Snow Demons.

((So today I was walking and there was this massive cliff in the distance. Like, a huge, huge cliff. And right at the top, on a ledge was... a sofa. A HUGE COUCH JUST CASUALLY SITTING ON TOP OF A CLIFF. No houses in sight. ))

"This is awesome!"

Vincent grinned, looking at Scott. He was inside the igloo that they'd made together, wearing a bright pink snow jacket and his normal black pants. Pink was the only spare jacket colour Vincent had left, but seeing as Scott had admitted to wearing his sister's dresses, Vincent had a feeling he didn't exactly mind wearing a feminine colour.

Scott peered out at Vincent, "Aren't you going to come in? It's really cool in here."

Vincent rolled his eyes, but smiled, ducking in through the small entrance they'd made and standing up inside the little house.

It was only small - hardly big enough for the both of them - but Vincent had to admit it was pretty cool - and not just because he was getting frostbite.

Scott grinned, "We should take a photo of this. Wait here, I'll go get my phone." He ran out of the igloo towards the house.

Vincent smiled, then traced a small heart on the wall of the snowy abode. Underneath the heart, he drew 'Vincent and Scott Made This'.

Scott reappeared, snapping a photo of Vincent inside the igloo, "Smile!"

Vincent spun around to look at him, "Hey, I wasn't ready. You're supposed to say 'smile' before you take the photo."

"Fine. Smile," As soon as the word left his mouth, Scott took another photo.

Vincent rolled his eyes, but laughed, "You're such a child."

Scott grinned, "You know you love me."

Vincent narrowed his eyes, "Oh, trust me. I know I do."

Scott laughed, blushing slightly. He looked down at his phone, "Oh, what do you know. I was actually recording all that time..." He turned the video off and smiled, "That one's a keeper."

Vincent leaned down, pretending to smooth part of the wall over, but he scooped up a little bit of snow, "Take another video. I want this to be on tape."

Scott tilted his head, "Want what to be on tape?" But he pressed the record button on his phone, "Okay, it's rolling."

Vincent stood up, and threw the snowball right at Scott's chest.

Scott stumbled back a little, "Oh. Oh, it is so on!" He leaned down, scooping up a huge snowball and throwing it. It hit Vincent right on the face. Half-melted snow ran down his neck into his snow-jacket.

"Aaah!" Vincent hissed, "That's cold! You're so evil."

"Scott reins supreme!" Scott cheered, "That's what you g-Mmf!" A snowball had just got him square in the mouth.

Vincent doubled over in laughter, "That's priceless! You should see your face right now!"

Scott spat out snow, "Oww. That really hurt, Vincent."

Vincent's grin disappeared, "Oh, whoops. You okay?"

Scott frowned slightly, putting a hand to his mouth, "Not really."

"I didn't mean it," Vincent walked forwards, standing beside Scott, "You wanna go inside?"

Scott nodded slightly, but before Vincent could move again he suddenly leaped forwards, pulling at Vincent's snow jacket and putting a handful of snow down his shirt.

Vincent jumped back, "Aah! Ah, ah, ah! Cold, cold, cold!"

Scott cackled evilly, "Sucker."

"You bet I am," Vincent mumbled.

"What?" Scott frowned.

"Nothing," Vincent grinned, "Okay, okay. You win fair and square."

"Good. Now, let's go do something else," He ducked outside of the igloo.

Vincent followed behind him. At first, he couldn't see where he went. Then he almost tripped over him, "Scott! What are you doing lying on the ground?"

"Snow angel," Scott replied simply.

Vincent rolled his eyes, shaking his head, "There's no way you'd get me to lie in the cold, wet snow. You really are a child."

"You bet. Now help me up so I can see what it looks like," Scott said.

"Okay," Vincent held out an arm and Scott took it, but with a sudden yank, he pulled Vincent on to the snow next to him.

Vincent hissed at the coldness - the wet snow seeped into his pants, "Really? You really just had to do that, didn't you?"

"Yep. Now you make a snow angel, too," Scott instructed, "We can have a competition on whose ends out best."

Vincent sighed, "Can I make mine a demon?"

Scott turned his head and looked at him, "A snow demon?"

"Yeah," Vincent said, "Why not? I don't want to be mainstream."

Scott raised an eyebrow, then shook his head, "Fine."

"Cool. In which case I'm already done. I just have to add..." Vincent stood up extremely carefully and stepped out of the imprint that he'd made with his body. He leaned down and made the shape of a tail in the snow with his hands, then walked carefully around to his head and made little horns.

Scott, meanwhile, finished making his snow angel. He stood up and walked around to his head, creating a little halo in the snow above it, "There."

"A demon and an angel. Forbidden love," Vincent grinned, making a heart in between both of their heads.

"Ooh. Hot. Well, cold, actually. Freezing cold," Scott grinned as well.

"Yeah, talk about it. These pants were already tight, now they're shrinking," Vincent mumbled.

"Heh. Well, let's just make snowmen, then we can go inside and get hot chocolates and snuggle up on the couch."

"Sounds perfect," Vincent said.

"Awesome. Whoever makes the best one wins!" Scott exclaimed.

"Deal," Vincent chose himself a space in his front lawn and sunk to his knees in the snow. Smoothing out the ground in front of him, he gathered a little bit of snow and started to roll it, making it bigger and bigger. He glanced at Scott while he worked, seeing that he was trying to scoop up the snow to make a big pile. Vincent snorted. That's not how it works, Scotty.

He finished the base of his snowman, then moved on to the middle, rolling up another snowball. It was interesting how much Scott had changed him. The last time Vincent had been remotely interested in snow was two years ago. At that point in time, however, the snow was tainted pink and there had been a body only metres away from his feet. Merry Christmas indeed.

Now, of all things, he was making an igloo, a snow angel and a snowman with his partner.

He lifted the second ball of snow on top of the first, and started on the head. Being the smallest, it was finished quickly, and he placed it on top. Then he unwrapped the scarf that was around his neck and put it on the snowman instead. Standing up, he walked over to the bare tree that stood in his front yard and snapped off some twigs.

"Done!" Scott shouted out across the yard, "Okay, I'll show you mine, then you show me yours."

"Don't shout that out too loudly, Scott," Vincent replied, chuckling. He walked over to Scott, who was standing proudly in front of his snowman. It seemed like he'd just got a giant pile of snow, and then roughly shaped it into a ball with eyes.

Vincent laughed, "It looks like a chess piece."

Scott shrugged, "I think it's very abstract. Now let's see yours."

Vincent led Scott over to his immaculate snowman. He placed the twigs on either side of its body to look like arms, "What do you think?"

Scott nodded slightly, "Well. It's alright..."

"What do you mean, 'it's alright'? Look at it, it's perfect!" Vincent huffed.

"Yeah, but... It's so... unoriginal. I mean, honestly. A purple scarf? That's pretty bad taste. And those arms look like twigs. Oh wait. They are," Scott shook his head disapprovingly. "I've seen better."

Vincent snorted, "Shut up. You're only jealous."

"Excuse me?" Scott scoffed, "Jealous? When my snowman was that fabulous?" He pointed over to the melting slab of snow, "You're the jealous one."

Vincent laughed, "It is pretty fabulous, I guess. For a chess piece."

"Thank you," Scott nodded, apparently satisfied.

"Let's go back inside," Vincent said, "Seriously. I'm so cold, it's not even funny."

"Fine, but first," Scott pulled out his phone, "Let me take a selfie." He kneeled down next to Vincent's snowman, taking a photo. Smiling, he stood up, "Great. Now everyone will think I made it."

"Isn't your phone, like, soaking wet?" Vincent asked.

Scott shook his head, "Waterproof case."

"You can get waterproof cases for phones?" Vincent took the phone from Scott. Fair enough, it was in a plastic case, "That's cool."

"Yep," Scott took the phone back off of Vincent and slung it into his back pocket. Then he trudged through the snow back towards the house, "You coming?"

"Heck yeah," Vincent followed behind, "Hot chocolate and snuggling on the couch. How could I resist?"

(( I drew something! It looked better on paper but I scanned it to my computer to colour it. Sorry it's not that good but ye. ))
