"Hey Mads!"

Morgan walked towards in the indoor arena when Georgina entered the arena with a liver chestnut horse called Romeo.

"Hey Mor. What's up?"

"That's your lesson client for your 15:30 appointment. Should I tack off Elvira for you? So you won't run out of time?"

"Oh your angel! Thanks Mor."

She blew me a kiss which made me laugh softly. I found the guy from earlier leaning against the wall and smirking at me. Ew. I turned on my heels as I looked towards Georgina.

"So tell me about yourself and your horse, Georgina"

"I'm not here to chit chat!"

"I know, me neither. But I would like to know what level you're riding on and things you find hard or easy. So we can find something to work on."

She rolled her eyes before she obeyed my request. She gave me all the details about how her horse was so expensive but he was so shitty to ride while the first thing I noticed was how hard she rode him. She was everything expect nice to him. Well fuck me, my first lesson client after a week of setteling in here and it has to be this one. I try and tell her to be gentle to the horse but after 20 minutes she still isn't listening. The horse starts freaking out and starts to rear and buck from time to time.

"Georgina come here please."

"Why?!"

She lets the horse walk towards me and let's it halt before me. I close the buckle of the helmet I'm still wearing and grab the reins of the horse.

"Would you care to get off. I would like to have a feel on Romeo. Just to know if you just can't listen to me or if it's really needed."

She shakes her head and gives me a 'high class' look with those stupid pouted lips of her. I squint my eyes at her before opening my mouth after a moment.

"If you don't get off right now, I'll pull you down by your hair. No one disrespects a perfectly fine horse in my presence."

With an angry face she gets off the horse. I get on and start riding the liver chestnut gelding called Romeo. He's amazing. He's feather light in the hand. In fact... he's so light in the hand I can ride him on two fingers. after a few rounds of walking, trotting, cantering and a few jumps I get back off.

"My father will hear about the way you're treating me!"

"Listen here Georgina. This is an excellent horse you have here. You're he problem here and if you don't change your way of riding you'll slowly ruin your perfect angel of a horse. Did you see how light he was in my hand... I could ride him with 2 fingers. So take my advise or go on and ruin an innocent horse."

She looks like she's about to explode before she paces out of the arena without her horse.

"If you know everything go on and jumo him over some higher jumps then these baby jumps! Show me then! You stupid know it al!"

She starts screaming from the side of the arena. Her brother behind her frowns as he looks at his sister with... hatred? I roll my eyes and take a deep breath.

"I'm not here to ride your horse. I'm here to help you improve riding your horse."

She continues throwing a tantrum and paces out of the arena and away from Romeo and me.

"I'm sorry for my sister... would you mind taking him off?"

I give her brother a tight smile before he walks off after his sister. I sigh and look at the gentle eyes of Romeo. I pet his face softly.

"Poor you huh... sucks to have an owner like that. Come on... let's get you to the field again."

I lead the gelding to the washing places. I tack him off and brush him a little bit before giving him a few horse treats. I pet his face a few more times.

"You're good with horses."

I turn around to face the blue eyed, dirty blonde haired boy once again. I give him a soft smile before I look at Romeo again.

"I don't think I have ever seen someone call my sister out on her shit like that. Thank you for that. She needs to get her head pulled out of her behind."

"With pleasure..."

He gives me a nod before he walks away backwards keeping his eyes on me.

"See you around Madeleine... see you around..."

"Bye."

I give him a harsh goodbye as I didn't know what to think of him yet. He can't be better than his sister right? They are related to each other for a reason. But I can't help but think he might be different from her. He apologized for his sister 2 times... that says something right? I get nudged in my side by an elbow and I wince while looking up to see an over-excited Morgan.

"Ouch that hurts!"

"Girl shut up! You just got the hottest guy that has ever set foot on this property swooning over you! Did you see those heart eyes he send you!"

"You are imagining things..."

"I swear Mads! He wants you, he wants you, he wants you..."

She started singing her last sentence and I rolled my eyes as I watched Morgan dance her way to the tack room while she didn't stop singing. Jeez why did I have to become friends with the weird girl. I shake my head dissaprovingly before I lead Romeo out of the barn and walk him to his field all the way in the back. I pet the gelding on his head one more time.

"Enjoy your time outside boy... we'll come get you for your dinner at 17:10."

The rest of the day went by in a blur. I rode a few more horses and ended the night with Morgan on her couch watching 'how to lose a guy in 10 days'. We both love that movie. I mean who doesn't love Andie... especially in that yellow dress. It's to die for! At the end of the night I laid out all my stuff for Monday... my first day of University.
