Quirk Tests and The Boy Of The Alleys

"You're all here, good." Aizawa said, and Ashido said, "Oh, but what about orientations?"

Aizawa rolled his eyes, as if it was the dumbest question in the world, "Heroes don't have time to waste on trivial things like that."

"We're doing a quirk apprension test. I'm sure you all had the standard physical tests in your middle school. The seated-toe-touch, upper-boy training, side-to-side steps, grip strength, endurance run, the 50-meter dash, standing long jump, and the soft ball throw. The education system insists on preventing you from using your quirks in it. It's irrational. Today, you'll be taking those tests, with your quirks." Aizawa explained. "Bakugou, how far could you throw a softball in middle school?"

"67 meters." replied a blonde boy with red eyes, and Aizawa tossed him a ball. "Do it again, but with your quirk. You can do whatever you need to, just stay in the circle." Aizawa said.

Bakugou smirked, stepping into the circle.

He pulled his hand back, and threw the ball into the air, using an explosion to power it. "DIE!!!!"

The group of students repeated the word amongst themselves, and Aizawa held up a device that read "705.2 meters"

Kaminari grinned, "Wow!! This is cool!! We get use our quirks!!" a chorus of agreement came from some of the other students

"Cool, you say? This is the hero course, do you expect it to all be fun and games?" Aizawa asked, glaring at them, "Fine then. Who ever gets last place, will be expelled."

Dozens of protests came from the crowd. "It's the first day, isn't that a bit unfair?" said a girl with short white hair, which faded into a blue color. Her eyes were a teal color.

"Unfair? Do you think crime is fair? Natural disasters? Car accidents? Villains? Japan is full of unfairness. As heros, it is your job to fix that unfairness." Aizawa replied.

"Now, get started."

Kaminari colapsed, panting. They had just finished the tests, and boy was he tired. He hadn't used his quirk much, worried about short-circuiting himself. Which was unfortunate for him, because he wasn't exactly the most athletic person.

Aizawa pressed a few buttons on the device, and it displayed a hologram of everyone's placings. Kaminari had gotten 16th place, which he supposed wasn't too bad. In first was a girl named Momo Yaoyorozu, and last place was a boy called Hitoshi Shinsou. "Oh, by the way, the whole expulsion thing was a logical ruse.

A boy with fluffy purple hair sighed in relief, presumably Shinsou.

They went back to the classroom, and the morning lessons went on like any other day at a regular highschool.

Eventually, lunch rolled around, much to the relief of Kaminari. He didn't exactly enjoy school lectures and such.

As he stood up, he was approched by Ashido and Kirishima. "Hey, Kami-kun!! Wanna sit with us?" Ashido asked. Kaminari grinned, "Sure!!"

The three of them walked to the cafeteria, chatting on the way.

A boy sat in the middle of an alley way, slurping noodles out of an instant ramen cup. He had short hair, which was half white, and half black. He had a pirate themed eyepatch over his left eye, but the visible one was narrowed, and greyish brown in color. He wore a dirty hoodie, which looked to be a blue color, as well as grey sweatpants. He wore a brown beanie, which sat loosly on his head. He was bare foot, and his feet already were calloused, despite only being out in the streets for a bit less than a week.

He was Shoto Todoroki, the son of the number two hero. He had run away a few days ago. The heroes and police were looking for him, as he was now deemed a missing person. It didn't bother him, really. He was good at hiding, as he had often done it to escape his father's wrath.

He finished the noodles, and threw the container into a nearby dumpster. He stood up, peering out of the alleyway before deeming it safe to exit. He walked out of it, easily merging into the traffic of people walking on the sidewalk. No one paid much attention to him, too busy with whatever it was they were doing. Good. He'd rather not be noticed by them, otherwise it was more than likely that he'd be brought back to his father.

He made his way to the train stop, Endevour's spare credit card in his pocket. Yeah, he had stolen it from his father, so what?

He planned to take a train to someplace away from town, but not so far that it took hours to get there. He borded a train heading for Hosu, using Endevour's credit card to pay for the ticket.

He was going to get away from that place.
