Goodbye
Sky's pov
I stared at the middle of town. It was almost 3:00. At 3 Ty would be decapitated. I couldn't stop it because I have no right to. I just stared at the guillotine, that's what they were going to use. I watched as guards walked up to the guillotine with Ty, who still looked exactly like me as I looked just like him. Why didn't he let me take the blame...? I thought. I looked at the large clock tower. Just then the clock chimed 3 times. I sighed, fixing the hood I was wearing, then I looked back to where Ty was standing. He was now being secured to the guillotine. The crowd was giving shouts of hate, spitting all of that hate right towards Ty. Although it was all about me. I whimpered a little, knowing that it was all my fault Ty was going to die. I watched as a guard put a hand on the lever that would make the large blade come down. My eyes widened as I heard Ty speak. "Oh look, it's time for tea." He said. Then the guard pulled the lever. Tears streamed down my cheeks as it all ended, Ty had just said some of my favorite words. I had always loved it when he said that. I then forced myself to walk out of town, to the boat I was leaving on. I stepped onto the boat and looked at the town one more time. "I'll miss you..." I whispered. I then sat down as the boat was untied from the dock. I watched my home grown smaller and smaller, then it disappeared. He didn't even bother to look at the royal crest, he just said those words and smiled... I thought, whimpering. I wish I could've stopped it. I sighed. Ty wouldn't want me moping like this, he would want me to move on and stay strong. I looked at my amulet. The purple gem in the middle shone in the sunlight and the gold did the same. Tears began to stream down my cheeks once again. I'm without the love of my life now. At least I won't be all alone on the island, my friend Jin will be there. He's the only friend I have now. The only one I can trust at least.
