Magic Eyes and Mysterious Figures

Back at UA, the hero course was doing battle training. However, that wasn't all that important, nor was Todoroki aware of it as he got off the train. He gave his surroundings a quick scan, and found that it seemed like just another city. Nothing major was happening, it seemed. Good. Todoroki didn't plan on getting himself involved with a villain attack.

He began walking through the alleys, searching for somewhere to sleep. He knew for a fact that he wasn't going to be living in a house or appartment by any means. However, there was sure to be an alley or abandoned building of some sort that he could stay in for a while.

As he walked into a particularly dark alleyway, he heard a strange, rustling sound. However, he quickly chose to ignore the sound, instead walking in further. There was a ladder on the side of one of the buildings, so maybe he could sleep on the roof...

As he contemplated the idea, a figure snuck up behind him. He heard the sound of footsteps behind him, and turned around, only to be pinned against the wall. He faced a scruffy looking man, with one eye covered with bandages. He had a creepy grin, which sent a shiver down Todoroki's spine.

Todoroki noticed that the man held a strange, golden eyeball, which looked to be some sort of acessory. He was about to use his quirk to freeze the man, but quickly realised that it wouldn't work very well. Even if he froze the man, he'd still be trapped there.

The man tore Todoroki's eyepatch off, throwing it too the ground. "I can't keep this stupid thing.... You can have it instead!!" he said, a strange pain to his voice. Todoroki was left confused; what 'thing' was he talking about? Was it the eye?

Before he had any time to think of any other options, the man pulled out a knife, causing for Todoroki's gaze to immedietly shift to look at it. Todoroki shuddered, although he didn't know what the man was about to do exactly, he knew it couldn't be good. Fear made the teenage runaway freeze up, unable to think coherently.

The man raised his arm up, pointing his knife at Todoroki's face. And then, within a split second, the knife was plunged into his left eye, causing for blood to squirt out. He tugged at the knife, pulling his eye out of socket. Before Todoroki could react to any of it, the man shoved the strange golden eye into the now empty socket. He then ran off, leaving Todoroki alone.

Confused at what had just happened, Todoroki just picked up his eyepatch, putting it back on. At least it would hide any blood coming from his eye...

It had been a day or two since the incident had occured, and Todoroki had begun to find the golden object rather annoying. Ever since that had happened, he had been hearing people's thoughts without meaning too, and boy, did people think some weird things.

Of course, he didn't always hear the thoughts of others. It seemed to be an on and off thing, although he had no control over it.

He sat in the corner of a random alley way, eating a small bag of chips he'd gotten from a convenince store.

He heard footsteps coming his way, and looked up, only to see a small boy, standing in the entrance of the alley. He had a mass of curly green hair, which stuck up in every angle. He had wide, rounded eyes, which were green in color. His face was rounded and freckled, a minor contrast to his otherwise extremely bony frame. He wore a baggy, grey shirt, with a denim jacket over top. He had baggy sweatpants, along with bright red combat boots. He held a golden object in his hands, which he seemed to be staring at. Todoroki couldn't make out what the object was, from that angle.

There was also a similar figure floating behind him, looking transparent, almost ghost-like. The ghostly figure looked almost the same as the first, only he had narrowed, grey eyes, which seemed to pierce Todoroki's soul. The ghostly figured faded away, and the other boy looked up from the object.

"Huh? Oh, sorry, I didn't realize that someone was in here!" He said, chuckling nervously.

He dropped the object he was holding, which revealed that it was, in fact, a golden necklace of sorts. It hung from a semi-thick rope, which was tied to a small loop at the top of it. It was a ring shape, with a triangle on the inside. An eye was engraved into the triangle, much like the one that he had hidden under his eyepatch. It had five prongs hanging from it, each of them somehow floating to point at him.

"Ne, d'you just so happen to have one of the millenium items?" The boy in front of him questioned, head tilted slightly.

What the hell is that?
