Lawless pointing at him while hunch down on the ground " whoever this walking corpse is, if he's lights enemy, then he's my enemy too"

" can it hedgehog" licht grumbled

" the name is higan, I'm one of tusbaki's
Loyal friends which means you and I aren't going to get along very well" the red head says cigarette in mouth " nice to meet you" he smirks

Licht puts Yuno down and holds a hand out in front of lawless

" you stay out of my way, I'll take care of this demon myself" licht says to lawless

" what are you talking about?!" The SerVamp exclaimed as he saw his eve trying to stay straight " you can barely stand on your own two feet right now!"

" Hyde, don't tell me your scared" licht glared turning back while lawless have a pissed off expression " no! I'm just a little worried because you look like your half dead already!"

"You two seem close" higan smiles sheepishly while waiting for them to finish arguing

" I hate him!" They exclaimed making him laugh

"You know, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that we don't get along" lawless said

" yeah, there's no way I could be on friendly terms with a demon, because you see...." he lifts his arms up and does his pose " I'm an archangel, sent to purify this world" he states

" look at that glow, a holy beacon of light!" Lawless fanboys " the ultimate musician! No one can stand the way of my violent little angel!"

Lawless doges a kick from licht " move it!" He gasps when he sees a familiar face lying on the ground with a familiar animal in the same condition was in when he got in a fight with higan" minene!" The unconscious Moon then vanished to regenerate

Lawless gasped and glared at higan " you bastard!"

" what? She snuck by and I have my orders, it's her own damn fault" he shrugged

Licht let out a tch, his hand brushing against her cheek, he heard a faint " licht...." he gasped when he heard her weak voice " is that you?....I'm sorry...I failed..."

" no...you didn't..." he grit his teeth, he moved her over to the unconscious Yuno and lay her right next to her against the banisters, then passed her the unconscious girl " sit tight, we'll handle this and get you both out of here...." he said before returning to lawless side, glaring at the subclass " your gonna regret what you did"

"Wow, such youthful energy, you don't mind if this old man cuts in right?" He says lighting fire on his hand, burning the cigarette

" let's dance! My little bell!" He laughs in fighting position

The two leap into action, licht jumps from above and tries to kick him while lawless sneaks from the side, but higan moves back, lawless was about to strike until higan moved and cut his cheek, he was then surprised when flames appeared making him cry out clenching it " where'd the flames come from?!" He exclaimed

Licht steps on his face " stupid Hyde, get a hold of yourself"

" it burns!"

"  I already told you, he can make flames appear anywhere he scratches, you should be on your guard" licht scolds

" nope! Pretty sure I'd remember you saying that!" Lawless exclaimed

" I'm not Wasting time with this old man again" he said glaring at higan " fine, be that way" said man with his hands raised

Licht jumps forward with his leg ready to attack " you'll die first" higan raises his arm, but gasp when he sees lawless in his place " Jekylland Hyde!"

Licht was actually coming from from the other side, and higan is kicked into the wall

" so hot" lawless groaned clenching his arm which got burned when blocking " that was good, a solid strike" Licht said

Higan stands back up " and he's getting back up" licht groaned " the old man must be tougher than he looks"

"Cmon let's stop playing around and take this guy out quickly so we can help the girls" lawless smirks the two sprint off at different angle ' licht looks kinda weak but if anyone knows Howe powerful his kicks can be when he's mad, especially when someone hurts minene, it's me'

' if I try to counter lichts attacks he'll switch with lawless, that SerVamp can block all of my blows, his defence is impenetrable, when he blocks I'm left open  for a small window of time, meaning licht can jump back in and land an attack, clever strategy....' higan notes as he's kicked back ' however...' higan takes of his glove with his mouth as licht runs in for an attack, at surprising speed, he cuts lichts cheek, but what was surprising was that there weren't any flames

"Licht!" Lawless exclaimed

" where are the flames?!" He asked confused

" aww...maybe you forgot this old mans also a vampire" he lifts his hands up with the blood on it smiling " now I see how you taste and add your power to mine"

After he did so, outside the building a large flame burst from the roof

The two were knocked back against the stair banister where minene who held and protected Yuno

" guys!"

"Scorpion flame" higan had a hand over his face " I admit I'm a little hesitant to do this, something about you reminds me of the past, I want to freeze this moment in and contemplate the meaning of happiness"

" you okay?" Lawless groaned 

Higan grunts while there's an almost similar sound to a bone breaking "  I'm going back...into the past!" Three cigarettes were now in his mouth " to that time when the whole world was nothing more than my canvas!" While the two looked " now I think it's time you saw me Draw"

In the basement

" why are you telling me about these things about tsubaki?" Misono questioned

" I don't know..." Sakuya replied, turning away " maybe just to by some time, besides you don't know how much of what I tell you is a lie...I can never fully commit to the truth...it's sad"

" sorry, but we don't have time to play along in your little game  right now" misono glared

" you think your in control here?" Sakuya Questioned " you can't leave this place until I say so!" He yelled turning back and throwing knifes, misono gasped but mio flutters in front, defending her master with a magic barrier " misono!" Lily exclaimed

Said boy grit his teeth

" I know exactly what your thinking, a subclass like me could never beat a SerVamp right?" Sakuya asks

" what?!"

" did you know, that breaking the item an eve gave their SerVamp will break the SerVamp too?" He asked while lifting his hand in front of his Vision of Lily " just like that" and closes his hand into a fist

The chainsaw in his hand vanished in green energy, then bites his hand drawing blood that turns into a katana and charged at them, Lily blocked his attack with his scythe

" this sword was a gift from my master" Sakuya smirks " you'll find that her it has a
Very Unique power, it can nullify the ability's of other SerVamps" he smirked

As the scythe breaks to their surprise "Lily!" Misono shouts, but stops when Sakuya points the katana at him and mio

Just then their surpass when a bullet is shot deflecting off the blade and into a pipe that stream escapes from " mikuni! You bastard!" Misono glared, as he see him sitting up high with the snake familiars around his neck

Said guy jumps down with the jeje who was still armed " now is that anyway to talk to your big brother, especially when he just saved your damn life"

" mikuni, thanks" Lily says while clenching his arm " when are you two gonna learn how to fight better? Especially with your familiars guiding you"

" are you alright Lily?" Misono asked

" the elevator on the next floor up is still working fine, don't you want to go find your friends and save the girl?" Mikuni asked

Misono turns his head still glaring " I don't need your help" he stated angry

" misono!" Lily scolds as he walks up the stairs, Lily looks back at mikuni with jeje ' you mustn't hate him misono, someday you'll know the truth as well...'

Back with pride

" pheo pheo!" She squawked and flew at fast speeds the subclasses shielded themselves grunting, the two used this as a distraction

Tetsu held up the box that started glowing dark blue " black box!" He and hugh say

He yells out as multiple bats swarm out to hugh, he thrusts his cane out " go forth minions!" He smirked

The subclasses shield themselves, girl pulls herself and the boys back while hugh stood proud " good girl" hugh praised scratching her chin

" huh?" They looked up and saw shamrock about to strike and belkia laughs as he traps them in a box " no Hugh! Phoe phoe!" Tetsu exclaimed

Belkia laughs " now! Here we go!" Misono gasps as he arrives at the scene " 1 2 3!" The box disappears in shock and hughs cane fell out, along with one of phoe phoe's feathers tetsu started in shock " sendegaya!" Misono called out

Belkia laughs " sorry but your a little too late, the magical vanishing SerVamp and familiar show is already over, but please stay around for the next act!"

" where are hugh and phoe phoe?!" Misono questioned

" shorty...I don't know what happened...but their gone" tetsu says " just disappeared..." while he's shocked

" it was pretty easy" belkia says laughing "  not interesting at all" he says imitating tsubaki " that's my tsu tsu voice"

"That's awful..,your impressions are a problem..." the girl says hanging upside down " I told you the three of us can do this on our own, we don't need higan" shamrock says arms crossed

" bastards! Where did you send phoe pheo and hugh?!" Misono glared

" huh?" Belkia haze returned to them " I'm happy to hear my trick entertained you, but it looses it magic of i tell you how it's done, more importantly" he holds up a sword " shouldn't you too be way more concerned about yourselves? I don't think your gonna like the skewering party I'm about to throw in your honour, kids, what're you gonna do without any useful SerVamps and familiars to protect you? Hmm?"

" sendegaya, where's the bastards named higan?" Misono asked

" huh?" Tetsu looked and couldn't see the man anymore " he was here earlier, I think he's dealing with the greed pair and the girls now, upstairs" he answers

' Sakuya watanuki said their true objective was actually to capture pride, tsubaki baited is with the distance limit, so we'd be under pressure to rush in with out much planing' misono thought ' we played exactly like they wanted us too, but as long as we still have lilac hostage, at least we have some kind of leverage, should we retreat?! Or fight?!'

Belkia tried an attack, but tetsu quickly took hughs cane and used it to block the swords, but the girl used her strings and tied them to his ankle and pulled getting him stuck in a kneeling down position

' the magician said it was some kind of trick, maybe he has some sort of teleportation power, he might have warped hugh and phoe phoe somewhere, we should search for them! But where do we start?! They could be anywhere!"

" misono!" He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard tetsu " tell me what to do! Your the brains behind all of this!" He says as shamrock was getting closer to them " cmon! Hurry! Things are looking bad!"

Meanwhile Sakuya was running up the stairs away from the shooting SerVamp when the budiling shook he looked out the window and gasped when he saw a familiar person carrying the bird " what?!"

" retreat..." misono whispered but gasped when a shadow appeared behind them, upstairs, the pair and subclass fighting stopped and looked in shock, lawless mainly

The window then shattered in the room misono and tetsu along with the Lily and mio were in and a large dark figure started to rise into view outside the window

With Mahiru on top " Mahiru!" Sakuya exclaimed from his position below

He looks up at the eves and subclasses inside while holding toto who was still in a weak state

" what the hell is this form?! Is that Kuro?" Misono question in Shock " he's not a black cat, he's a nightmare!" As an red eye emerged then the animal baring its teeth then roaring " a lion!"

Even tsubaki could see the giant lion not to far on the hotel roof and laughed

Mahiru jumped in the room

"So yeah, Kuro's  been holding out on us the whole time," Mahiru said.  ". Sorry for being late," He smirks  "Now, let's do this. Go Kuro!" 

"Sure."

Mikuni and jeje had Sakuya cornered, and was about to shoot him until the building game shook " jeje!" He watched as the two left and signs in relief

Back to the others

"Is that sloth?" Shamrock asks
"Sleepy Ash, I don't believe it!"  Belkia said in shock

"Shirota!" Misono and Tetsu went over to their friend.  "The two of you made it just in time" tetsu says "You got him out the ball?" Misono asked

"Yeah, and the others, are they okay?" Mahiru asked

"No, Hugh and pheo pheo are gone..:," Tetsu said

"Belkia made them disappear with some strange attack. We don't know where they went. I think the greed pair minene and Yuno are on the floor above us," Misono said

Mahiru walked up to the tall boy. "Tetsu, it's going to be fine. Please hold on to tot0" he passes the weak bird "First, let's go save Lawless and Licht and the girls. Then we'll track down Hugh and pheo pheo!" Mahiru turned back around to the enemy.

"I'll give you two tickets to my magic murder show!" Belkia smirked

"Do you not ever shut up you damn clown?"  Shamrock groaned

Mahiru weapon transformed " shirota's weapon is changing shape, it's not a broom anymore, it's a spear!"

"Make me proud, my little marionettes," Otogiri says, as she went to attack but Mahiru got her first and Kuro caught her while the guys plus mio gaped (for a dove if possible)

"Belkia!" 

"I know, I'm coming! You don't need to yell at me!"  Him and Shamrock went to attack

" meh, what a huge pain..." Kuro groaned

He crouched and the black strings on the bottom of his jacket grew larger and stood up like huge wings sprouting from his back and black spikes Staving both

Mahiru jumped up and finished them off with his spear.

They stood in shock for a few moments before dropping the ground harshly.

Upstairs

" that black lion I saw outside" higan says while holding licht up by the collar " might be a little much for the three down stairs, guess it can't be helped" he groups Lichts body " I should go down and save them"

Lawless eyes twicjed while watching ' that lion was...you brother....I can't believe it...after all this time...' his memory focused on the black lion he saw and heard ' I never thought I'd see that powerful form again...did something change inside of you?' His mind went to Mahiru ' was it something that kid said?....' his gripped his fist ' what the hell am I doing?....'  higan looks over as lawless pushes himself up

' the only one who never changes....or learns anything!....' he tried to attack him higan dodged and kneed him right in the stomach " lawless!" Minene yelled

He lets lawless drop " bad little hedgehog, you were trying to bite me weren't you?" He asks while lawless coughs " here's an idea" lawless turns but gets a foot to the face " why don't you lick my shoes instead" lawless growls " play nice, and maybe ill let your precious angel and witch  walk out of here alive" he says while lifting licht up by the hair

" huh?"

" not that our kind should care about him" he removes the cigarette from his mouth " as you well know, human lives are so fleeting"

Minene grew more angry, and charged him yelling " careful now"

She yells out as he kicks her aside, making her crash against the banister " you might hurt yourself"

" damn you!" Lawless growled

" stay strong you masochistic hedgehog!" Licht says

" huh?!"

" and as for you higan, why don't you get down on your knees and lick my boots instead!"

While the others gave him a weirded out look ' this...is staring to get a little bit weird....' him and minene thought

" actually that's disgusting...never mind..." he takes it back

' oh licht...'

" haha..." higan chuckled " how about I just kick your ass, I think that'll help ease my sweet tsubaki's sadness more than anything else right now" he smirks " I am kinda sick and tired of having to do everything my self though, I've killed so many in the past, but no matter how many die, I feel empty....no matter how many bodies pile up I feel melancholy...but I'll do whatever tsubaki wishes of me, I'll draw whatever it is he wants to see, I won't let anything stop me from ensuring my master ends up happy...it can't be helped...however depressing that might sound, and anyways self sacrifice is one of the most beautiful forms of expression"

" yeah sure..."licht said, eyes covered by his bands " everything you do is for tsubaki....but don't think killing me is some kind of noble act" he said raising his finger  up near the mans arm " it's not self sacrifice or for him, you just want to kill me" he says drawing with his own blood on the mans arm " I can tell from that look in your eyes"

He finished what he was drawing " your nothing but a cold blooded murderer..." he glared that presses his thumb and index finger on the first and third square on his arm, higan let go and felt a strange sensation in his body ' he made it into...a piano...' he stops moving ' the sound is reverberating though my entire body...'

" you can't carry out your own dark desires" licht smirks raising his hand to his face " and blame them all on someone else..." he brushes his thumb against the blood streaking down his face " that makes you weak" he says

Lawless grew excited ' woah! When did he get so cool!' While minene stated in awe with a blush

" really?..." higan asked " you think you know better than me?..."he then starts laughing and the floor beneath him burst into flames " people like you are why this whole world is  garbage!" His voice echoed

" hyde!" Licht yelled he turned to see licht summoning his piano and started playing

Higan looks up and sees lawless, a darkness covers the SerVamp, before a hand pulls the darkness away, like a piece of cloth, and lawless was now wearing a black cape around him with a white mask ' I will change...I'll be reborn...' he lifted the mask up ' right here and now!...' his mind wandered to Ophelia' there's something that I desire, I know what I want to do...I have to fight here...for everything! My whole life would have been for nothing!'
Suddenly the same darkness wraps around higan and he's wearing a black cloak and mask just like lawless

A light turns on and the two are standing on a stage, on opposite sides " I know the perfect story to preform higan! And it's a role that's wonderfully suited for you" he clenched his arms around himself " all about a selfish phantom who thinks he's been robbed...." lawless puts his hand over his face and removes his mask " when in fact he's actually the villain..." he smirks

Higan let's put a painful cry as he's engulfed by fire, which then Disbursed " too bad there's no leading lady here to Save you with a kiss!" Lawless mocks while holding his sword " We'll have to find another ending"

" so your challenging me to a one on one duel is that it?" Higna asks " your mad" he chuckled " this isn't hamlet!"

" your right..." lawless says " I'm not hamlet!" He growls charging forward, higan dodged his sword and was about to attack with his hand, but suddenly is stabbed with multiple spikes from the sword, groaning " but...I'll tell you one thing that I am..." lawless says as higan coughed up blood " a hedgehog...how do you like my spines?" He asks as his mask disappears

His retracts his weapon which disappeared and higans body fell to the ground " I may look tough...but I'll admit that took a lot out of me" he says with a hand against his forehead , he then falls back and sits on the ground tired " man I'm exhausted after that performance..."

"Wherever..." licht says walking to help minene with Yuno " let's go home and get her some help" he says gesturing to Yuno

" but your hurt!" Lawless reminds, licht stops and blood leaks from his head and falls over " licht!" She exclaimed

" what did I say?!" Lawless yells

The two lie on the ground staring up at the ceiling " I can fight..." lawless broke the silence " I could have fought back then..." the two roll their eyes over to him " I could have fought for her..." he says with a hand over his face " if only I had gone after my dreams...how differently would things turn out?..."

" stupid hedgehog...don't worry about what you could have done...there's no point of in that...you should be concerned about the present...what you should fight for now.."

" Ahh, yeah...That's a good lesson angel, when did you go get all wise huh?"

Minene chuckled weakly while hugging yunos unconscious body

Mahiru runs up the stairs with Kuro and looked eyes wide at higan on the ground

"Licht! Lawless! Minene! Yuno!"  Licht stood up. "Did you come to listen to me play?" Mahiru went up to him. "No, i came to save your life, for real this time," he said.

" little late, a virtuoso like me doesn't need anyone protecting him...," Licht fell down a bit but Mahiru caught him.

"You're eyes changed. You're almost an angel, like me," said Licht.

Mahiru smiled awkwardly" just to be clear, I'm assuming you meant That's to be a compliment didn't you?"  He then gasped in realisation "Yuno!-" he was cut off

" calm down simpleton, she's over here" minene groaned, as she got up while he looked over on shock especially in the wedding dress, limping over with Yuno, he quickly caught her as she was passed to him, he blushed but held her gently " don't worry she's unconscious, just don't let her do anything else 'heroic' when she wakes up" she quoted, limping away

His arms were shaking while he held Yuno close ' she feels so cold...like from after she used a lot of magic...' he held her tighter ' I promise...I'll never let her go again!' He says in thought while enjoying the feeling of her being back in his arms ' after all....I love her...'

Time skip

"Well then, this isn't how we planned things to go but at least we did manage to save Greed and his Eve. And Yuno....That part was a success but.... Hugh and pheo pheo gone," Misono said

Tetsu gripped hughs cane and the feather "Misono, where's Lilac?" Mahiru. Asked

"Oh, he's right here," said Misono. Tetsu opened the coffin he usually carry around to reveal Lilac inside unharmed.

Lilac came out.  "Lilac!" 

"He was never with Gil. It made sense to have our hostage here that way we would've been in a better position to negotiate if Tsubaki showed up," Misono said

Mahiru looked to his Servamp then pointed to Lawless. "Kuro." Kuro looked to Lawless.

"Yeah, I know that you're right. This is going to be troublesome though." Kuro walked over to Lawless. "Lawless," he said.

Lawless looked at him. 

"I uh... I uh... I have to thank you kay?" said Kuro. "What?" Lawless asks

"You were the only one who've never forgave me, who never forgot what I done. Knowing that, a part of me questioned if my actions were right. Because of you, I was able to face my regret. So anyways, thank you for not forgiving me," Kuro says while running his neck awkwardly

Lawless looked away from Kuro "What? You're talking crazy. You're supposed to thank people when they do forgive you, idiot." 

"Maybe," Kuro said while scratching his chin. "I was happy to see you in that form again, it had been awhile... brother. Nothing has changed, there's still a lot of stuff we have to work through. Everything's not all hunky dori between us," Lawless said

"Yeah I know."

Lawless turned and Kuro put his hand on his head. "But it's a new beginning."  Lawless stood up and Kuro walked away. "What was your name?" asked Lawless.

Mahiru looked to him. "I uh... kinda forgot."  "Mahiru Shirota," he said

"Mahiru, thank you too."

Mahiru smiled, Then walked over to him a little while holding Yuno.  "Okay Lawless, now it's your turn."

"Hmm?" 

"What's your name? C'mon it won't change for a while right?" Mahiru asks

"Ehh...." lawless chuckles "Who's to say what the future holds for us, this dumb Angel might end up pissing me off so bad I'll murder him. Who knows, just keep calling me Lawless or whatever you were before," he says. 

"Oh c'mon brother don't be such a drag." Kuro said while the vampire stands still looking a little grey

"Just tell us. It'll be so much weirder if we find out what it is later when you could've told us now."  Mahiru said

"Y-you don't know that, y-y-you stupid kid! Okay don't laugh. My name is Hyde." Lawless showed his dog tag with his name on it, While pouting

"Is that a hand engraved tag?" asked Kuro. "Don't dare make fun of my name tag because you were given some dumb random cat bell!"  "Hey that bell is really nice!" said Mahiru. Licht kicked Lawless. "OW!" 

"Stupid hedgehog! Do you have a problem with the gift I gave you?!" 

"That hurt! Why are you always so violent towards me huh?!"

Mahiru starts laughing, along with the others, and lawless joins in

" what's so funny?~" a voice coed

Suddenly he gasped and a person they don't know appears, taking lawless's name tag and lilac, who gasped and shivered frightened

" who are you?!" Mahiru glared at the stranger

Minene gasped and recognised the man " it's you..y-your supposed to be locked away!" they all looked at her

" you know him?" Licht questioned

" so you do know me?" The man questioned, then chuckled " how exactly?"

" don't give me that you bastard! Your the one who attacked Yuno and me when we were kids! And took my left eye! And kidnapped her when she was a child!" She yells in outrage, the guys gasp and glare at the man

" now that you mentioned her, and that I look at you close up, I remember you now, rather have unfortunate...but then again...that's what you get for bringing what I wanted to that location that day and getting in the way of my plans" his bands cover his eyes but didn't hide that horrid smirk

Minene growled " you!" She was about to pounce along with licht but the Mahiru and misono and lawless stopped them

Flash back

That day minene and Yuno were playing with their magic in their secret place, then that man showed up

Minene screamed when his magic struck her eye, yuno looking horrified

Yuno was kidnapped but managed to escape, and the adults found her, later on, the man and his followers were captured and the man was sealed away by magic

Flash back end

" you ruined my plans on getting her power! I spent 30 years in that void, plotting, waiting for the day i escape...so I can finally take what is rightfully mine and shroud this world in eternal darkness!" He growled

" why her?!? What does gasai have to do with any of this?!?" Misono questioned in anger while Mahiru clenching her close to him

" she's got a weak mana level so how would she be of use to you?!" Asked minene

" your wrong...." he states confusing them "is it not obvious why it is her I've chosen?" He smirks " don't forget who's the most powerful witch of them all?" he reminded

Mahiru gasped and remembered what Johann told him

Flash back

" the white witch?" Mahiru Questioned confused

" yes, she'd known as the most powerful witch of them all, one that keeps your world from falling into darkness, and see i wish to see white witch appear" he finishes his long speech

Flash back end

" so that makes Yuno...." he began " that's impossible! Her mana levels too low she can't cast a lot of magic!" Minene protests

" oh but she is!" The man states " after I was sealed away, the high counsel sealed her magical signature! And made it out that she had a low mana level in an attempt to hide her identity, but when I saw her fight those skeletons I thought, how on earth could a witch with such a low mana level cast two powerful spells, and still be breathing?! And recover at a fast rate!? I'll tell you why..." he grins " cause if any other magic user with a low mana level cast those two spells, they'd die instantly!" He starts laughing

While they look at him in shock " and after some searching, through the magic counsel, I finally found the records of Yuno gasai and read her file, and that finally confirmed she is in deed!" He cackled " the white witch!"

Just then....
CLANK!

"I found you!~" Tsubaki was back, standing next to the man but holding lilac "So you're the hostage? Don't worry I'm here now," he said to Lilac.

"Tsubaki!"

"You must've been so frightened all alone. I'm sorry it took so long for me to find you, now, give me that Lucias," he said as the man handed him the tag " here"

' what's going on!? Why is tsubaki already back?!' Misono questioned in panic

"Wow, you even defeated Higan. It looks like Greed and his Eve really went on a rampage in here" he commented " what a mess"

He looked to Kuro and. "Hey big brother. I've finally found it and her... teacher." He smirked

Minene had a look of terror on her face ' this is bad!...' she looked towards the witch in Mahiru's arms ' come on pink! We need you!Wake up already!'

Meanwhile in her mind

Yuno woke up to the sound of running water, her eyes open and she gasped, sitting up looking at her surroundings in confusion

And saw a waterfall, but one that was glowing a white and blue light and snow falling down

" where...am I?..."
