt. He was never the emotional type, but after Jiyong's death, Sunggyu was the first one to break apart amongst all of them.
"It would have been better if they at least mentally prepared us or warn us about it," Sunggyu stated with his head down. Then, Hyunseung suddenly remembered something that made him smile, "Now I get it."
Sunggyu quickly looked at Hyunseung, then the rest looked at him too. Hyunseung looked back at Sunggyu and said, "You told us before that Woohyun talked to you when we were at Japan right?"
Sunggyu looked at Hyunseung confusingly, then he remembered it as well.
"Don't execute your plan."
"Oh my god, I really am drunk. You're an apparition, aren't you? The Arcs are in Korea so I'm pretty sure you're an apparition. Damn, even in my apparition you Angels are still against everything we do."
"You don't know what's going to happen to you and your brothers Kim Sunggyu."
"That angel...was trying to warn you," Hyunseung says, making everyone realize it too.
"You wanted them to warn you, then there you go. One of them even went out of his way and maybe even broke the rules just to warn us. Woohyun would have been killed for betraying his Father's trust, but he got his way to at least tell you about it. Now's the time to stop sulking. Jiyong needs us, and the Arcs are the only ones who could help." Hyunseung finished.
Now everyone was looking at their leader. Waiting for him to respond.
Sunggyu sighed and chugged his beer. Then he looked at everyone and answered, "Fine. I'm not saying I'm happy about this but what are we supposed to do then?"
Everyone finally smiled and looked at each other, excitement now present in their eyes. They were back in the game, and everyone couldn't wait to start playing.
Kharon looked at the excited sons and said, "The Arcs are still studying at HAU right?"
"Yeah." Minhyuk simply answered.
Kharon looked at the Demons one by one. Everyone looked confusingly at their guardian who was smiling from ear to ear. Obviously formulating a plan that the Demons would truly enjoy.
A WEEK LATER
AT HOLY ANGELS UNIVERSITY
"Damn its so good to be back," Hyunseung says as he took a deep breath before walking towards the entrance of their campus. Everyone stopped the moment they saw the red-haired boy, shocked to see him back. The students even started taking out their phones just to take a picture of him.
"I'm not going to lie, I missed the attention too," Hyunseung said to himself as he continued to walk down the hallway, students still dumbfounded to see him again.
As Hyunseung was walking, flashes of memories from before came running right in front of his eyes. Then he stopped walking in the middle of the hallway when he remembered something really important that happened at this exact same spot.
"Let go of me."
"Looks like you're still short-tempered. You never change do you?"
"I'm not in the mood to play games with you angel. Why don't you just fucking leave me alone?"
"I can't. Because you're always on my mind. Whenever I'm not doing anything, you're the person on my mind. When I see you, I just want to run to where you are and give you a kiss. Didn't I tell you before that I love you?"
"..."
"Why can't you love me back?"
"I don't love you...and I never did."
"You're lying and I know it Hyunseung. I know that I'm still inside that heart of yours."
"Still? You never had a place in my heart..."
"Then kill me."
"..."
"Kill me right here and right now if you never really loved me. That's what you demons want right? To kill us all? Then do it, I'm giving you your chance. I promise I won't fight back."
"I'm really gonna do it."
"..."
"Y-you can still change your mind Yong Junhyung...you can still walk away alive."
"I'm ready to face my destiny."
"..."
"I can't...I'm sorry brothers."
Hyunseung unknowingly held his lips as he remembered how Junhyung kissed him during that time. He wanted to cry but he pushed back the tears. He was tired of being weak. He's been weak for seven months and he obviously had enough. So Hyunseung brushed the thought away and left the place where he once decided to love the Arcs' leader.
But while he was walking, someone suddenly ran to him and placed his arm around his shoulder. Hyunseung was about to attack him, but then he saw who it was so he stopped and glared at him instead.
"Morning JS!"
"Morning Minhyuk." Hyunseung greets, quickly pushing Minhyuk's hand away.
"Looks like you're back to normal again. So, you followed my schedule right?" Minhyuk asked as the two continued walking.
"Of course I did. Don't wanna be separated from you guys." Hyunseung answered.
"That's good. Jackson, Taeil, and Suho and I have the same schedule but they don't go to school so I wasn't able to be with them. Thankfully today will be different."
As the two continued walking, they suddenly saw a group of students surrounding someone.
"They're attending school again?!" Hyunseung and Minhyuk heard from one of the students. The moment the two heard about it, they quickly knew who they were referring to.
Minhyuk and Hyunseung walked through the crowd. When everyone saw Hyunseung, they suddenly gasped and stared at him, seconds later they gave way to the two, revealing Jackson, Taeil, and Suho standing right in the middle.
The three smiled as Minhyuk and Hyunseung walked towards them.
"That took you long enough," Minhyuk stated as he looked at the three.
"Blame this guy. We were literally waiting for him all morning at the parking lot." Jackson stated as he was pointing at Suho. Suho quickly defended himself and said, "That's because I was stuck in a traffic jam!"
"Oh, so we're supposed to blame the traffic jam then," Jackson stated with his right eyebrow raised. Then Taeil joined in and seriously said, "Well fuck that traffic jam, I'm gonna beat his ass for making Suho arrive late."
Then the brothers started laughing.
"So immature guys."
"Okay, that's enough. You guys aren't kids anymore." Hyunseung stated as the three finally stopped bickering at each other.
"Let's go before our leader gets mad at us for being late." Hyunseung then instructed so everyone did what they were told. The five Demons looked at the crowd of students who quickly moved aside like they were given a silent command.
The Demons smirked and started walking away. Every time they would walk in a busy corridor, everyone would suddenly become quiet. The fear of everyone's eyes made them feel powerful again. But while they were walking, the further they got, the atmosphere became darker and darker.
"You guys feel that?" Hyunseung asked as he looked at his brothers.
Suho smirked and said, "Looks like our leader is back."
The five quickly went towards the dark hall that no student dared to walk on. And as they expected, they saw their leader, Kim Sunggyu, walking at the end of the hallway with his hands inside his pocket.
"What an entrance." Minhyuk joked, but Sunggyu didn't say anything. Then Sunggyu walked towards his brothers and said, "Honestly I hated going back here, but seeing everyone now...I kinda feel...excited."
"Of course you are," Suho stated as he patted Sunggyu's back. He was glad Sunggyu was finally back in Korea, especially at HAU.
The loud and low church bell finally rings. A sound most of the Demons have secretly missed as well. The students immediately went back to their rooms while the Demons continued to calmly walk down the hallway.
"Don't tell me Kharon's the school's priest again," Sunggyu stated as he started walking. The rest of the brother following behind him. Now the Demons were walking in their famous pyramid style formation.
"He is actually. I saw him the other day at the chapel. He's still wearing that stupid black priest uniform," Minhyuk answered since he was the only one who attended school last week too.
"And the Arcs?" Sunggyu suddenly asked.
"They're still attending HAU but like before they never talk to me even though we're all classmates", Minhyuk reveals, making Sunggyu stop walking, which made the rest stop walking as well.
Sunggyu turned around to face his brothers and said, "They have the nerves to not even apologize to you? And to even have the guts to ignore you, a prince of hell, and a strong Demon of the underworld? Those angels should be afraid of us and should be begging for mercy at this rate."
"Did you purposely have to say it out loud because you sensed that we were close by?" someone suddenly says, making Sunggyu smirk and turn around.
"Yong Junhyung," Sunggyu stated as he looks at the Arcs standing right in front of the Demons.
Hyunseung even gasped from shock. He was fully aware that they'll be seeing the Arcs again, but he just couldn't help but be surprised to see them after so long. Junhyung smiled as he looked at the Demons one by one. Even the Arcs were happy to see their rival slash friends again. But everyone's smile slowly turned into a sad expression.
The Demons saw their reaction and made a sad expression as well.
Sunggyu, who was smirking a few seconds ago, changed his expression into a serious one as he says, "We heard from Kharon that you prayed for Jiyong's death for a whole week during his funeral. Thank you, we truly appreciate it."
"N-No....that's..." Junhyung couldn't even form the right words. He didn't know what to say as he stared back at the Demon's leader. He wanted to cry. He wanted to beg for the Demons' forgiveness after what happened. He wanted to run to his lover and hug him, but he didn't do any of that. Instead, he stood there and continued to stare at the Demon's leader with full respect.
"We also heard from Kharon about what you have done for us, and rest assured we understand it. It might still take a while for us to truly accept everything, but for everything you have done...I give you my greatest gratitude." Sunggyu sincerely said as he was about to bow in front of the Arcs.
"Stop." Junhyung quickly says, making Sunggyu stop midway.
Sunggyu stood up straight and looked at Junhyung with a confused look. But Junhyung doesn't say anything. Instead, he went down on his knees and bowed right in front of the Demons. The rest of the Arcs didn't even hesitate to follow.
"You are not supposed to thank us for fucks sake." Junhyung suddenly says with his head low. Then the Demons saw tears dripping down on the floor.
The Arcs were crying.
"I did not want or did I ever dream to see the day that you will thank us for what we have done. And to even show us such a face...we do not deserve such kindness." Junhyung says as the tears continued to fall.
"There was no day that we did not regret it. Jiyong was a part of you, and we knew that his death had also become your demise. I know this isn't necessary but I really tried. I begged my Father to help you, to take Jiyong back but never did I receive his answer. I'm sorry Demons. We're truly sorry." The Arc's leader added, hurt, and regret present in his voice.
"We're truly sorry." The rest said in unison.
Sunggyu looked at the Arcs, and somehow, all the hatred that was still left in his heart slowly vanished.
He walked towards the Arcs' leader and kneeled as well so he could level Junhyung. Then he gently held Junhyung's shoulder and says, "I'm gonna lie if I tell you I wasn't angry at you all. It even took me seven months to simmer down. But like what your lover told me a week ago...What's done is done and we can't turn back time."
Junhyung slowly lifted his head to look at Sunggyu, so Sunggyu continued; "Now stop acting all weak and embrace your boyfriend like a man. You haven't seen him for seven months, right? Go on and hold him, he's been anxious all day you know."
Junhyung smiled widely as he quickly stood up from the floor. Then he ran towards Jang Hyunseung and grabbed him by the arm before giving him the warmest embrace.
"I'm sorry." Junhyung quickly says as he cried on Hyunseung's shoulder.
"Shh...stop it okay? I don't need your apology, because there is nothing for me to forgive in the first place." Hyunseung stated as he continued to hug Junhyung tightly.
Jackson on the other hand quickly went to Mark and grabbed his arm so he could stand. But before Mark could even say anything, Jackson kisses his lover while trails of clear water fell from his eyes.
"I love you. I love you so fucking much." Jackson says in between kisses. Mark couldn't even reply because Jackson wouldn't stop kissing him.
When Mark was finally able to push Jackson away, Mark looks at his lover in the eyes, but Jackson quickly looked away instead, like he was ashamed because he never even tried to contact Mark after what happened.
"Look at me," Mark commanded, but Jackson didn't budge. Suddenly, Jackson's tears turned into blood.
"Oh, baby." Mark says as he quickly wipes Jackson's tears away, "Please don't cry like that."
"I'm afraid to look at you...because if I look too much then I might suddenly realize that this is all an illusion and you're not really here with me. I'm scared of losing you again." Jackson finally says, and the words made Mark cry.
"It's me, Jackson, this isn't an illusion. This is all real. And you never lost me, because even from the start you've always been holding on to me." Mark stated as he continued to wipe Jackson's tears away. Then it was Mark's turn to give Jackson a kiss.
The rest of the Arcs stood up as well. Lay went to Suho while Jihoon went to Taeil.
"I missed you so much baby," Suho said as he grabbed Lay and hugged him tightly as well.
"I'm sorry," Lay says. But instead of replying to Lay's sincere apology, Suho looked at his lover's eyes and says, "I love you."
Lay cried even more as Suho wipes the tears away.
"Why do you keep on crying when we're together? The last time I saw you, you were crying too." Suho stated, making Lay hit him on the shoulder.
"You're an idiot," Lay said as he buried his face on Suho's chest. Suho gently rubs Lay's head and says, "But I'll always be your idiot."
"Oh god, that's disgusting." Taeil suddenly said when he overheard Suho and Lay's conversation. He never really did get used to seeing the famous awkward couple act all lovey-dovey together.
Taeil looked back at Jihoon who was just standing in front of him without even saying anything.
"Aren't you going to tell me anything too?" Taeil asked as he looked at Jihoon.
Jihoon doesn't say anything, but he suddenly grabs Taeil, moving his face closer so he could kiss him, but he quickly stopped midway and hugged him instead. Taeil and Jihoon were still unofficial. Especially when Jihoon's aware that Jiho is still somewhere in Taeil's heart. He was ready to give everything to Taeil, but Taeil still can't do the same, so Jihoon never forces anything from Taeil.
"Still not gonna say anything?" Taeil asked as Jihoon continued to hug him tightly.
"S-Shut up...just stay there and let me hug you." Jihoon finally says while his whole face turned tomato red from embarrassment. Not like Suho and Lay, Jihoon couldn't be as expressive as them, especially when Taeil shows him a different reaction like Lay whenever he tries to act like Suho.
"If you missed me that much then why won't you give me a kiss." Taeil suddenly says, shocking Jihoon. When Jihoon looked back at Taeil, he was even more surprised to see Taeil suddenly crying blood.
"T-Taeil..."
"Tell me you miss me. Hold me tightly and give me a passionate kiss. Tell me you couldn't sleep because you couldn't stop thinking about me. Tell me I wasn't the only one who's been crying when we parted. Make me feel like you want me goddamn it!" Taeil angrily says as he continued to cry blood.
Jihoon finally broke down as he looked at the boy who he loves so dearly.
He wiped Taeil's tears with his thumbs and says, "I might not be good at sweet-talking like Suho, or as passionate as Jackson, or even as determined as Junhyung...but Taeil, wasn't it already obvious how I fucking missed you? There was never a day that I didn't miss you. There was never a day that I didn't cry without thinking about you. And there was never a day that I didn't want you."
Jihoon gently kisses Taeil on the forehead and continued, "I told you before that I'll wait for you right? Then don't make me break that promise and let me be a good boy for now."
Taeil doesn't say anything but nods instead.
While everyone else was hugging and kissing, Minhyuk and Sunggyu walked towards Sungjae and Woohyun who were both just standing on the sidelines with their arms crossed.
"Hey, guys." Minhyuk greeted as he bro hugged the two angels.
"Don't start crying or apologizing okay? I might kick the both of you if you do it." Sunggyu quickly says as he looks at Sungjae and Woohyun.
"You don't have to worry about that leader." Woohyun answered as he continued to look at his brothers happily reunited with their lovers.
"I'm starting to feel kinda jealous. You know...just a little." Minhyuk says as he looks at his brothers as well.
"If you want someone to hug, hug me. Don't look for someone and leave me single", Sunggyu suddenly says without even looking at Minhyuk. The three looked at the demonic leader, then seconds later, they started laughing.
"Oh my god, that's adorable!" Minhyuk says as he continued laughing.
"Don't worry. If ever Minhyuk finds a lover I'll try comforting you. So what do you want, the rated 13 kind of comfort or the rated 19 kind?" Woohyun joked, making Sungjae and Minhyuk laugh even more.
Everyone expected Sunggyu to become furious, but instead, Sunggyu grabbed Woohyun aggressively on the cheek and moved closer to his face before saying, "The rated 19 kind of comfort sounds convincing. How about we try that?"
Sungjae and Minhyuk quickly stopped laughing as they looked at Sunggyu with shock, while Woohyun on the other hand started blushing. Woohyun went back to his senses and quickly pushed Sunggyu away from him, making Sunggyu laugh out loud this time.
"That's a fucked up move man!" Woohyun shouted as he slowly moved away from the demon.
Sunggyu finally stopped laughing and looked at Woohyun, "I haven't laughed like that in a while...thank you...Nam Woohyun."
"W-What the fuck...why the hell are you thanking me for something so stupid?" Woohyun asked. Then Sunggyu's expression suddenly became serious as he says, "That thank you...was for the time you warned me when we were in Japan. I should have listened to you at that time. You even took the courage to talk to the Demon's leader just to warn me. That's hardcore little angel."
Woohyun brushed the fact that Sunggyu called him little angel, so he chuckles instead and says, "Well if you did listen to me then things might have turned even worse."
"You're right." Sunggyu says, then he looks deeply at Woohyun's eyes and says, "But I'll try listening to you next time. I swear, okay?"
Woohyun gulped and quickly looked away. But then Minhyuk cleared his throat and said, "Excuse us but we're still here."
Sunggyu chuckled and looked at his brother, "Sorry."
"Whatever. But now that I look at it, aren't you guys...incomplete? Where's Seung?" Minhyuk asked as he made a headcount on the Arcs. Then Sunggyu looked at the Arcs and realized it as well.
"Don't worry about our brother. He was just instructed by our fathers to do something. You guys will eventually find out about it anyway." Sungjae stated, then Sunggyu and Minhyuk nodded in understanding.
"Oh yeah...I almost forgot to tell you guys." Sungjae suddenly says. Then Sunggyu, Minhyuk, and even Woohyun, looked at him curiously.
Sungjae looked at the brothers and smiled widely, "Welcome back Demons."
