Chapter Fifty Two: Joke Gone Wrong
Amy put a soft and intense kiss on Declan's mouth as they were making out at the backseat of her car. His body begged for more, like it was left for too long without her touch. He wished to undress her and take right now. The desire was burning wild inside him, making Declan crave for more. He wanted Amy so badly that it was hard to resist. His hands started to reach under her blouse, looking for a clasp from the lacy bra.
While Declan was blinded by lust, Amy knew exactly what she was doing. She touched him down below and licked his ear, whispering, "I missed this so much."
In his mind they were already fucking hard, just like the old times.
"So did I." He caught Amy's neck and strongly pulled her body closer. "Right now, I'm crazy in love. Please, just let me have you." He tried to unbutton his black jeans, but Amy stopped him.
"We've got something to do. Right after that you can have me as many times as you want," she promised, teasing him a little more.
Declan took a breath and leaned back with his eyes full of disappointment and sexual dissatisfaction.
"Baby, you're killing me." He found a box of cigarettes in his pocket and took out one of it in order to make the excitement leave him.
"No smoking in the car!" Amy knocked the cigarette out of his mouth. "Think about it that way, after having the first part of the night full of fun and revenge, we're gonna spend the most marvelous and wild other part of the night together."
Declan wasn't able to cool down, when she said it with her voice sounding so sexy. He wanted to kiss her once more, but she put a finger on his lips, leaving him insatiate.
"Okay, what's the plan again?" The faster they would play a prank on Hailie, the more time he could spend with Amy moaning and laying naked in his arms.
She smiled with contentment. She had Declan wrapped around her finger. There was nothing he wouldn't do for her at this moment and she was about to use it. He always thought more with his dick, rather than with his brain. Maybe otherwise he wouldn't be stupid enough to cheat on her. Twice. With two different girls that weren't even pretty or smart. Just some sorority sisters, who were like trash compared to her. None of them would've mastered a plan like she did in order to get revenge.
"Do you remember how to pick locks?"
"Do I look like a beginner?" Not at all. With all the tattoos covering his body, long dark hair and a box of never-ending cigarettes he actually looked a lot like a criminal. "Babe, how many times I've got to your house, Jayson's or even to the school pool after hours?"
Too many times.
"We don't want to make too much noise. You'll go alone to the house and get to the basement to make some noise. I'll join you ten minutes later, ready to videotape Hailie's reaction." She took out a camera and a mask for Declan. He was dressed all in black, like a burglar to make it seem like he broke into Hailie's house.
He caught a machete that was laying in the trunk.
"Isn't it too much?" he asked, because now that he actually had to get into the house, he got nervous. "Honestly, maybe we postpone it? There's much better things to do."
Amy knew exactly what it was about. She was wondering from the beginning when Declan will try to cancel their plans. He liked to play a bad boy, but he was a coward when it came to walking into a haunted house.
"Are you scared, because of this nonsense that Jayson told you?" she mocked him, knowing it'll work. He wouldn't let anybody call him a coward and he wouldn't like to look like one in her eyes.
"No, he's the one to be scaredy-cat. All he talks about is that there's something wrong with Hailie's house. He has an obsession about it. Honestly, I'm tired of this. Maybe after videotaping how we prank Hailie, he'll come to mind."
Declan was already once in the house. The night of the party. Nothing happened to him back then, although it was just the atmosphere of the house. Everybody was talking about it, so even he started to doubt its safety. Then again, he was with Amy now. He couldn't back out or she'll never come back to him, thinking he's a loser. And if he cancels this, they surely won't spend the night together.
"Great!" she kissed him in the cheek, thinking that it's sad how stupid Declan is. He believes that she wants him back, after all he has done. What a misunderstanding. He deserves a punishment, not forgiveness. "Ready to go?" she asked him with her eyes glistening from excitement.
Declan shrugged as an answer.
Let's get it over with, he thought.
Amy gave him last kiss. The most passionate and sexy as it could be. Something to remember, when he'll be gone.
Surely there was a possibility that she was wrong and the house indeed wasn't haunted at all. She believed otherwise, as well as Jayson. Maybe the murders had nothing to do with the Bloody Mansion. They were committed here, because so many bad people lived inside. Maybe. Tonight she was about to find out the truth behind Hailie's house. If nothing happens, she won't get into the house anyway. Fate was a bitch, so better not to tease it. She'll just tell Declan that it was too scary for her. She was a girl and he was aware that her attitude changed all the time.
Declan hid the machete in a big bag and got out of the car, saying to Amy, "See you soon, babe." He quickly passed the street and walked to the door. It was after midnight. Everybody was sleeping, so he didn't worry that someone might see him. There were no people around, only Amy waiting in the car.
It took him two minutes to get into the house. He silently closed the door and gazed at the spacious room. At night, with all the lights off, it looked creepier than at the Halloween party. Declan had nothing to old houses. In his hometown he was living in a tremendous mansion, but this place, it had something awfully negative and scary about itself. He wondered how anybody could live in here, moreover, how somebody like Hailie was able to stay.
Amy told him to begin with the basement. Throw things off to make scary noises, maybe even destroy some old stuff. She was sure that 'all the horrors start with a basement or with an attic'. He knew that in this house were both a basement and an attic. Amy was supposed to join him in the house a bit later, waiting for Hailie to get downstairs and videotape her reaction. In his opinion that was kind of a cruel joke, but at the same time it was very Amy. And he was completely fine with it. Hailie shouldn't feel safe here, not after what she has done to his best-friend. They were supposed to go together to this university, having a sports scholarship. He never took that little mouse for a psycho, but it changed after Jayson told him that she pounced on him in that funhouse. She stabbed him and then had the guts to accuse him of an assault. Sure, Jayson wasn't a saint either. He had his moments and Declan suspected that once or twice he hit Hailie, but damn, he wouldn't stab her like she did.
Walking around the house, Declan decided that this house was unkept. Everything was old, dirty and crumbly. From outside it looked like rubbish and it was one from the inside too. There was nothing stylish or modern, only pieces of what seemed like an ancient history. Even if it didn't have the nickname the Bloody Mansion, Declan wouldn't buy it at its cheapest. He was sure that many people would think the same.
After wandering around a while, he finally found the door to the basement. He took out the machete and switched on the lights.
I'm down in the basement, he wrote to Amy.
The reply came as quick as always, I'll be there soon.
Declan took a look at the large, but cluttered room, which was in worse condition than the rest of the house. He didn't know that it was possible, but being down here, Declan felt like he traveled back in time to the Victorian Era. He swung the machete and pushed to the ground dusty porcelain figures, which shattered to pieces. That felt too good. This house put him in a mood to destroy things. He walked to the other side of the room and dropped to the floor some jars with food.
Have fun cleaning that, he thought with amusement, then he chose to damage the dolls that were laying in the corner. They've been making him uncomfortable, so he just cut their heads off. His eyes were set on chains that were hanging down the ceiling. It was more than weird. Just when he was about to cut them off, something moved behind him. He froze and silently turned around, but there was nobody. Maybe Hailie heard all this destruction? Or maybe it was Amy?
Declan shrugged it off, but he almost dropped his machete, when he looked ahead and saw a blonde girl with a scary, devilish mask covering her whole face. He stepped back, almost stumbling upon his own feet.
"Amy, is that you?" he asked with restlessness. It was the only logical explanation. Amy decided to make fun out of him as well. The mask was a genius idea.
"Do I look like Amy?" The girl reached to her face and slowly took off the mask, making him lose his breath.
No, that wasn't Amy, but she was the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. There was no point in being afraid with such a pretty in front of him. What she could do to him? He actually wanted to find out, forgetting about his ex-girlfriend he was trying to win back.
"You look much better."
The blonde moved closer with an innocent smile on her lips. She touched his face and slowly removed the mask that he was wearing. She knew exactly who they were dealing with.
Declan Waller.
"What about me?" Another girl showed up, wearing a sparkling dress. She was looking nice, but his eyes didn't see her face. They were too focused on the diamond necklace and long earrings she was wearing. That must've cost a fortune. The jewelry was shining so bright that Declan thought that it might even blind somebody.
"Tell them I'm the one you truly desire." The third girl touched his right arm and licked her lips. She was wearing a sexy mini with an off-shoulder neckline. "Tell them," she pleaded, looking at him like she was about to tear his clothes.
"Can't we all have fun?" He wished to have sex with every one of them. Those girls were more than hot. He felt like he was stuck in paradise.
"Oh, aren't you greedy?" asked the one with the diamonds, while the sexy one crouched and started playing with his belt. He took a big gasp of air, trying to cool down.
"Is this a dream?"
He forgot about all the girls he has ever had. He would give up everything just to spend with those three the whole eternity. It was pure pleasure to be touched by them, to think about them satisfying him.
"Sit." The blonde pushed him on the chair and the sexy sat on him, starting to kiss his neck.
While Declan was burning with desire and pleasure, the three girls smiled at each other. They haven't had so much fun in years, but it was about to end earlier than the last time, when they took a girl on a wild, hellish ride.
"Let me take it." Greed took the machete that slipped from Declan's hand. "You won't need it."
"My, my, he's a perfect mix of so many negative emotions and desires. I feel like every one of us could feed on him." Pride pushed Envy, making her almost fall from Declan's knees.
"What?" He wanted to stand up, but Pride put her hands on his legs, keeping him in a chair.
"Haven't you heard?" Envy asked as her eyes turned all to black. "This house is haunted, sweetie. And tonight, you're our main attraction."
"We know all about you." There was no more innocence or sweetness in Pride's face. She began to look terrifying and dangerous.
Declan tried to take his machete, but it was no longer on the floor. He strongly pushed Pride away, while standing up and stepped back, noticing that in the room were more people than just those three girls.
"Or rather we know all about your sins," Wrath explained, not happy that Declan wasn't feeling anger. He was just entirely spooked.
"Whatever sins you're talking about, I'm sorry, okay? I'm really sorry about cheating on Amy and coming to this house. I shouldn't and I really didn't plan on disturbing you." He was walking backwards, until there was no more space behind him, only a wall.
"We don't care about Amy." Sloth sat at the chair that was previously occupied by Declan. He was too tired to stand. He already did his part of the job. Hailie was sleeping like a log, without any possibility to wake up in case of Declan's screams. And even if she heard anything at all, she'll think it's just a dream.
"Those were my jars with food." Gluttony was gazing at the shattered pieces of glass and food, laying on the floor. Now that they were gone, he developed a desire to eat them tonight. Well, it was impossible since Declan destroyed them. "Mine." If there was one thing that Gluttony was going mad about, it was his food.
"I'm sorry," Declan quickly replied, regretting coming here in the first place. "My girlfriend waits outside for me, so I'll be better going, okay? I can buy you new jars, I promise." He slowly made a step and then another, watching out for whatever it was standing here in the room with him. He didn't believe in ghosts, but now everything has changed.
"Boo." Wrath leaned to him, making Declan stumble and fall onto the ground. "Seriously, watch how you're walking," he laughed, wondering how that guy could've made so many problems.
Declan crawled to the stairs, thinking that in a moment he'll be gone. This crazy night will feel like a terrible nightmare, but he'll be safe. It didn't matter that Amy could call him a loser and a coward. She didn't see what he saw. He just wanted to get out of here.
"I'm afraid we can't let you just walk away." Lust came downstairs and caught Declan's t-shirt in order to put him back on his feet. He tried to break free, but Lust's grip was too strong.
"I'm really sorry about everything I've done!" he called, wondering if anybody would hear him screaming. "Help! Help!" he called, but that resulted in a punch from Lust to keep him quiet.
"Oh, that felt good," he said and grabbed Declan, because once again he was laying on the ground, now with his nose bleeding.
"Please, please, don't kill me!"
The demons looked at each other. Unfortunately, they couldn't kill him directly, but they've had many other ideas in their heads. Sometimes death wasn't the worst fate, but in this case it was the only possible one. Declan was Jayson's friend and everybody who has ever hurt Hailie deserved to be punished and locked in Hell for eternity.
"Don't worry, we won't kill you," promised Envy, but there was nothing comforting in her words.
"No, we won't," Pride echoed Envy.
They were about to do something much worse.
