I stare at the shadows in fear as I turn my back on him and run towards the elevators.

I hear a low deep chuckle echo the halls and that made my heart sunk to my stomach. "Run as fast as your human legs will take you." I hear him say in a deep tone. My mouth felt dry and my heart was in a fast pace.

I made it towards where the elevators were and pushed smashed the buttons in a panic, trying not to look at the man. The light of the button hasn't shown and I just kept pressing it harder as if it would work.

I finally look towards where the man was and he was getting closer with a wide smirk. I back away as my back hit the wall, I cover my face and slide down on the cold floor. My whole body shaking in fear as I curled into a ball.

Is this a nightmare? Is this something I'll wake up any time soon? I want to wake up now! This is to much for me!

I thought to myself as I heard shoes tapped against the hard floor, coming closer to me. My mind was blank and my heart was beating even faster if that was even possible.

As the taps of the shoes came towards me, I was ready to wake up but, the taps stopped. I didn't bother to look as I was to frightened to see what awaits for me.

I then, felt a pair of large hands on mine and slowly removed from my face, I shut my eyes still refusing to look. I hear a small chuckle. "Please open your eyes." He sounded sweet but, I still didn't want to trust him. I shake my head 'no' still trembling, he was still holding my hands firmly. "I frightened you that much huh? I'm sorry. I really am. But, I just want you to open your eyes, please?" He spoked in a low yet gentle voice.

My breathing became study and I slowly opened my eyes, I was staring at my hands that were in his grasp. I slowly started to move my eyes up to look at him and he looked more beautiful up close, his red rosy lips, fair clean skin, the blue hue swirling in his eyes. It was all so mesmerizing.

As soon I looked at him, he gives a gentle smile. "There we go. You shouldn't be afraid someone like me." He spoke in such a soft voice with a soft smile, it was something I could trust. I just stared into his blue eyes. "Someone like me... you could trust..." He leaned a little closer and I just stood there not doing anything but, stare. "Someone you could have faith on..." He came even closer. "Someone who would protect you in all costs and..."

His face was close to mine, our noses almost touching just by a centimetre away. "And... Someone you could love." He leaned towards my face and his lips was so close to mine.

Then, I feel something hit me like a rock against my head. I lean away and put my hand over my head where I felt the pain and groaned. "See you soon." All I heard before hearing another faint voice...

I opened my eyes slowly and felt a huge pain in my head. I scrunched my nose and lifted my head to see I was in... my work space.

I was frightened and yet confused? I rub my eyelids and comb my hair with my hair, I kept my eyes down to my desk.

I then hear someone clear their throat and I look to see who it was and it was my boss crossing his arms with a disapproval look. My eyes shot open and I straighten my back and fixed my clothes and looked at him. "H-hello sir." I stutter as I stare at him nervously. He licks his teeth and flares down at me.

I gulp down my saliva. "Miss L/n. You slept through lunch." He says with a dead tone, my eyebrows widen in shock and I looked at the clock that was placed on my desk and it was 12:48 PM. I lean on my chair and berry my face into my face and groan quietly. "I'm sorry sir. I slept a little late and I apologize! I promise this won't happen again!" I say with an apologetic look.

He scoffs. "It better not. Once work is done, come by to my office, since you missed my last call for you to my office." All he said and left.

I sigh heavily and rub my temples. I think about the dream... or nightmare I had and tried to figure out what that meant.

I didn't let it bother me too much and continued to work as the dream and the tall man in the elevator kinda bothers me...
