Third Person’s POV

Naruto stares sadly at Sora, taking in the burning red chakra enveloping his body and the blazing red that had filled in his eyes.

“Not too long ago….” Naruto continues softly, recalling the time he had seriously injured his pink haired teammate while using the Kyuubi’s power, “I hurt Sakura with this power….And I don’t want that to ever happen again, to anyone. And that’s why I can’t let you hurt anyone else with this power of ours!”

“What do you mean ours?!” Sora shouts angrily. “You don’t know the first thing about it!”

“I know everything about it!” Naruto corrects fiercely, taking a step forwards. “Did you really not know that the Nine Tails inside of you was created by the Nine Tails within me?”

“W-Within you?” Sora asks incredulously, red eyes widening. “What are you saying?”

“I’m saying that I” Naruto says seriously, staring at Sora, “Am the Jinchuuriki of the Nine Tailed Fox.”

“No…” Sora whispers, stepping backwards. “No….All your words……No, you can’t trick me. You won’t trick me!”

Sora throws his hand in the air, about to attack Naruto, when he suddenly freezes. Sora’s eyes widen in confusion, as everyone glances around questioningly, wondering what’s wrong with Sora.

“Shadow Possession Jutsu complete” a smug voice says, making Yamato, Sakura and Naruto turn around. They spot a smirking Shikamaru behind them, crouching down with his hands together in a hand sign. Ino and Choji appear behind the Nara, grinning at their fellow Leaf Shinobi. Ashley lands in a crouched position beside Shikamaru, staring at Sora with wide, unbelieving eyes.

“He….He can’t be…..” she whispers to herself, finding it perplexing to see Sora coated with the same cloak of chakra she had seen enveloping Naruto on numerous occasions. There was no way Sora could possess the chakra of the Nine Tailed Fox…

“Shikamaru!” Naruto greets, happy to see his friend. “And Choji!”

“Ashley…” Sakura says softly, sighing with relief. The pinkette was glad her friends had turned up, as it seemed that they were going to need all the help they could get.

“What’s this?” Sora growls, baring his teeth at the new comers. “More friends to save you?”

“Go for it Choji!” Shikamaru cries. Choji nods, charging forwards and sliding in behind Sora, before placing his hands together in a hand sign.

“Partial Expansion Jutsu!” Choji shouts, grabbing onto Sora’s shoulders tightly. “Both Hands!”

“No Choji!” Ashley suddenly cries, throwing her arm out towards him. “Don’t touch him!”

“Get off of me!” Sora roars, struggling wildly to try and free himself from Choji’s vice like grip.

“He got him!” Ino cheers, as Shikamaru nods.

“Now he can’t get away” the Nara agrees, watching as Naruto, Sakura and Yamato approach the unhappy Sora.

“It….It doesn’t make sense…” Sora growls, slowly raising his eyes to look at Naruto. “If you’ve really got the Nine Tails inside of you, how could you have so many friends? Why aren’t you an outcast?”

Shikamaru grits his teeth, his hold on Sora beginning to weaken as the boy grows angrier, fuelling his Demonic chakra’s power.

Ashley narrows her eyes at Sora, not liking the situation before her one bit. It didn’t make sense that Sora had the Nine Tails’ chakra, but it would seem that Hakuba had been right about it all along. And from the way Sora was acting, it didn’t look like he had much control over his incredible power either……

“You should be all alone!” Sora spits nastily. “Like I’ve been all these years….”

“It was the same with me too…….once” Naruto explains softly, looking into Sora’s rage filled eyes. “As a kid, I was left on my own for the most part. People didn’t like me, so they chose to ignore me instead of acknowledge me.”

Ashley feels a slight pang of sadness for her teammate, feeling strangely guilty about his childhood plight, though she hadn’t even known him then. She can’t help finding it incredibly unfair that while she had been hailed as a hero for containing the Ten Tails inside of her, Naruto was being ignored and left all alone because of something he had no control over. People were so cruel sometimes……Although, Ashley can’t help thinking that without the pain that had come with his childhood, Naruto wouldn’t be the honourable and amazing person that he had become today.

“But you see, I was too busy getting people to notice me to be lonely” Naruto continues, a smile lighting up his tanned face. “And it finally worked! Now I’ve got all these friends, these amazing friends who care about me and like me for who I am.”

“I have no friends” Sora growls dejectedly, glaring at the dirt below his feet. “No friends at all-”

“You’re wrong!” Naruto interrupts strongly. “We’re your friends Sora!” Sora’s head snaps up in surprise, only for his chakra to suddenly spike, increasing in power and making Sora writhe in pain. Steam spouts from Choji’s hands, making him abruptly release Sora and reel backwards.

“Ahh!” he cries, gazing down at his now badly burned palms. “Way too hot…”

“Choji!” Shikamaru cries, as Ashley bounds over to the brown haired boy, performing hand signs. She lands softly beside him and takes hold of his hands.

“Here” she says quietly, a soft green aura enveloping her pale hands. “I’ll heal them for you….Just don’t touch him again alright?”

“Right” Choji agrees, pulling a strained face as his flesh heals back together. Ashley keeps a close eye on the groaning boy behind her, watching him grab his head in pain, as the Nine Tails chakra ravages his body.

“Ino?” Shikamaru prompts, making the blonde nod and leap backwards, placing her arms out in front of her and interlocking her fingers.

“Mind Transfer Jutsu!” she cries, her body suddenly going limp and sliding to the ground.

“No!” Ashley gasps, whirling around and gazing at Sora’s crumpled boy with wide eyes. There was no way Ino would be able to control Sora’s mind and body in his current state.

Suddenly, Ino let’s out a terrified scream, her mind instantly switching back to her own body. Her whole body trembles in fear, as Kiba, Akamaru and Lee appear around her.

“What’s wrong?!” Kiba inquires urgently, Akamaru whining unhappily.

“Are you okay?” Lee asks, his brow creasing with worry as Ino shakes her head slowly.

“There was no sign of human consciousness left inside of him” she murmurs, gazing up at Sora with a disturbed look on her face. She didn’t know what she had seen, but it was monstrous and full of rage……

“Ungh….” Shikamaru grunts, sweat dripping down the side of his face. “I’m afraid I’ve reached my limit….”

Everyone watches on, as Shikamaru’s restraining shadow retracts, releasing Sora, who is still on his hands and knees.

Yamato’s eyes widen, as two more tails appear behind Sora. He couldn’t restrain the boy the same way he could with Naruto, as he wasn’t wearing the First Hokage’s necklace, so they were all going to be in a bit of trouble if things went any further.

“Sora….” Naruto says sadly, watching as the boy opens his demonic eyes, glaring at everyone in turn. Ashley, keenly sensing Sora’s movements, turns on her heel.

“Move it Choji!” she shouts, giving the boy a powerful shove out of the way, just as Sora whirls around, whipping his tails at the two Leaf Ninja.

Ashley lets out a cry of pain, as one of Sora’s tails whips across her back, searing her skin and sending her rocketing across the ground. She tumbles at high speed, before colliding with a rock, which explodes upon impact.

“Ashley!” Naruto, Kiba and Sakura cry in horror, with Kiba leaping to his feet, panic etched across his face. That had to have caused a lot of damage, even to a strong Ninja like Ashley. He takes off, running towards Ashley and making sure to keep clear from Sora.

Ashley groans softly in pain, clouds of dust floating around her as tiny pieces of the blown up rock rain down on her. The Kunoichi places a hand to her head, slowly sitting up and wincing in pain. That hit had hurt! It wasn’t every day she was attacked by a Ninja with Demonic powers, nor was she thrown into rocks very often. She’d never really though to include it in her training schedule before….

“No! Sora!” Naruto exclaims, charging towards the boy and catching his attention.

“No Naruto!” Sakura cries, green eyes wavering. “Stay back from him!”

“Be careful Naruto!” Yamato adds. “Don’t get too close, or he’ll do to you what he did to Ashley!”

“Angel….” Kiba says softly, sliding to knees and gently grabbing on to Ashley’s shoulders, helping her sit up. “Are you okay?”

Ashley blinks a few times, trying to focus her eyes on Kiba’s worried face.

“What a s-stupid question…” she eventually sighs. “Of course I’m okay. G-Gimme some credit Mutt…..”

Kiba smiles wryly. If Ashley was able to make jokes, then she really was okay. Even if she did currently look a bit out of it.

As Naruto reaches Sora, the boy pulls his arm back, before throwing it forwards and slamming Naruto with a chakra powered punch. A wave of Wind chakra explodes from the attack, sending Naruto shooting backwards and into the hard earth.

“Naruto!” Sakura screams, running towards him, only to have Lee and Ino hold her back.

“That idiot!” Shikamaru exclaims, glancing from Sora to Naruto.

“I-Is he okay?” Ino asks nervously, before Naruto slowly and painfully pushes himself up from the ground, wiping some blood from the corner of his mouth.

“H-He’s in there…” Naruto says determinedly, turning around and glaring at Sora. “The real Sora is still in there, he’s just gotta be!”

“Naruto, forget it!” Ashley shouts, as the stubborn blonde begins approaching Sora again. “He’s too far gone now!”

“No he’s not!” Naruto shouts back, brows furrowing when Sora roars and raises an arm in the air.

Before he can attack however, Yamato performs some rapid hand signs, causing thick pillars of wood to shoot up from the ground. They swiftly bend and form a strong dome shaped shield around Sora, encasing him inside.

Ino and Sakura gasp, as the dome suddenly explodes, showering the surrounding area with shards of wood and sending up a huge cloud of smoke.

Ashley’s POV

Kiba suddenly dives over me, protecting me from the falling debris as I wrap my arms tightly around his waist and bury my face into his chest.

My back is killing me. I have no doubt that Sora’s chakra has burned away some of my skin, and there’s probably blood everywhere. Hitting the rock felt like nothing compared to the burning of Sora’s chakra.

‘That’s my chakra that brat is using!’ Hakuba roars ferociously, unhappy with Sora’s use of his power. ‘I want you to kill that boy and get my chakra back from him! Now!’

‘I can’t right this second Hakuba!’ I shout internally, arguing with the irritated Beast. ‘There’s no way Naruto will let me kill him anyway!’

‘Do you think I care what the Kyuubi boy wants?!’ Hakuba snaps, head butting the bars keeping him prisoner and baring his teeth. ‘That’s my power, and I want it back……I want my power back!’

“Are you alright Angel?” Kiba breathes in my ear, holding me tightly. “Your heart just started beating really fast.”

“Uh….Yeah, I’m fine” I lie. “I’m just…..worried for Naruto and the others.”

As Kiba leans back from me, I look up, just in time to see Sora crush Naruto into the hard earth with one of his chakra tails.

“Naruto!” I can’t help crying out, my eyes growing wide. I watch as Sora approaches my half conscious friend, growling angrily and baring his sharp teeth.

‘Just let me take over Ashley’ Hakuba growls, changing his tactics. ‘Let me be the one to destroy this boy……I will make him pay for stealing what rightfully belongs to me.’

‘I won’t do that Hakuba, and you know it!’ I retort, annoyed. ‘I won’t let you take over me ever again!’

‘We’ll see……’ Hakuba snarls softly. ‘You need me……You’ll request my assistance, just you wait……’

‘I’ve never needed you!’ I snap. ‘And I never will either! So you can just quit trying to convince me!’

Hakuba narrows his glowing red eyes, unimpressed with my defiance.

‘Fine……’ he whispers sinisterly. ‘But when the time comes that you dorequire my assistance, don’t expect me to help…’

‘Oh no, whatever will I do without you?’ I reply sarcastically, rolling my eyes as the Demon disappears back into the darkness of his prison.

“Shadow Strangle Jutsu!” Shikamaru shouts, dragging my attention back to the fight. I see a large shadowy hand wrapped around Sora’s body, holding him back from attacking Naruto, who is beginning to come to.

Sora’s body shakes with the effort of trying to break free from Shikamaru’s Jutsu, with the Nara breathing heavily and obviously having trouble keeping his attack up.

Sora roars ferociously, breaking free from Shikamaru’s attack and leaping for Naruto.

“My turn!” Choji shouts, charging forwards and using his chakra to make his hand expand. He launches a monster punch for Sora’s face, only for Sora to easily catch his hand, the chakra surrounding it burning Choji’s skin.

Shikamaru barely manages to dodge, as Choji is launched backwards, slamming into the ground on his back.

“Don’t worry!” Sakura tells Shikamaru, running over and kneeling beside the groaning Choji. “I can heal him!”

“For cryin out loud Sora!” Naruto shouts, glaring at his friend. “Snap out of it!”

I can’t suppress the gasp that leaves my lips, as Sora whirls around and throws his arm towards Naruto. The chakra surrounding his arm extends towards Naruto, sending a red, clawed hand right for his face.

Naruto screams in pain, as he is sent rocketing backwards across the ground, slamming heavily into an embankment with a nasty crunch sound.

“Let me try!” Lee exclaims, leaping forwards with a battle cry. Sora growls, before roaring at Lee and creating a massive wave of chakra. It bares down on Lee, making him spiral backwards through the air.

Before he can collide with a large tree however, a powerful blast of wind blows in the opposite direction, pushing Lee downwards and making him land on a bush.

“Huh?” he asks, blinking in confusion, before a group of people run out of the trees towards us.

“Good shot Kurai!” Saffire compliments, skidding to a halt when she sees Naruto lying in amongst the crushes earth. Her fuschia eyes widen in horror.

“Blue Eyes!” she cries, rushing over to him, Fang right behind her. Shimei and Kurai run into my view, with the pinkette lowering her hands, obviously the one who had saved Lee.

“Ashley!” Kiyumi calls worriedly, running towards me, with Keilor by her side. I’m glad to see him actually running, and not rolling around on oranges this time….

“Stay with her” Kiba orders as my sister drops to her knees beside me, wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug. “It’s my turn now! C’mon Akamaru!”

“No!” I scream, struggling to get free from Kiyumi’s grip, my panic rising. “Kiba! Don’t attack him! He’ll kill you! Kiba you idiot!”

“Don’t worry!” a smug voice says from behind me, making me look over my shoulder. “We’ll help that moron out, won’t we Tsumetai?”

“Electric Fang Over Fang Atsui-kun?” a cute voice asks, making the smirking boy nod, flashing his sharp teeth.

“You got it” Atsui confirms, before suddenly darting forwards, with Tsumetai in his Wolf form dashing along beside him. They both suddenly light up with electricity, the light blue bolts lighting up the area. Kiba and Akamaru also run towards Sora, with Akamaru turning into an exact replica of Kiba.

“Fang Over Fang!” Kiba and Atsui shout at the same time, as all four males suddenly leap up and begin drilling dangerously through the air.

They all slam into Sora at the same time, which results in a loud explosion, a powerful sonic wave blowing backwards and hitting us all.

“Get like, behind me!” Keilor barks, leaping in front of my sister and I, trying to protect us from the sonic wave. When the wave passes us, I open my eyes and look over at Kiba, who is crouching beside Naruto, looking really ticked off.

“It didn’t work” he growls, Akamaru turning back into a Dog. Atsui lands back beside Shimei, Kurai and Tamashi, shoving one hand in his pocket and glaring at Sora with annoyance. Tsumetai changes back into his usual Chibi form, running up to Atsui and hiding behind his leg. He grabs a hold of Atsui’s trousers, peeking around his leg to peer at Sora timidly.

“I-I don’t like him Atsui-kun” the Chibi whispers. “He’s very scary……”

“We cannot give up!” Lee suddenly cries, leaping forwards to attack again, with Choji not far behind him.

“He’s right!” Kiba barks, smirking determinedly. “Let’s go again Akamaru!”

“Ruff!”

“We won’t be shown up by these Leaf Ninja!” Atsui scoffs, tugging a reluctant Tsumetai forwards. “Come on Tsumetai, let’s shock that freak to death!”

“Kurai, we must help also” Shimei encourages his girlfriend. “We must defend the others.”

Kurai, surprisingly, nods her head, a dark look on her face.

“He hurt our Ley-chan” she growls, baring her tiny, sharp teeth. “So now, he has to pay! Let’s get him Tamashi!”

“Oikein!” the large Wolf barks, grinning devilishly and showing of his large fangs. (Right!) Tamashi tilts his head back, as a large scythe with a skull on top of it appears in the air above him. Leaping up, Tamashi catches the deadly looking weapon in his jaws, bounding after his partner and Shimei as they charge towards Sora.

I wince, watching as everyone is sent flying, as Sora swipes wildly at them all, his attacks sending out waves of powerful chakra.

“Why aren’t we helping them?” Kiyumi asks herself out loud, closing her eyes as Kiba slams into the ground beside her and slides past us, Kurai landing not far away from him.

I watch on, with growing panic, as my friends are relentlessly attacked by Sora, his chakra searing their skin and weakening them with each hit.

Shimei stands firmly before Sora, before taking a deep breath and blowing out a huge flamethrower, enveloping the boy in a burning inferno. Sora roars angrily and whips his tails around, slicing through the fire and sending an arc of chakra soaring towards Shimei.

My eyes widen in horror, as Shimei stands his ground, looking uncharacteristically fierce, as the chakra slams into his torso, sending the tall red head flying backwards.

“No!” Kurai screams, climbing to her feet. “Shimei!”

Atsui runs forwards as well, throwing out his arms and managing to catch Shimei, though the red head’s momentum sends them both sprawling across the ground.

I see Kurai drop to her knees beside her boyfriend, Atsui climbing out from underneath him and rolling him over. Kiyumi sucks in a sharp breath at the sight of the horrific slash wound across his chest, as Kurai bursts into tears.

Sakura, having seen the attack, runs towards Shimei, performing hand signs as she approaches. Skidding to a halt, she drops to her knees and begins healing Shimei, trying her best to assure the sobbing Kurai that he’ll be okay.

“No…..” I whisper softly, watching as an enraged Tamashi charges forwards, calling for Keilor’s help.

“I have to like, help Tamashi out Kiyu” the grey Wolf informs his partner, bluer eyes flashing determinedly as he darts forwards, almost becoming a blur. Keilor opens his mouth, forming his signature move, the Wolf style Rasengan.

“SieluTiivistys!” Tamashi roars, swinging his scythe forwards and sending out a sharp arc of chakra towards Sora.

“Wolf Style Rasengan!” Keilor barks, snapping his jaws closed and shooting the large sphere of spinning chakra at Sora as well.

Tamashi’s chakra hits first, making Sora roar in pain as the mouth of the skull on Tamashi’s scythe opens. It begins trying to suck Sora’s soul in, only for a thick tendril of red chakra to be sucked into its mouth instead.

The skull’s eyes begin burning a bright red, before its jaw starts opening and closing rapidly, its teething clicking together. Tamashi howls in pain as the red chakra envelopes his scythes, before it suddenly disappears all together.

Keilor’s Rasengan then collides with Sora, resulting in another large explosion. Before either Wolf can react, two of Sora’s tails swing through the dark smoke, whipping Tamashi and Keilor powerfully. The two Wolves howl as they are tossed high into the air, their skin burning from the contact with Sora’s highly concentrated chakra.

“Keilor!” Kiyumi cries, leaping to her feet, dark eyes watching as her Wolf flies over head.

“Tamashi!” Kurai screams, running after her Guardian and falling to her knees beside him when he hits the ground with a sickening thump. “Tamashi! No, my poor Tamashi!”

“Keilor!” Kiyumi calls again, rushing over to the tree her now unconscious Wolf had landed in, his torso lying across a branch, with his legs dangling over the sides.

“Leave them out of this…” I growl to myself, glaring over at Sora, who is baring his teeth and watching Naruto as he approaches.

“Don’t go near him Blue Eyes” Saffire warns seriously, stepping in front of my teammate and glaring daggers at Sora. “You’ve seen what he’s done to the others.”

“Yeah, but I have to-”

“You don’t have to do anything” Saffire informs the blonde, glancing at him over her shoulder, her Wolf ears and tail suddenly appearing. “At least, not until I get to have a crack at him.”

Not letting Naruto say another word on the matter, Saffire’s neck snaps around, her eyes narrowing hatefully at Sora, as her lips pull back into an angry snarl.

“You think I’m really going to let you attack my friends like that?!” she snaps, claws extending from her finger tips. “I’m going to make you sorry you were ever born you bastard!”

“So Saffire!” I shout, jumping to my feet, wincing at the pain in my back. “Stay away!”

“No way!” she barks, charging forwards. “I’m not sitting out like a coward, not like you Ashley!”

I stare at her, shocked by her words. I’ve never heard Saffire talk like that before, especially not to me. I’m not being a coward at all! I just know that attacking Sora won’t do any good. Why can’t anyone else see that?! Can’t they see how injured everyone is getting from trying to fight with him?!

Saffire looms in front of Sora, slashing at his face with her sharp claws, missing him by mere millimetres. Sora growls angrily, pulling his arm back for an attack, when Saffire smirks, whipping one hand into the air.

“I don’t think so!” she sneers, smirking at the confused look on Sora’s face when he sees that he can’t move his hand. Looking back, he sees that his wrist has a cuff of thick ice around it, an icy chain securing it to the ground.

“Take this!” Saffire, slashes at Sora again, her claws tearing the skin across his cheek and making him roar in pain. Saffire also cries out in pain, grabbing her hand and hugging it to her chest, when one of Sora’s tails suddenly lashes out, aiming for Saffire.

“No!” I cry, when Naruto suddenly darts forwards, scooping Saffire up into his arms and leaping out of the way, as Sora’s tail smashes heavily into the ground.

Bounding over to Ino, who is healing Choji, Naruto gently sets my best friend on the ground. She glances up at him, one eye scrunched closed.

“Th-Thanks Blue Eyes” she says softly, giving him a tight smile, before wincing and looking down at her hand. “Damn bastard, burned all the skin from my hand….”

“I’ll heal you in just a sec” Ino says hurriedly, eyes trained on Choji’s injury, momentarily forgetting that she’s hated Saffire ever since she called her a skank back in the Land of Ambience.

“Just leave this to me now” Naruto says to Saffire, briefly placing a hand on her head, before whirling around and running towards Sora.

“Shadow Clone Jutsu!” Naruto shouts, as about twenty clones appear around him, all leaping into the air.

“I have to help him” I tell myself, brows furrowing as the clones all take hold of Sora.

“No way Angel” a voice says from behind me, a hand grabbing onto my wrist. “You’re not going near him. I don’t want you getting hurt as well.”

“So, you’re allowed to act reckless and attack him” I begin, scowling up at Kiba, “But I’m not allowed to?”

“That’s right” Kiba confirms shamelessly, his grip on my wrist tightening.

“That’s hardly fair!” I cry in protest, only to look over at Sora, as he sends all of the Naruto clones flying high into the air, all of them disappearing.

“Sora!” the real Naruto shouts in Sora’s face, gripping the boy’s shoulders. “Snap out of it! Ya gotta listen to me!”

Naruto pauses, as Sora’s lips suddenly pull up into a sinister smirk. A red aura swiftly begins to envelope Naruto, making me gasp.

“Oh no” I breathe. “The Kyuubi inside Naruto….I-It’s awakening!”

“What….What is this?” I hear Naruto ask, looking down at his hands, blue eyes wide. “What’s going on?”

“Oh no!” Yamato cries. Naruto leaps away from Sora, staring down at his hands, brows furrowed in confusion.

“What the heck is going on here?” he asks, hands shaking slightly. “Did my Nine Tails awaken all by itself?”

“Oh no, this is bad” I say, beginning to panic. “This is really bad!”

We can barely deal with one person being taken over by the Nine Tails. How the hell are we meant to deal with two?

‘H-Hakuba?’ I ask hesitantly, only to be met with silence.

“No!” Naruto shouts, looking behind him, eyes widening as he sees that three tails are beginning to take shape. “No, not now! I can’t let it come out!”

“N-Naruto?” Sakura calls, glancing back at him as she works on healing Shimei’s chest wound.

‘Hakuba?’ I ask again. ‘I know you’re there, stop being so immature!’

‘I can hear you’ comes the smart reply. ‘I’m merely ignoring you.’

‘What do I do?’ I ask, ignoring the Demon’s attitude. ‘We’re in a lot of trouble here!’

‘You could always let me out and take care of the problem for you’ Hakuba offers darkly, eyes shining. ‘But you’re going to have to beg me for it.’

‘I don’t want you to come out’ I growl. ‘You’re a Tailed Beast, and I just want to know how to deal with this situation! Besides, you’ll try and kill Naruto if I let you out!’

‘True, very true’ Hakuba chuckles hauntingly. ‘But that is my one and only offer. I’m not helping you defeat that boy for nothing. Why should I? How does that benefit me?’

‘Hakuba you conniving, greedy little-’

I am shaken out of my thoughts, as Sora lets out an ear piercing roar. Glancing over at him, I see him leap for Naruto, who manages to flip out of the way. Whirling around, Sora launches himself forwards and wraps a hand around Naruto’s throat, forcing him backwards.

“Naruto!” I shout, my eyes widening further. What do I do? What can I do?! I can’t just leave Naruto to fend for himself down there. He’d never do that to me after all!

“S-Stop it Sora!” Naruto cries, managing to free himself from Sora’s grip, only for the possessed boy to grab his arm. “You don’t want to do this!”

I suck in a sharp breath and subconsciously press myself closer into Kiba’s side, as the skin begins to peel from Sora’s face, revealing patches of extremely concentrated patches of Demonic chakra. I see the realisation dawn on Naruto’s face as well, as another tail begins to form behind Sora.

“Wh-what is that?!” Choji exclaims, as Sora begins to built up a large amount of chakra, his body slowly taking on the Kyuubi’s Four Tailed form.

“Run!” Shikamaru shouts urgently, as the build up of chakra explodes, sending out another huge sonic wave.

Kiyumi and I automatically throw our arms up, pulling the ground up as a shield to protect our injured friends, before Kiba tackles me into a hug, wanting to protect me from the blast.

A strong, stinging wind tears at our hair and clothes, as leaves, rocks and pieces of wood fly through the air. A bright light flashes, causing us to all momentarily close our eyes.

After a few seconds, we all look up, with Kiyumi lowering the dinted earth wall back into the ground, allowing us to see Naruto and Sora again.

“Are they Jinchuuriki or something?” Atsui suddenly questions, staring hard at the two boys.

“How do you guys know about Jinchuuriki?” Kiba questions curiously, narrowing his eyes at Atsui. “You don’t even use chakra! Well, much anyway.”

“How do we know about Jinchuuriki?” Atsui repeats, looking at Kiba as if he’s a complete moron, before switching his gaze to me. “Because Ash-”

“Shut up!” Saffire hisses fiercely, hurling a stone at Atsui, and nailing him in the side of the head. “Idiot……”

“Because……huh?” Kiba asks, looking to me for an answer. I shrug, trying to appear confused.

“Uhh….Who knows?” I laugh nervously, dropping my eyes from his gaze. Sue me. I don’t want my Leaf Village friends to know I’m a complete monster. It’s not exactly an easy thing to tell people.

“Ahhh!” Naruto screams, catching my attention. I gasp, watching as Sora, now in his Four Tailed form, head butts Naruto. The blonde shoots backwards, slamming heavily into the ground and causing the earth to crack.

“Naruto!” Sakura and I shout, with the pinkette leaping to her feet, green eyes wide. I see Naruto climb onto all fours, gritting his teeth and glaring at Sora. My eyes grow wide at the sight of Naruto’s skin beginning to peel off, signalling that he too is on his way to turning into the Nine Tails’ Four Tailed form. Not something that I want to happen, as I’m quite sure he can’t control himself when his fourth tail appears.

‘……..Hakuba’ I whisper internally, watching as Sora stalks towards Naruto. ‘Hakuba.’

“No…..” Naruto murmurs, squeezing his eyes closed. “No! I won’t let you take over me! Not this time!”

“Captain Yamato!” Sakura cries desperately, running towards the brown haired man. “Can’t you do something?!”

‘Hakuba…….Please…..’

“Get back you stupid Fox!” Naruto growls, clenching his clawed hands into fists. “You think you can just take over whenever you want?! No!”

“I can’t….” Yamato informs Sakura sadly, eyes filled with worry and uncertainty. “My Jutsu won’t work on him when he’s like this…..We’ll just have to hope that Naruto’s willpower will be enough to hold the Beast back.”

“Oh no….” Sakura says softly, turning to look at Naruto with wavering eyes. “Naruto…”

Suddenly, Sora launches himself forwards, jaws opening wide as he lets out a powerful roar. Naruto looks up, just in time to see Sora throw a clawed hand forwards, slashing Naruto across the cheek and sending him tumbling across the ground.

Naruto collides with a tree, groaning in pain, as Sora races after him, growling menacingly.

‘Hakuba……Hakuba!’ I call, growing more desperate as Sora takes another swipe at Naruto, who is reluctant to attack and hurt Sora.

‘You know what I want……’

‘I won’t beg you’ I inform the Wolf stubbornly, narrowing my eyes.

‘If that’s what you want’ Hakuba chuckles evilly, enjoying watching Naruto getting hurt. ‘Then your stubbornness will cost that boy his life……And you call yourself his friend……’

‘Shut up!’ I shout at Hakuba, wincing as Sora lifts Naruto into the air above his head. I exhale sharply, as Sora slams him down into the ground, before whirling around and whipping Naruto with his four tails. A chill runs down my spin as Naruto shouts out in pain, rolling to the side and avoiding another hit from Sora’s tails.

“Can’t….Let it……Out…..” Naruto chokes out, trembling and seemingly having a hard time keeping his Kyuubi under control. I swallow thickly, watching as more of his skin peels away, revealing that dreaded chakra beneath his flesh.

‘……Hakuba…..Please……’

‘You’ll have to do better than that’ comes the teasing reply.

Sora launches himself forwards again, only for Naruto to run and meet him head on. As Naruto leaps into the air, Sora grabs him by the leg and swings him around, before throwing him towards the earth.

Naruto slams into the ground painfully, the earth cracking and giving way under the pressure of the hit. Sora, looking angry now, tilts his head back and opens his mouth.

My eyes widen at the sight of the chakra forming above his face.

‘Hakuba!’ I shout urgently in my mind. ‘Please, we need your help!’

‘Who needs my help?’ the Demon taunts, enjoying my panic and discomfort.

“What’s that?” Kiba asks, as Naruto rises to his feet, wiping his mouth and looking at Sora, one eye scrunched closed.

Everyone gasps, as the orb in front of Sora’s mouth grows larger, giving off a dark vibe. Sora tilts his head forwards again, aiming the huge chakra ball at Naruto.

“Everybody, run!” Yamato orders urgently, as Sora shoots the huge chakra ball at Naruto, who is standing about fifty metres ahead of us all.

“Hakuba!” I shout out loud, as the whole area is enveloped in a bright light. “I need your help! Please lend me your power!”

“AAAAHHHHHH!”

Third Person’s POV

“Is everybody okay?” Yamato asks, standing beneath the shield of chakra imbued wood he’d hurriedly created.

“Yeah, I’m fine” Ino sighs, leaning her back against the wall and closing her eyes.

“I am fine also” Lee confirms, glancing around to see if his fellow teammates are okay. He’ managed to grab Keilor before the blast hit, and he was happy to see that Shimei and Tamashi had been carried to safety as well.

“I’m all good” Kiba says, rubbing the back of his head and leaning against Akamaru. “You alright buddy?”

“Ruff!” the large Ninken confirms, as Kiyumi glances around frantically.

“Where’s Ashley?!” she cries in a panic, making everyone pause. “Where’s my sister?!”

Kiba immediately leaps to his feet, as do Sakura and Saffire.

“She mustn’t have made it in time….” Sakura whispers, eyes filling with tears. Everyone pauses again, as part of Yamato’s shield cracks, and abruptly falls to the ground, allowing everyone to see the battlefield of Sora and Naruto.

“Hey……What’s that?” Choji asks, pointing to something outside. “It wasn’t there before.”

Everyone gathers around to have a look, only for all of the Minami’s to gasp in horror.

“Th-That’s……” Saffire chokes out, legs shaking.

“No way!” Atsui barks, eyes as wide as saucers. Tsumetai whimpers, scampering up onto Atsui’s shoulder.

“Where’s Naruto?” Sakura questions, glancing around, only able to see Sora and the……other thing.

“There!” Shikamaru points out. “He’s lying behind that….um…….that.”

Naruto, still in his Three Tailed form, lifts his head, glancing dizzily at the shadowy creature before him.

“What…..happened?” he asks slowly, blinking and rubbing his eyes to try and focus them better.

Sora growls angrily, glaring at the newcomer hatefully. The newcomer glares right back, blood red eyes glowing and narrowed dangerously.

It bares its teeth, black chakra swirling around wildly and sending a chill through the air. It glances back over its shoulder at Naruto, its bright red eyes making him freeze.

“Are you okay Naruto?” it asks in a demonic, yet strangely familiar voice. Naruto’s eyes widen.

“A-Ashley?” he asks. “Is that……you?”

The girl gives him a dark grin, flashing her large fangs teasingly.
