Sky's pov

I sent Ty off to tell the other servants around the castle to get the place ready for the ball I'm having tonight. You see there are 3 kingdoms, therefor 3 colors assigned to them. Mine is yellow, there is also blue and red. I smiled and looked out the window and smiled. The Red and Blue kingdoms are invited. Who knows if they'll send any representatives. The Blue kingdom's name is Luna, known for the beautiful night that is cast upon it. The Red kingdom's name is Gemtropolis, known for the beautiful gems they find. My kingdom, Seena, is know for the castle, which some say is the most beautiful castle they've ever seen. I don't know why they picked Seena for the name though. I sighed and began to get ready. After the ball I'm hoping to see Ty before he has to head to the servant's quarters.

Ty's pov

I rushed through the castle telling the others what had to be done. Then I ran into Mitch. "Hey dude." He said.

"Hi Mitch." I said breathlessly.

"Man you seem busy... um I never learned your name, but sit down for a bit." He said.

"My names Tyler, bit I'm usually called Ty, and thank you." I said and he nodded.

"Man tonight sounds exciting doesn't it?" He asked.

"Yeah, it's the first ball I'll attend." I said.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yeah. I've never had the money to go to one before." I said. He nodded.

"I know how you feel, before I became a guard my family barely had the money to attend things such as this." He said. "I have to go train some recruits, I'll see you later Ty." He said walking away. I got up and began to walk towards the servant's quarters. I walked into my room and saw a box sitting on my bed. I walked over and saw a note attached to it.

Dear Ty,

I hope you like it. I think it suits you. I want you to look beautiful at the ball tonight, for I will be waiting for you by my thrown.

I smiled and opened the box to see a beautiful gold tux, it looked as if it was made from the finest silk. It shone like the sun in the light of the room. I walked into the bathroom and began to get ready.

Time skip to ball

I walked down the stairs that led to the ballroom. I could tell people were looking at me in awe, I could see it in their eyes. I then walked towards the thrown where Sky was standing. I then positioned myself next to him and smiled. He smiled then looked at the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, I present, The Grand Ball!" He said and people cheered. I looked over the crowd seeing several people from the other kingdoms. Then some people I assumed were from the red kingdom, considering their red outfits, approached us.

"Hello your highness." The lady said bowing, as did the man beside her.

"Hello. What might your names be?" Sky asked.

"I am Madame Garnet and this is Sir Ruby." Madame Garnet said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Sky said.

"May I ask, who is this young fellow with you?" Sir Ruby asked.

"This is Tyler Ellis, head of the servant staff and my boyfriend." Sky said proudly.

"My what a lucky boy to have such a love as you your highness." Madame Garnet said. We talked to them for a while and then Sir Ruby made an awful mistake while walking off to get some punch.

"My Sir Ruby, you have one heck of a mouth." Sky said and Sir Ruby stopped in his tracks. "We won the war against you and you have no right to curse my kingdom." Sky said. "For you have broken my law." He exclaimed then pointed directly at Sir Ruby. To guards came out of no where and grabbed Sir Ruby by the arms. "Now, bow to me." Sky demanded. Sir Ruby hesitated but bowed. By now people stopped what they were doing and were staring at the scene before them. For they all must know the penalty for breaking a law in front of the king. Death. Then Mitch walked up to me handing me a sword. My eyes widened as I realized that the head servant was the one to kill the law breaker. I took the sword and looked at Sky. He nodded and smiled. I pointed the sword at Sir Ruby and felt myself smile slightly. Not now! I thought, although it was too late for people gasped when they say my eyes turn to a deep purple. Then I couldn't help but smile. I then swung the sword across the man's chest and he fell to the ground, dying rather quickly.

"Shall we end the ball here Sky?" I asked quietly.

"Yes, I'm getting rather tired of talking." He said.

"The ball is now over! Return home and have a lovely night!" I said glancing at Madame Garnet who was on her knees holding Sir Ruby in her arms, tears rolling down her face. I walked off with Sky, then I realized what I had just done. I shook my head and gave the sword to Mitch who rushed up to grab it. Sky walked into his room pulling me in with him. He closed and locked the door. I looked at him confused. He then pushed me onto the bed and kissed me hungrily. I smiled and kissed back, knowing that I wouldn't be returning to my room that night.
