I watch, worry increasing with each foot she goes up. Near the top, she stops, and looks out at the sunset.

I see one arm reach out, before suddenly everything is moving too fast.

I race, suddenly feeling too slow, too slow, can't get her, you'll fail, don't try-

I realize that, in my state of being, I can't catch her.

I decide to change into a form most Squips don't use. There is always risks. It takes up a lot of power, you might get stuck, you could die in this state.

I didn't care at the moment.

All I cared about was (Y/N).

Pain surged through my circuits as I activated it. Soon, the pain laced through veins and blood and flesh.

I was human.

And I prayed with all my might.

Let me get to her.

Only a couple seconds passed, and I saw that if I didn't leap, she would hit the ground, and from that height-

I jumped, twisting my body to catch her.

I barely notice Jeremy land down and run over.

I barely notice anything.
