Sky's pov

I rushed towards the burning town, killing any enemy soldier in my way. Please let him be ok. I thought. I ran right towards where Ty claimed he lived. I stopped in front of his house, or what used to be his house. It was burnt down, just a few flames left in the midst of ash and remaining wood. I fell to my knees tears beginning to fall down my cheeks. No. I didn't make it in time. Then I saw a small green light in the ruins of the house. I got up and walked towards it. I bent down and brushed away the ash from whatever the item was. I gasped. It was Ty's headphones. I stared at them for a while, then I slipped them around my neck. I took my amulet off and lay it where his headphones had been sitting. I got up and looked back at the battle field angrily. They killed him. So they'll get what they deserve. I thought racing right back to the battling soldiers and began to slash at my enimies.

Ty's pov

"Go Ty! Get out of here!" My mother shouted from the other side of the fire.

"You don't have much time son! Please go!" My father yelled.

"What about you guys?!" I screamed.

"JUST GO!" I heard my father yell. I stood there for a second then rushed out the door. I made it just in time, cause the house collapsed right behind me.

"Mom? Dad?" I said staring at the ruins of my home. "MOM?! DAD?!" I screamed barely heard over the hisses and crackling of fire. I fell to my knees and sobbed into my hands. I them realized I was far too close to the fire and had been inhaling smoke the whole time. I back away coughing heavily. I ended up finding what seemed to be a safe place in the forest nearby I just watched the battle, then I think I saw Sky. I watched as he rushed into the town and to the ruins of my house. He fell to his knees and stared at it. I screamed his name but I was too quiet, for he just got up and walked towards the ruins and bent down. He picked something up. My headphones. Then he slipped them around his neck and placed his amulet where my headphones had been. The he got up and began to run back to the battlefield. I made sure the path was clear and rushed back to the ruins of my house. I picked his amulet up and placed it around my neck. I then headed back to my hiding place and lay down. I soon fell into an uneasy and nightmare filled sleep.
